	Hello everybody and welcome to the "Battle for Kalee"! This is a neat little topic the three of us GG-fans came up with! Ludo_Kressh, Grievous_Fangirl and myself have decided to write a fanfiction together in a slightly different form than the usual fic. Merged with the features of Role Playing, we will write this story in more views, from the own eyes of the main characters. We hope all you readers out there will enjoy our little play! Now, this is a free story. If anyone reading this would have the thought that it would be entertaining for him/her to join, feel free to PM us and you'll be most welcome to join in the fun! Well then! Let the games begin, shall we? Read, review and enjoy! ( And be kind! ) First of all, here is a little introduction! A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.... Star Wars: Battle for Kalee: The Clone Wars have spread throughout the starsystems, from one world to another, sparing not one life in their path. The ranks of white stormtroopers and armoured droids marked their way, causing terror and waking fear in the hearts of all beings in the universe...All this is history now, always to be remembered. The days of the Wars may have been ended, but the real battle is far from being over. The horror these wars have brought to the galaxy is being continued by an Ancient Power. One far greater than even the Iron fist of the Empire. THE DARK DRAGON moves like a silent shadow throughout the Galaxy, nurturing violence and destruction within many once-peaceful civilizations. His power now threatens the Outer Rim as well. The part of the Galaxy where the secluded world of Kalee is slowly trying to recover from the effects the long war against the Huks has left behind... Hooded cloak for travels. Wears lash on her waist and a native necklace around her neck. ------------Physique: Tall, slim, athletic, lithesome ( like most cats ). Fast reflexes. -------------Personality: Very good-hearted, empathetic, good friend and loyal, ready to help others. Always on guard, wary by nature. Has good sense of humour. --------------Quirks: A shy creature, yet, when necessary, an efficient warrior. Thinks often on her home and beloved ones. Tends to get curious. Getting locked up is her biggest nightmare; she hates bars. ---------------Force Sensitive: No Personal ship: None Biography: -Brief History: Lyloo was born on the planet of Eoz, in a beautiful natural enviroment. She grew up among friends in love and care. Her life was peaceful and harmonious...until the Clone Wars spread across the galaxy. Their homeplanet had also been caught in the fire of the battle and the composed life of the Sphinxes had come to a sudden end. The Sphinxes were ready to defend their world. They were peaceful creatures, but great warriors if danger struck and they were forced to fight. All Sphinxes were trained for battle, men and most women as well, and so was Lyloo. Their main weapons against the antagonistic troops, besides a special kind of bow design completed with aerrows which possessed explosive tips, were razorsharp Shin-Blades made of a unique metal, light, but very hard and resistant upon impact. Yet another weapon used was more common amongst the women of the race: a shining lash with fiery power, called Laser-Lash. -Military History: Lyloo was involved in the battle of Eoz, but besides that she didn’t fight in a war before. -Traumatic Experiences: The devastation her home and her people had to endure and the death caused by the war shook her to the core. Eoz was a secluded world in the Outer Rim. The Sphinxes didn’t expect to be attacked by any external power...yet, it happened nonetheless, neutral ground being the one involved or not. However, should anybody ever pose the question to Lyloo, which of her lifetime experiences she would name as the most devastating one...her choice would undoubtedly fall on the tragedy that had ensued several years ago, when she was only sixteen years of age. For in that very year, under mysterious and to the present days unsolved circumstances, her first and only true love, Ilan Ervas, went missing in the deep expanses of the Eozian woods near Lyloo's and his home village while tracking pray for fresh meat supplies with a hunting party. With the group of which he had been a member of apparently having been attacked by Farkash wolves, Ilan's disappearance could eventually be explained by only one possible cause: death. 	