Hi everyone - This fic is dedicated to my three angels, jmsbndgrl, HandmaidenVeme and Amidala66, without them, I would never have had a chance to writing this. And this will have an ULTIMATE version, for obvious reasons. 
Nobody wants to be lonely
Chapter One
The intractably, splendiferous bludgeoning of Padme’s benevolent heart, ruptured her indestructible barricade, and instigated a rancorous wave of anxiety, to inundate her body, whilst she lovingly maneuvered her finger over the ornament in her palm. The attractive senator’s chocolate orbs, conspicuously concealed the capricious pain, that perilously coursed through her veins, as she meticulously scrutinized the unequivocally intricate design on the Jappor Snippet. It therapeutic influence, sinuously fought to eradicate the reprehensibly tumultuous thoughts, which imperiously threatened to pull her into the darkened abyss.
The majestically, incomparable sunset of Coruscant, infiltrated her luxurious apartment, and bathed it in the residuals of orange light. Its magnanimous warmth, aroused Padme’s flawlessly milky flesh, as she solitarily sat on her curvaceous ivory sofa. An infectious tear defiantly escaped its incarceration, and glistened in the light, whilst gravity exerted its inevitable effect.
“Anakin…” His name involuntarily escaped her crimson lips, as she relived every moment, she had shared with him. How his masculine scent assaulted her senses, how his delectable lips tasted, as he pressed them against hers, and how his unambiguous cerulean eyes, captivated her very essence.
But, the intolerable image of an incapacitated Jedi Knight, his right arm viciously cauterized, whilst he lay unconscious in the cavernous separatist facility on Geonosis, ravenously cascaded to the forefront of her mind. What hurt most was, she was prohibited from being with him, whilst the medical specialists revaluated his condition, prior to the operation. Padme’s suave mind knew he was safe, but the unalleviated pulverizing of her heart would only cease in his presence.
“We will be leaving very shortly…” Dorme briskly walked past Padme, and caused her to impulsively press the Jappor Snippet against her chest. “My’ Lady, I have taken care of the political paperwork, regarding Naboo’s vote against the formation of the republic army. Please pack any valuable possessions that you require for the journey to Naboo.”
Padme indiscernibly stole a glimpse of the delicate ornament, held tightly in her hands, whilst it shimmered in the scintillating golden haze.
My valuable possession is with me.
Dorme abruptly halted her movement, and methodically studied the reputable Senator; her notoriously quiet demeanor, was extremely unorthodox for her. The loyal handmaiden tentatively approached the beautiful former queen, and gently sat beside her.
“Is everything alright my’ Lady?” She asked with genuine concern, as Padme reluctantly forced a diplomatic smile. “Something appears to be occupying your thoughts.” She stated conclusively.
“I’m worried for our people.” Padme replied; her guilty brown eyes courageously looked at her personal bodyguard, in an effort to obliterate any seeds of doubt. “This war is going to have a calamitous affect on our peaceful planet. I just don’t see how our way of life can be preserved, without us paying a heavy price.”
Dorme was slightly surprised with the disheartened tone; it was uncharacteristic for Padme to take such a submissive attitude. It was irrefutable; something else was occupying her thoughts. However, she felt uncomfortable inquiring about it, the noble Senator would have told her already, if she had wished.
“Naboo, and its people have always been strong in the face of adversity my’ Lady. And since I remember, you have always stood in the way of intolerance, and injustice.” Dorme’s expressive eyes praised the righteous Senator. “It will be a testing time for all of us, but…”
“I guess even I need reassurance from time to time.” Padme confessed. “Thank you.”
Dorme reciprocated with a smile of her own.
“The Jedi Knight dispatched for our journey back to Naboo, should arrive momentarily. I don’t think we should keep him waiting for too long.” Dorme stood up, and accelerated towards the bedroom to resume the packing.
“You’re right.” Padme replied.
Her heart assiduously yearned to see Anakin before she left the rambunctious capital for the tranquility of Naboo. The vasoconstriction of her arteries, and strenuous suffocating of her esophagus, ravaged her vulnerable body, as unremitting waves of trepidation devastatingly avalanched down her vertebrae. Time was running out…and Anakin was not in her arms. Padme’s impeccable rhythmic breathing was deteriorating rapidly, as her inept endeavor to regain her virtuousness, before love had corrupted her soul, failed miserably. But the love itself was pure, incorruptible, the only thing that had not been tarnished by decadence and debauchery, which had repulsively crawled out of the cesspool of society.
“My’ lady, have you informed your parents of your arrival?” Dorme called from the regal bedroom, whilst she carefully placed the neatly pressed clothes into the suitcase.
“Yes, I have!” Padme shouted back, she inwardly chastised herself for allowing her apprehension to reverberate through her words. She, a well renowned and shrewd politician, knew it was inexcusable. But that was the affect Anakin was having on her, even in his absence.
The sophisticated sensors of the apartment activated, and indicated the immanent arrival of the Jedi escort.
