awesome chapter..again.
Leia could not explain what happened next, but it was as if someone was literally tearing her apart. That death itself had taken hold of her and the screams and cries of those on the planet bellow surrounded her. It was the most agonizing experience of her life and as it subsided her focus came back to monitor. Alderaan was gone.
This must have been worse for Leia then in the original movie. Did Vader catch her reaction and will he ponder more about her force abilities?
How will the princess react to Han the next time? Both the younger and the ghost.
You've got me hooked on this story.

 Holy smokes! The emotion at the end of that post was just so... vivid!
Wow, I'm speechless.
I adored Qui-Gon's intervention, Han stepping through Vader and seeing the images and thoughts of his past - he now knows Padmé's name  ooo, makes me wonder how that one is going to affect the future - of it Han will keep his peace.
The interrogation and the dream sequences were wonderfully done, but I think your use of the Canon moment at the end and the meaning and worth, the emotion, you packed into it eclipsed everything. Explaining Leia's bravado as actual gumption due to the knowledge that she wasn't going to die was brilliant.
I loved this post... and yes, I know I said speechless, but hey, my fingers can move

Wow! What a powerful chapter. I can't believe Qui-Gon desperately appeared to Vader(Anakin). That was a shocker, but needed if Leia was to live.
Alderaan is gone. Vader's identity revealed to Han. Another secret for him to keep. That's gotta be hard.
You've definitely got an engaging story going here. You have the Han-Leia relationship progressing in the dream world, even if they cannot touch in reality. I'm a still wondering what will happen when the real(younger) Han shows up?
Also, what of our mystery? When do we get another clue to our assassin's identity?
Hook me up Irish!

I-I will – oh,” she gasped at his kisses and felt his hand release her wrist only to brush down the side of her exposed ribs, tickling her in the process.
Suddenly, he walked away leaving her in a state of total frustration as all of her senses were heightened and prepared for a kiss. She opened her eyes and looked down the street to see him nonchalantly strolling along.
“You’re mean,” she shouted out, giving herself another moment to cool off before catching up to him.
Of course, he had a devilish grin on his face once he saw she was next to him. “Just warming you up, Sweetheart.”
“Watch it, hot shot, or you might overcook your welcome,” she said sternly before allowing a smile to appear.
 Fabulous exchange. I just love them together. Always have, always will.
Go Qui Gon Go!! I didn't think he was gonna do anything. That was a pleasant surprise.
Now that Han knows I wonder what's going to happen when this is all over and he's waking up in Jabba's palace? When he goes back into his body does the hybernation sickness take away his memory that Anakin is Vader? 
Oh and by the way, I'm still saying this story is canon and that all of this really happened. You'll never make me believe otherwise, I'm just saying. [face-grin]

Wow. I hadn’t even thought about her increased Force sensitivity and how it would affect her during the destruction of Alderaan! Good call, Leah. Now the cat is definitely out of the bag with Vader, though, I’m afraid. *frowns* That can not be a good thing.
Even less a good thing is the confrontation that Leia and Han have before them. And meeting him as his younger not so wise self might be really, really tough. Will he still get to be near her as a ghost after she ‘meets’ him? And will Luke be able to see him or just on occasion? Can’t wait to see where you take this!

I've been lurking... but now I'm DE-lurking just to tell you how much I love this story! It's my absolute favorite story right now!! I love the interaction between Han and Leia. I'm dying to find out what happens when Leia talks to Han after what happened with Alderaan! Pleeeeeease update soon!