It rose, like it had every day since its inception, the sun rose above the horizon of Kalee, a planet plagued by wars since before even Ameru could remember...wars that took a toll on the once peaceful world he called home... Didn't leave much! Blasted bugs! Ameru complained to himself as he tried to sow another line of seeds in his dried out garden, the effects of which caused his fruits and vegetables to wilt and die... Off fighting wars...no time for tending the gardens! He hacked at the dirt some more, deep down knowing it was somewhat of a useless gesture, but he still did it, as a way of keeping his mind off of the war in which he was a valued particpant, as well as his friend, who was lost towards its end... Gods, Grievous, how I miss you! I wish you were here now, your children and wives still speak of you in reverant tones! He sighed, throwing the garden tool down on the ground, realizing that the simple chore wasn't going to take his mind off of his friend's death... Please state your military experience if applicable, also please state any trauma that effects your character's actions or personality.) -Brief History: He grew up in Reezuk village on Kalee, he is best friends with Greivous...they grew up together..he learned how to handle weapons of war from his father, Canmu Duna and how to hunt and fish. Ameru also doesn't drink alcohol or have much of a desire for the opposite sex..(That could change if he meets the right woman) --Military History: He joined the Reezuk village militia in his late teens with Grievous...he rose to the rank of colonel after several invasion attempts by the Huk, an insectile species who are the Kaleesh species mortal enemy. He transferred to the Royal Kaleesh Army when Major Shakar(Grievous) returned to stop another campaign by the Huk...he became Grievous's second-in command after that, officially being promoted to colonel.. Proficient with long blaster rifle and blaster pistols... ---Traumatic Experiences: The supposed death of his best friend after a shuttle crash, like everyone else on Kalee, he thought he died in the crash... 	Meh, oops forgot to post. Despairus walked quickly on the hard ground, as the skies were fair yet in a lonly way...He then saw he saw a character up ahead, straighting up and looking ahead. Man I have missed this place...He thought with some regret. He had been gone for nearly 5 years, searching for his father Grievous. Yes, everyone said he was died and he was wasting his time looking for him. But no, he was his son, and he knew somewhere, he was alive. He stood there a little longer in thought and at first maybe if he should turn back to his ship. I mean, what if everyone hates me by now? What if a war happened and I left them in there greatest need? He thought on that a little longer but then shook his head, Comm'on! After the war had ended, and when he became 17 he left and explored the galaxy, where he met up with a Twi'lek named Mission Ola. Together, they returned to his home planet. He had been gone for almost 7 years. --Military History: He was trained to become a great Warlord. He was trained by his father Grievous. ---Traumatic Experiences: At a young age, he lost his older brother Tarsus, who was killed in battle against a Huk. Later his father had left for some meeting, and never returned, they figured out that his ship had crashed, and they said he was dead. But he didn't beleive them. He left when he turned 17 and explored the galaxy looking for his father. Later, on the planet Utapau, he found out that his father did survive, but he had been transformed into the dreaded Droid commander, General Grievous(who he had met eariler in his travels. 	Ameru turned suddenly to see who had tapped him on the shoulder and he nearly fell to the ground in shock...he thought at first he was looking at his good friend, but then he realized that wasn't possible...Grievous was dead! He recovered his composure and asked the Kaleesh the obvious..."Who are you?" but when he did, he somewhat knew the answer, considering how much he looked like his friend... His reply was simple..."I am Despairus, son of Grievous.." 	It took a moment or two for the name to register with Ameru, then his eyes brightened up with recognition...He took him by the shoulders and smiled... "Despairus! Of course! Gods, curse my failing memory, lately my head been filled with memories of the war...your father's death...How are you?" "I've been better...I have much to tell you, about my adventures...but perhaps I should settle in first." "Of course, come back to the hut, we can talk about over something to eat!" Ameru then led the young Kaleesh male back to his family's hut, the look on the older male's face told Despairus that he was eager to hear everything he had to relate... 	Despairus quietly played around with some water Ameru had given him, he was mixed with excitment and sorrow. Despairus quickly related how his past few years had went. All the planets he had explored, the new strange people he had bumped into, and he even related how he had gotten into a small war! After finishing most of it up, Despairus sighed and rubbed his head. "Umm, Ameru I need to tell you something..." "Yah? What?" 	