“It must be the Jedi who is assigned to us.” Padme stated. “Dorme, I’ll attend to him.”
“As you wish my ‘lady.” Dorme called back from across the lounge, and attentively continued with her task of packing.
The doors opened…and time stood still.
An unprecedented passion was burning fervently in Anakin’s azure orbs, as his gaze, insatiably devoured the unparalleled beauty of the most precious creature in the galaxy. Padme’s innocent chocolate eyes, and sensuous pouting lips, instantaneously instigated the systematic dissection of his well attuned senses, as she breathlessly stood before him, patiently waiting for him to take her in his muscular embrace. Their pulsating hearts, sinuously synchronized with incalculable harmony, whilst their rapidly heavy breathing, treacherously echoed throughout the quiet vicinity.
Padme vigorously forced the lump in her throat back down, the overwhelming euphoria frenetically surging through her diminutive figure, had dehabilitated her. The love vivaciously sparkled in her trembling orbs, as she meticulously excavated for the same love in Anakin’s…she found it thriving in abundance.
“My’ lady, is everything is okay?” Dorme’s voice broke the unbearable silence.
Padme rapidly spun around.
“Of course…” Padme was aching for Anakin. “Why wouldn’t it be, our Jedi protector is here.” She smiled.
Anakin politely smiled at the handmaiden.
“It’s nice to see you again.”
“Anakin, as always, it’s a pleasure. I’m sorry to put you on duty straight away, but I need to go into my apartment to gather my belongings. I won’t be long, but could you stay with Senator Amidala until I return?” Dorme asked.
“Of course my’ lady…” Anakin bowed chivalrously, and allowed the loyal handmaiden to exit the apartment.
Padme succumbed to the insurmountable pain, and embraced her true love. She closed her eyes, and nuzzled softly on his sculpted pectorals, whilst her enthusiastic palms, explored the supreme aesthetics, which protruded through his tunic.
“Oh Ani…” She pulled back, and placed a kiss on his bulging chest, before snuggling up again. “I’ve missed you so much. I don’t know how I got through these past few days without you. I don’t want to be lonely, but being without you, that’s all I feel. I love you Anakin.”
Padme realized that Anakin had not replied, but the most shocking revelation was that his arms were not around her. The gorgeous senator’s questioning eyes stared up at Anakin; his eyes were full of shame, as he looked towards the marbled floor. Suddenly it hit Padme, it hit her hard…she was so overcome with happiness, that she forgot of the horrendous physical state Dooku had left her true love in. Anakin had strategically placed his Jedi robe in a way, that his arms were concealed.
“Anakin…” Padme forced her hand through the fabric barrier, and gasped as she felt something metallic brush against her delicate fingers. She lithely glided her palm over it, and investigated it through her touch…it was a hand.
Padme gently clasped it in hers, and pulled it out. Her eyes trembled uncontrollably, whilst she conscientiously scrutinized the golden appendage.
“I’m sorry Padme, but I can’t touch you with this…with this…” Anakin gallantly incarcerated his tears. “I can’t…”
The adorable senator lovingly held his mechanical arm in her hands, and brought it to her flushed cheek. Anakin gasped, as she tenderly kissed it.
“I love you Anakin, and everything about you…everything.” Padme continued to caress her soft skin with his hand, and rejuvenated the consecrated love that flourished between them.
Anakin wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her in close.
“I love you Padme, I love you so much.” Anakin reacquainted himself with her delicious feminine scent, and acquiescently allowed it to orchestrate the brutal pounding of his heart.
The lovers pulled back, and desperately became lost in each other’s expressive eyes, whilst their yearning lips, mercifully extinguished the aggravating distance between them. The kiss was long and passionate, as pure, unadulterated waves of love, avalanched between their physical bodies, and amalgamated their souls into one.

 Wonderful beginning!
I have been waiting to see what you were up to with this story and what you ultimately decided to write. This was beautifully written. You've captured the reunion between Anakin and Padme with such emotion that I could feel it as I read it on the page. I knew the Jedi protector was going to be Anakin, but I held my breath in anticipation until Padme confirmed it.
I have always imagined Anakin eeling inadequate about his arm, and I loved that you included a scene where Padme accepts him.
I can't wait for the wedding! I know it will be a masterpiece.

Awww... poor Padme and Anakin... being away for so long, but once again! Our lovers are reunited at last!
Their love is a pure thing. 
Showing Anakin being ashamed of his *beautiful and sexy* mechanical hand was very realistic. Nice touch. That hand can do a lot of things a normal one can't...

tears are welling in my eyes as i write this. 
the love that they have for each other leapt off of the page. it was poignant when ani was ashamed of his hand and how beautifully padme dealt with it.

I was so excited that I read it too fast the first time and had to go back and read it a second time!!!! (Of course I was grinning ear to ear the entire time) I can't believe it, it's finally coming to life and I couldn't think of a better creator than you to do it.
