(This might not be the best thing that I have ever written, but can you give me some feedback on this.)(This is a short story.)
"The city lights looked so beautiful at night,"Bail Organa said to himself.Right now, there were adults playing a tournamnet of Sabacc at the local cantina. There were hundreds of people doing hundreds of different things right now.He clambered down the stairs and back into his bed.He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep, but he was troubled by something:a feeling of imminent death that would not only destroy him, but destroy the entire planet of Alderaan.He shuddered at the thought of the destruction of Alderaan; so peaceful and quiet,so full of life.The way it's buildings and towers gleamed in the moonlight;it's buildings and towers piercing the light-blue sky.The citizens of Alderaan had never suspected that a founding member of the Rebel Alliance was on their world.Himself,along with Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Ibis were the three founding members of the Rebellion. He was so proud on how the Rebellion was doing and he was so proud of the way Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Ibis were running the Rebel Alliance's political and military aspects. He closed his eyes and went to sleep with one final thought:how proud he was of Leia...
The Alderaanian space station contiued it's hourly orbit over Alderaan when the proximity alert sounded and one of the ensign's rushed toward the bridge to see what was coming toward them. When he finally came to the bridge, he turned the vidscreen on and saw, to his horror, that a ferocious space battle was looming overhead as the Rebellion's forces were trying to stop the Empire and their latest weapon:The Death Star. He knew that fighting the Empire's forces over Alderaan were futile so he pressed the comm switch on and spoke into it,"Everyone, evacuate as fast as possible.There will be no hope of defeating the Empire's forces and their newest weapon."All of the crew,except for a few gunners, immediately headed for their fighters and zoomed off toward a safe haven.The ensign watched to make sure that they were escaping safely and he issued one last command to the remaining personnel,"Prepare to defend Alderaan!'"Yes Sir!", the personnel responded back. The ensign watched the vidscreen intently as he knew that Alderaan would never be forgotten, and that at one time or another, this war would finally be over...
The Death Star fired it's super turbolaser and it hit their target of Alderaan.The citizens of Alderaan screamed out in pain as the turbolaser shot impacted Alderaan. And then,Alderaan was no more...Obi-Wan Kenobi felt ill as Luke Skywalker rushed to his side and asked him,"What's wrong?""I felt a great disturbance in the Force,"as "Ben" Kenobi replied.He spoke with Luke Skywalker,"As if thousands of people screamed in terror, and were suddenly silenced..."