Ameru sat down slowly, wondering what Despairus was going on about...But Grievous is dead! He should know this... Then Despairus began, his yellow eyes meeting Ameru's own.."I found a note on Utapau...it was from my father." That's impossible! "Despairus, your father was killed in a shuttle accident! I thought you knew this!" Ameru was shocked to say the least, he couldn't understand why Grievous's son would tell him this...the Shakars were known not to give in to delusions... "No, Ameru...he was rebuilt into something else..." Despairus stopped, not sure how to explain to his father's best friend about what he saw, what Grievous had become... "Rebuilt? How? By whom?" Intrigued, Ameru had many questions, judging by the sincerity of Despairus's tone, he knew deep down the younger Kaleesh wasn't lying to him. "They rebuilt him into a cyborg, Ameru...I've seen him, you wouldn't recognize him..." "What...what did the note say?" Ameru asked, going back to the beginning of the conversation... 	Okay fellows! Sorry for the delay, but as you can see, I had a few things to write...Hehehe! Hope you'll like it!!! The darkness of space around the planet of Kalee was quiet and peaceful; only the stars sparkling in their serene way and the tremendous globe of the sun shining brightly, enveloping the green and brown orb below...It looked as if nothing could disturb this harmony of the system. Suddenly, a distant boom could be vagualy heard. The next second, a small starfighter appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, coming out of hyperspace. The lonely figure sitting in the cockpit cocked her ears as she warily observed her new surroundings. A few minutes later, she gave out a sigh of great relief...she was not followed. “Oh Visha...for a moment I thought I was a goner back there...”, she muttered to herself. It was a young female Sphinx called Lyloo Felvis. She had left her homeworld Eoz behind a couple of days ago, after having received an extraordinary offer by one of her closest friends at home; one she could not possibly turn down. Quite on the contrary, she had been overwhelmed with joy while relishing the prospects of the opportunity of testing his friend's newly built starfighter, the “Ricochet”. As Lyloo has always been interested in flying a fighter, she was more than willing to accept the invitation, even though it was to be her first time to go on a space-trip and on top of that, all on her own... but she has turned twenty not long ago and thus, she was ready to prove she could be fine on her own as well, independent of the help of her family. Although later she had to admit it, it was horribly lonely out here in space without anyone to talk to; with the oftentimes disquieting feeling of being lightyears away from the ones she held most dear in life, her friends and loving parents...but one young Sphinx had to start becoming accustomed to independence somewhere. And beyond that, there were more dire reasons for her departure as well...even though the young creature did her best not to dwell on its painful pressure upon her chest too much presently; nor did she ever tell anyone about it openly before leaving Eoz behind. For many things could prompt a being to dive headlong into unaccustomed actions of change...but it would have been highly debatable, whether any other cause could have surmounted the devastating memory of loosing one's first beloved. In hopes of finding peace from the slowly resurfacing shadows of those tragic events - distant murmurs of her past the feline female had desperately tried to suppress within herself in order to be capable of moving on - Lyloo planned to pay a visit to one of the old acquaintances of her family; the only ones actually who lived off world. Eoz was a secluded planet, one with few foreign visitors. This human they knew was an exception. A traveller who has visited many worlds during the years, including Eoz. His name was Gil, and he grew very fond of the Sphinxes, especially Lyloo’s family. Now that the fury of the Clone Wars has subsided, Lyloo hoped it wouldn’t be dangerous anymore to go on a longer trip and pay a visit to the elderly man on Lybia... However, she had to realise she was wrong. Arriving to the orbit of the planet Lybia, she found herself opposite to dozens of ominous starships which were hovering all around the area. Panic almost took Lyloo over at the sight. It all looked grimly similar to an invasion...memories rushed her mind at the thought. As one of the ships made contact and demanded her affiliation, Lyloo, while giving the asked information, carefully changed course and moments later disappeared back into hyperspace. Now, after the whirl around her changed back into the familiar dots of normal space, Lyloo’s heart almost jumped from her chest while she waited to see if she was being followed by any pursuing ships or not... After long minutes of tense listening, she finally allowed herself to relax again. This whole situation was deeply disturbing...what