	Fanfic Challenge “The Seven Virtues” Title: Waiting for Kindness Rating: G Characters: Vader, Palpatine,Breha,Leia Summary: Even the Sith have virtues. Disclaimer: i don't own Star Wars I don't know why the speech thingys have come up as ? it's the site not me doing it. “ Patience my young apprentice.” Patience! Patience! Always patience!!! He thought angrily, he’s no better than Obi-wan! Vader knelt before His Emperor in the Imperial Palace Throne Room. “ In time the traitors will expose their identities. We must watch them and wait.” I’m tired of waiting. I am always waiting. The Emperor tapped his fingers on his armrest. “ Ah yes, you are still reckless. I would of thought you’d learnt you’re lesson on Mustafar. Do you know how many years I waited for the destruction of the Jedi? For you to discover you’re destiny? I was planing our revenge before you were born.” Vader remained silent. “ You will go to Alderaan and oversee negotiations. Watch Senator Organa closely. We will ensnare him with his own treachery.” “ Yes My master,” Vader rose and left. * * * Vader had never liked negotiating. I was a wast of time, energy and words. It was especially wasteful when one of the parties was being dishonest and trying to hide it by stretching out the arguments. Organa was hiding something he could sense it. Vader left the conference table certain that if he returned an hour later the negotiations would be at the same stage. He walked out into the place courtyard. In the centre of the courtyard the Queen was seated on a cushion, the young Princess playing at her feet.She looked up and turned pale. Vader strode towards her and bowed slightly. “ You’re Highness, how is the Princess?” “ S-she is well. She has just cut her first tooth.” The Princess crawled over to his feet and began hitting his boots with her fists. Vader reached down and lifted the child up to examine her. She was chubby with wispy brown hair and rosy cheeks. She looked hearty but he knew he could crush the life out of her with ease. He could sense the Queens fear. He gave the child back to her. “ When is the Princesses next naming day?” “ It is only nine weeks away.” She tried to smile but it looked more like a grimace. Vader nodded and was about to leave when she called out. “W-would you like to come Lord Vader?” He was surprised by the invitation. People did not invite Darth Vader to parties unless they were ordered to. He thought for a moment. “ Yes I would. Thank you, ” the words sounding odd even to himself. 	Ooh, ooh! Mixed feelings! It was kinda' scary when Vader was looking at Leia, and sweet of Breha for inviting Vader. Though it was almost kind of reckless of her because Vader might realize who Leia is.
