Poof has a love-hate relationship with the Saga. On the one hand, it’s where he has his shinning moments as a Jedi Knight on the Jedi Council. On the other hand, he dies during the Saga era, and that wasn’t much fun at all.

Never, throughout the tenure of their friendship, had he heard Padmé sound so defeated…so lost. “It’s your exhaustion talking. With some rest...” “Rest isn’t going to change how I feel, Anakin,” Padmé said with a hint of anger in her voice. “I think though that the time has come for me to step…” ~~~~~~~~ Why, oh why! won't fate let anyone finish their sentences!!? The only one that seems to have escaped is Obi-wan... and he's all torn between his 'laaaady' and the order.. Great chapter. Very dramatic. I feel the story is speeding up towards something. I especially liked the A/P parts. Your Anakin is very sweet. 	This is getting better and better... So Gunray got off eh? Bloody lawyers...no offense to anyone here that is one of course! And Anakin and Padme seem to be growing much closer, I'm looking forward to seeing that relationship continue to grow. So Obi-Wan may be taking on a Padawan? That'll be interesting to see at the least, could we be seeing a rivalry between Anakin and Jaden? And Siri knows about him being married! Did I miss something?! I most likely did...oh well, puts an interesting twist into things at least... I'm looking forward to seeing the Jango plotline develop more as well, he's a pretty cool character. And now the Angel Queen has taken severe damage and is about to crash land...sabotage perhaps? I only have one complaint and that's the word Naboovian. Wouldn't Nubian sound better? Just a suggestion... 	Incredible chapter Rev! One of the things I liked best about it is how we got right into Padmé's head. For once she was not being the queen or the lover or the wife or the mother. She was herself. Right there in the moment, she was angry, hurt, sad, afraid, and defeated. I loved it. Honestly, she came to life for me there in a way she never really has before. You've acomplished a wonderful characterization in a very dynamic manner: The world had turned to red. The fury within had clenched her heart, setting it ablaze while her anger threatened to consume her very being. Padmé stormed out of the courtroom amidst the sound of cheers and hisses. The verdict was in. Not guilty. She had failed. I love the way you blended color, motion and sound. Just - really superb! ( the artist in me reacts strongly to that kind of thing) The flashback was great as we get a chance to see what led up to this. I was really upset for her! I feel for Obi-Wan and I'm fascinated with Jango's thoughts here. Uhm... yes, Jango's thoughts are very interesting indeed... Oh -and Nute Gunray is a reptile. I just love where you are taking A&P's relationship! And now they're going to be stranded! I hope everyone makes it ok! Sorry if I've missed anything! You were willing to give up your life for the freedom of people you’ve never even met.” He paused, his features then slightly darkened. “The Viceroy and his cronies only care about themselves and how much they can take.” “You heard the lawyer, Anakin; I did not possess the knowledge or the experience to lead that fight,” Padmé said, slightly backing away from him. “In fact, you should be angered that I thoughtlessly placed your life in jeopardy.” “I would follow you into the volcanoes of Sullust if you asked it of me,” Anakin resolutely professed moving his hands onto the sides of her shoulders. Of course, if it's an uninhabited planet, and they're stranded and all alone... “You were hardly in the position to lead an offensive,” the attorney barked in response. “Your actions were unwarranted and worst of all, they were irresponsible.” Argh! That evil lawyer. Poor Padme. She did the only thing she could do, and she saved her people. “Because,” Anakin whispered, his roguish grin steadily increasing. “Tell me,” Padmé sweetly prodded, feeling the corners of her mouth curling into a smile. “Because,” he repeated, shifting his weight. “I’m in…. “Your Highness!” Sabé called out. Nooooo!!! Talk about bad timing. My heart really went out to Obi-Wan, too, trying to find the answer to remaining faithful to both his wife and the Order. Jango was a parent, although not by traditional means. His child was his genetic copy, right down to his penchant for finding trouble. At times he wondered why he made the decision that had brought Boba into his life. Maybe it was the loneliness of his chosen profession finally getting the better of him? Or, quite possibly, it might be the fact that he would never love another woman for the remainder of his life. Only she would have been worthy to give birth to his true offspring. Hmmm...Now that's an interesting little tidbit of information. But, again, about that cliffie. E-VIL!!!! 	My deepest apologies for not having the time to adequately review the chapters that I just finished reading in a big sitting. I admit that I have not read the Naboo Chronicles, but my search for powerful, Queen-like Padme stories led me here, and I see that I have found something golden. I love the intricacy of your plot (though I need to do some research to understand it all), the romance, and the massive ensemble I'm rolling in. It is wonderful to see the characters in such a unique and bold plot, all acting in a way I had hoped for. I love it. Much applause to you, Rev, and please add me to your pm list. I hope to find the time to read the Naboo Chronicles at some point, but for now I'll just try to surmise what has happened and go from there. -----signature----- You can learn a lot about things if you just step back and look. Well, doesn't everyone have their own set of troubles in this chapter? Yes and they are only beginnning. He's one of the many underutilized characters and it has been fun exploring his persona. As for the Angel Queen, it wasn't sabotage; however, we will learn soon what caused the accident. I only have one complaint and that's the word Naboovian. Wouldn't Nubian sound better? Just a suggestion... I appreciate the suggestion. However, the word Nubian refers to a group of people from Nubia, which is another GFFA planet so I wanted to make that distinction. Thanks so much for reading! My original goal was to change one event and then let everything and everyone fall where they will. Along the way, I've also gotten interested in some of the other peripheral characters, as well as a few homegrown ones as well. I wanted to tell a story that was different, but with all the recognizable elements still relatively intact. Plus, I love plot twists so I enjoy keeping my readers in suspense.