was going on at Lybia? The name of the Empire that the imperial ship’s captain mentioned made no sense to Lyloo. She and her kind lived far away from the center of the galaxy and news such as this never reached their home in the Outer Rim. Now, she was more worried than she has ever been since the assault on their planet almost a year ago... “Oh dear, I just hope Gil is alright...”, she sighed, concerned. Suddenly, she noticed a signal beeping loudly on her console. The level of the Ricochet’s fuel was getting too low... “Oh shoot! I forgot I didn’t have time to tank up the fighter...” She glanced outside through the windows of the cockpit and looked down towards the planet in front of her. “Hmm...So this is Kalee...”, she thought while checking the coordinates on her monitor. “Looks peaceful enough to land on...” With that, Lyloo began the descent. Soon, the fighter landed safely on a small clearing among the wild trees of a deep forest. Lyloo opened the top of the cockpit and breathed in the stiff air of the jungle. “Hmm...”, she sighed. “Nice place.” With one hop she was on the humid ground. It was still early morning on this side of the planet, the sun slowly rising above the trees. Lyloo found this untamed natural environment beautiful. A happy smile spread across her face as she reached back into the cockpit to take her nearly empty water-bottle, her comlink and her compass. She checked her laser-lash once more before closing the roof again. Her whip was tied to her waist beneath her cloak and it’s black form was shimmering slightly in the early morning sunlight. She finally left the closed fighter ship behind to find a little creek nearby so she could fill up her bottle again before worrying about the empty fuel tanks. After about half an hour wandering around she found what she was looking for. She lowered her head to the fresh, glistening water and took a long sip, her pointy ears tilted backwards, before filling her flask. She was just about to take the compass in her hands so as not to take the wrong diraction back to the fighter, when all of a sudden the quiet of the forest got shattered by a tremendous roar. Wincing at the sound, Lyloo cocked her ears, trying to make out the diraction the sound came from... “Oh no...Not from the ship!”, she gasped and without thinking any further leaped away from the little creek, running as fast as she could to get back to the Ricochet. The sight that greeted her took her breath away. There was a huge, brown furred beast sniffing around the lonely fighter on the clearing, apparently disturbed by the presence of the unknown object. It was grunting and growling audibly, moving in circles around the small spaceship, examening it with loud snorts. Lyloo trembled as she caught glimpse at the snout of the creature, seeing it’s big white fangs and blazing yellow eyes...She was looking at a mighty karrabac beast, one of the major predators of the planet. Lyloo did not know anything about this creature, but she instinctively felt the urge of getting away from the spot, leaving the enraged beast as far behind as possible...but what about the Ricochet?! It wasn’t her own ship, it belonged to her friend. What would she say to him if she’d return it with dents all around it? Further more, how would she ever get home again if that thing would damage the ship? Lyloo’s heart jumped at the thought. She needed to do something, anything to lure the creature away from the fighter...but what? Her mind raced franticly as she saw the beast slamming one huge paw against the side of the ship. She had the feeling even her lash wouldn’t be enough against this beast, but she just had to try... Swallowing hard to suppress her fear, she launched at the creature with all her speed, shouting a loud battle cry while doing so...The beast swirled around at the sound, seeing the dazzling green light of the laser-lash coming towards him. It jumped away swiftly from the way, surprising Lyloo with the fast motion. Despite of it’s big size, the karrabac had shockingly swift movement. Within moments, it was all over Lyloo who could hardly keep up with the fast strikes of the massive paws and razorsharp teeth. Her lash flew, spinning rapidly around her, scorching and cutting through the karrabac’s fur and meat wherever it reached it...but this beast was unusually strong. Every blow it received from Lyloo only enraged him further, increasing the intensity of it’s dangerous attacks... Lyloo had no choice but to back away from it, but suddenly she had no more room to move away further as she found herself colliding with the side of the Ricochet as she moved backwards to avoid the creature’s fangs. She was cornered, nowhere else to go. As the beast launched at her again, wanting to tear her apart in that very spot, Lyloo only had enough time to duck out of the way and roll under the hull of the fighter which was standing a few feet above the ground. The karrabac was too big to fit under the ship...but his strong legs still could. Lyloo was horrified as one of those giant paws landed only a few inches away from her, the massive talons digging deep into the ground. Lyloo couldn’t help but letting out a terrified cry. A shriek that could be heard from far away... 	