I just discovered this today and I have to say how completely impressed I am. I love how you get inside the obviously tormented Padme's mind and so eloquently portray her seemingly endless streams of conflicted feelings. I think often times we think of Padme as perfect and flawless, but the way you describe her and her actions make her very real and also very human. Even though this is an AU, there are many instances that showed how she had failed Anakin in Canon, which resulted in his eventual downfall. I really am enjoying this fresh perspective and look forward to more soon.

Oh my...you're right, THIS is a cliffie!
Padme and Anakin's last time together before they broke up was just so heartbreaking. The intensity of that scene was palpable.
Can't wait for more!

I like this story - I like it a lot. 
I always like stories like this that take SW and add their own little twist to them.

Great update! The flashback explained everything for me. I could visualize the torment. As for Anakin finding her, can they ever repair what's been damaged?

I know the end was brutal, but I all but started dancing in my seat at the sight of Anakin!  I have a feeling that there is more angst to come
His elegant, powerful stride is a complete opposite to my crippled condition.
Ouch! That was positively scathing my dear!
Ooh! The whole exchange between Anakin and Padme in the flashback sent shivers down my back many a time 
This was an excellent post! I would say more but I have oh so little time!

I actually was reading this at night right before I went to bed and I practically fell out of my seat when Anakin suddenly showed up  .
Man Anakin is one cold guy, I mean he must be really pissed at Padme to treat her like that and leave without giving a second glance  .
I bet he was on on planet to find that Jedi that Kaya and Padme saved but looks like he forgot him and then he'll have to come back and get him and then leave .
OMG that post just blew me away so please update soon I have to find out what happens next because you have me on the edge of my seat !!

Anakin was willing to leave everything behind on Naboo and you didn't just jump at the chance?
If Anakin was willing to face the consequences of the choices he made, you should have been as well.

Wow, that was painful to read...in a good way . I almost had to look away when Padme was saying those things to Anakin, but then I realized that if I hide my eyes, I can't find out what happens  .

Well, wouldn't you be? I mean, Padme was really harsh...poor Anakin! And after that much time, the hurt would just turn into anger, I'd imagine...what was Padme thinking?!

Be careful of what you say. Things said out of anger can never be taken back. What Padme said to Anakin was cruel and uncaring. I can't believe she would hurt him that way and it was sad to witness.
I'm sure he's just as shocked to see her as she is to see him but did she really think their reunion would be full of joy and loving embrasses?

Oh my!! Painfull, Tragic, Sad... I just love it, Padmé hurt Anakin very deeply but and the same time her feelings, maybe trying to free both of them... still so tragic and sad for the two. Keep Going, I want to know, if they see each another again, love but characters, Padme with her sadness and tumoil and Anakin so cold and cruel to her!!! what more!! PM please? see ya!

Wow!! I just started reading your story today and you are one hell of a writer!! I like all the twists to this AU Fanfic. Ani didn't go to the darkside, people found out right in the beginning their love, they both losing their lives and love, and Padme....she makes me really see another side to her. She surprised me alot. Most AU have Padme with the children and still beautiful and well, but this one shows a whole different Padme. I really like it 
This has to be your sadest chapter yet. How could Padme say all those things to Anakin? Didn't she know that they would really hurt him? He loves her and needed her love right then and there when he came home...Expelled.
When they see each other again, I was surprised about how he reacted when he saw her. But then I re-read the flashback and I understand why he did that. She really hurt him. He didn't really know how to react, so he just said what was on his minda and left.
But I believe they should sit down and talk....they need it.
Could I be added to your PM list?
Can't wait for another update!!!
