Calrissian and I would never be mistaken for Jabba's most vigilant guards. Underneath our dedicated watch, Princess Leia unfroze his favorite decoration, Han Solo. Conveniently, my eyes were wandering around the sleeping crowd, resting on a pretty dancer, with nearly black hair. Her presence in the Force was somewhat weak for a woman her age, an oddity which I was certain I'd felt before. Mara...
"I know," Carlissian responded softly. "She slapped me when I offered to get her a drink." *snickers* She would.
Closing the door behind me, I crossed the floor to Solo. "I am simply a guard, here to instill the fear of Jabba into you. He'd like you to be a quivering mess at his tail, so I'd appreciate it if you'd moan every few minutes for me." Horn...
Chewbacca instructed him to take the cup, and he did by reflex...then suddenly dropped it all over my shoes. He paled and whispered, "Horn." Now he gets it... 
Solo took a long, slow swallow before giving me a wry smile. "What is this? Some sort of CorSec outreach program?" CorSec doing outreach?! *bursts out laughing*
I nodded, before remembering he couldn't see it. "Yes, studies have shown that spending an hour in a cell with me will cure anyone of his smuggling habits." I believe it.
"I believe it." He cocked his head. "You're here with the kid, aren't you?" Finally realized what was going on.
Solo held up his hand, and what I'd like to think as blind misjudgment, knocked the pitcher, spilling more water. "I'm pretty sure I'm among the last people you'd care to risk your noble CorSec butt for, and I'm not saying I'm worth it. So. Do me a favor and risk it for someone who is...Leia. Get her out of here while you still can, before that worm...," he paused, not wishing to verbalize what he feared the worm would do to her, "just get her out." And his first thought is for Leia. Good for him.
Solo stiffened, before relaxing against the wall. "Great, you're delusional too." *snickers* Maybe.... 
I closed my eyes, concentrating first on relieving his muscle weakness from the carbonite. "He annoyed me, so I stunned him." "That works." Yes, yes, it does.
Great chapter! Loved the humor.

Great post! Han is back!  I LOVED how he told Horn to rescue Leia, because she was worth it. Noble!Han is soooo
I have a feeling Hal and Han will end up getting along... eventually.

Her presence in the Force was somewhat weak for a woman her age, an oddity which I was certain I'd felt before. …question is whether Hal will remember this, or if he’ll curse not having given it more thought. 
Did like Lando’s reaction to Hal saying the woman was unusual.
I wonder how Hal will react to what Jabba’s idea of “a change of clothes” for Leia is. How much the fatherly protectiveness will kick in about what the pervy slug thought suitable.
Loved Hal’s opening comments to Han, and how he revealed his identity. Fun that Han was keeping his cool until he realised it was Hal rather than one of Jabba’s guards.
Han being only concerned with them getting Leia out rang very true. Liked how confident Hal’s response was.
Liked the reference to RotJ’s “delusions of grandeur” line with Han calling Hal delusional.
And as other people have said it is fun that Chewbacca agrees that Han can be irritating enough for it to be plausible that he’d got himself stunned.

Hmmm, if I remember right, the whole reason why Mara was there in the first place was to kill Luke. Now I am not terribly concerned about harm coming to Luke, I just think Lunetta might have Mara get killed so she can have Luke for herself.
My heart has been touched. Han is more concerned with Leia and her safety then anything else. I think that the scruffy looking nerf herder isn't all "tough as nails" as he tries to come off as. And Gooooo Han! You're out of the carbonite! Now you are the perfect person to talk with Lainey in 30 or so years.
Really liked the dialog between Han and Hal. What is the galaxy coming to? Solo owing a Horn a favor. A Terrik wanting to marry a Horn. What's next, Booster and Hal joining the same golf and country club? Maybe even retiring to the same gated community?
Can't wait to see how you do the whole rescue/fight scene. As usual, everything would probably fall apart if it were not for the valiant efforts of a single blue astromech droid.

Another wonderful update!! I'm glad that they got to Han finally... and they may not be safe yet, but Han is at least out of the carbonite.
Boy is he going to be surprised when he wakes up and can see.
I can't wait to see what happens next!!