(YAY, hey there catgirl! Also, Kressh, its totally fine if you make my character talk, etc., just don't take any bold steps. ) Despairus was about to reply when he heard a fant cry. He jerked himself and looked around, "Ameru, did you hear that?" Ameru looked up at Despairus slightly confused, "What?" "I heard someone!" Despairus quickly grabbed his blaster and strided outside the door. He stood there listening, at first everything was silent and he almost thought he was wrong of what he had heard, but then he heard it again. "Someones in trouble!" Despairus snapped. And started to run into the forest followed by Ameru. Only a few mintues and the young Kaleesh stopped and turned around, seeing his friend to be slightly lagging behind. "Don't tell me your getting that old!" He laughed, then turned back in shock. There, was a fairly nice ship with a Karrabac seeming to be pushing and scrapping at it. Looking more closely, Despairus could tell a small figure under there, he couldn't see well enough to get a full discription on the stranger, but it was a girl by guess. "Well...." He grummbled, "What to do..." (Sorry for my awful spelling! Ameru growled at Despairus's chide, but he caught up finally to the younger Kaleesh, just in time to see a frigthened young felinoid(sp?) cowered under a ship, a huge karrabac stomping on the ground in front of her... Despairus stood, not sure what to do, when Ameru yelled at the top of his lungs to try and draw the beast away from the hapless feline...then it turned its attention to the two Kaleesh... 	"Good idea." Despairus commented. Then Quickly as he could, Despairus pulled out his blaster and shot at the raging creature. Luckly it hit a few times on its shoulder and it made a jerky stop in pain. Then shaking it over it slowly started to come again, scrapping the ground with pure anger at the two Kaleesh warriors. Pulling it out, the older Kaleesh couldn't see how it would stop the rampaging beast, but then, a flash caught the corner of his eye, the beast stopped and reared up once more, its huge frame turning around to face something else that Ameru couldn't quite see from his field of vision... 	(Hehey! Neat pass there Kressh! Awesome tag! ) Lyloo was in deep trouble now. She couldn’t do anything else from her current situation but trying to avoid those large talons from ripping her apart. She closed her eyes tightly as the beast reared up once more for his next strike... Suddenly, the motion was interrupted by a loud cry coming from the edge of the trees. Lyloo raised her head in surprise. She saw two figures standing in the shelter of the mighty forest, but she couldn’t fully make out their forms as her field of view was greatly disturbed by the hull of the ship and the furry body of the karrabac...All of a sudden, the creature payed no more attention to his earlier prey. It whirled around, heading straight for the people hiding in the shadows of the trees. Lyloo’s heart jumped with fear. It was obvious to her that whoever gave out that cry wanted to lure the beast away from her...well, it worked too well! Now having the chance to get out from under the fighter, Lyloo’s tension eased somewhat. She quickly crawled out into the open and was on her feet in no time. She heard shots coming from the forest and she saw the beast stopping short in it’s track, bellowing loudly in pain. She could clearly make out the effect this had on the creature...it’s rage swelling greatly at the sustained injuries. It was about to jump at the two figures, gritting it’s razorsharp teeth... Lyloo acted before even realising what she was doing. She launched at the karrabac from behind, jumping high into the air, bringing her blazing lash down with a loud clash. The karrabac writhed in pain as the laser left a long scorched wound on it’s back. The beast turned it’s big snout towards the Sphinx, growling ferociously. 	Seeing the dazzling display, Ameru didn't know what to make of the strange visitor battling the karrabac..Gods, no fear! This one's a warrior, no doubt! He watched the young felinoid circle the creature, whipping a laser lash in the air, the green flashes glowed in the older Kaleesh's eyes.. But he could see that the beast was beyond the point of rational action, its injuries turning it into a raging, desperate beast which was nearly out of control... The creatures stopped wide eyed and looked angirly at Despairus. Then with a moan it toppled over, and the stranger flew off. But just a fast landed gracefully down.
