Oooh, I'm so glad this got bumped up! I missed it the first time, but I absolutely love it. love The flow is great; even though the story comes in snippets, they all connect so seamlessly. Pooja's voice feels so real, with the flaws and foibles that every individual has, and her relationship with Ryoo is so believable and sister-like. The final part is just fantastic. I love Pooja's discovery, and how she erased the holo, and Ryoo's disbelief, and the denial that Pooja herself doesn't believe. Just lovely on every level. happy

Hunch indeed. I like your story - the way you've interpreted the two sisters, Pooja's voice is very real, very vivid, for all the 'stream of consciousness' style. Well done. Hope you keep writing.

Upset about the casting for the Last Airbender movies?
Write to Paramount about it.

A wonderful story! Just a little, tiny bit dark -- but dark enough to make you worry about that fine line of deniablity (sp?) she's skating. For example:

But she never asks Ryoo about her part in it, and Ryoo never tells her. She can't remember what she has never seen or heard.

So many ways to interpret this! Is it that because Ryoo never tells Pooja what Ryoo has done, now Pooja can't be held acountable for passing on the information? Or is it that both girls (women, really) are skilled at selected forgetfulness?

And I absolutely love how she recognizes Luke -- with Aunt Padme's smile and the Jedi's hair. You would think that more of the family would have put two and two together, especially since they all knew she was pregnant. Perhaps self-preservation kept them apart.

The sister bond is terrific. A great parallel to the twin bond that develops between Luke & Leia.

Well done. applause

Wow, I really enjoyed reading this. Pooja's perspective is not often seen, even in fanfiction, and it's a refreshing change. You really handled it well, and your writing style is very fun to read. Awesome job, I really loved it. applause
