Okay,” Tagge said, and pulled the trigger.
Han you idiot!! You'd better hope his blaster was set on stun or something.
I hope Luke will be able to get Leia alone.
That's the only way this could end without bloodshed...maybe.
Great update

Here's the next installment.
24
She came from out of nowhere.
Leia’s red blade sprouted up in front of Han’s face, blinding him as it intercepted Tagge’s blaster bolt. Han dropped to the prone position, rolling aside and finding cover as the furious blizzard of blaster bolts was unleashed.
Her saber fanning out, Leia swatted blaster bolts into soldiers, equipment and architecture. The great lobby was awash with debris and shrapnel and smoke, and beams of energy darting this way and that. There were screams announcing surges of fear and pain—the sights and sounds of battle.
Careful not to make herself an easy target, Leia sprang about the chamber, never missing a beat and never breaking her stride as she cut down whatever soldiers and deflected whatever blaster bolts that got in her way.
She leaned to the side and jumped, executing a complete flip while bringing her lightsaber through a crisp arc that chewed through the skulls of two soldiers. She touched down only for a soldier on an overhead catwalk to fire a burst at her; she knocked the first few shots harmlessly wide, then sent the last two up above her head. The first one blew a smoldering hole in the catwalk while the second sent the soldier tumbling, dead before he even hit the ground.
A rocket launcher barked, sending its projectile screaming toward Leia. She stretched out with the Force, feeling the rocket without actually touching it, and hurled it at another throng of soldiers. The explosion sent men’s bodies and pieces of men’s bodies flying across the lobby in a loud, fiery flash.
Han took cover between or behind whatever objects he could, firing his BlasTech and picking off targets in a series of clumsy blaster exchanges that paled in comparison to the balletic grace with which Leia dispatched her foes.
More of the soldiers came to replenish their ranks, shouting orders and raising their weapons. Leia raised a hand in their direction and a wide chain of lightning coruscated from her fingertips, flowing into the soldiers as a river’s water flows into an ocean. The men howled as they were charred and then tossed and flung around like dolls, slain by Leia’s own brand of electric judgment.
Checking the safety on his blaster, a wounded soldier did his best to ignore the pain of all the lacerations that shrapnel had given him. He leveled his weapon at Leia and took careful aim. He slowly drew back on the trigger. Like any good rifleman, he was prepared to live and die for that one perfect shot...
The blaster barked.
The soldier breathed his last and expired, a plume of smoke rising from the smoking hole in his chest. Han blew on the red-hot muzzle of his BlasTech and holstered it.
A blaster bolt struck Leia in the back and sizzled its way through her shoulder. The second shot bit her on the leg and burned through her hamstring. She cried out as she fell onto her side.
“Hey. It wasn’t me,” Han offered. “How bad?”
She said nothing.
“Stealth field generator,” Tagge’s voice said, seemingly from everywhere. “Personal cloaking device. The latest technology cuts down on power consumption, and it even renders its user invisible to Force-sensitives. This is just a prototype, of course. Soon all of our assassins will have these.”
“Coward,” Leia groaned. “Fight fairly.”
“Traitors don’t deserve an honorable death,” the invisible Tagge said. “You shouldn’t have turned away from the Potentate. Or the dark side of the Force.”
Another blaster bolt streaked toward her, but at least this time she saw it coming. But she had to focus all her attention on blocking it, and none on tracking where it had come from. Slowly, wearily, deliberately, painfully, she rose to her feet. Her injured leg sent white fire through her entire body, burning her with an acidic sting accompanied by the promise of a limp that would last for weeks. Her shoulder’s complaints were just as loud, and severe enough that she would have to use her saber one-handed until she could apply some bacta. A hot meal, a warm bath and a good night’s sleep couldn’t hurt, either. That sounded good to her, actually.
Well, she thought, so much for getting out of this unscathed.
“Han,” she said. “Do something.”
“Like what?” replied Han. “Sorry I didn’t bring any thermal goggles with me, sister. The guy’s invisible.”
“We have to find him. He’s in here...somewhere.”
They crept across the lobby, scanning their surroundings, looking for anything that might give them a clue. A hint about their invisible enemy. Something. Anything.
The place was a war zone, or more accurately, the aftermath of one. The lobby had been shot to pieces, its walls and stairs and catwalks blasted with enough holes to render them utterly unrecognizable. The dead were everywhere, their scorched and perforated and dismembered bodies crumpled on the floor and folded on handrails and littering the stairwells like clutter and dirty clothes on the floor of a slob’s cheap apartment. There was smoke and ozone and even a few burning fires.
And, somewhere, the enemy was watching.
A blaster bolt seared its way toward Leia’s side but, despite her injuries, she was quick enough to stop it. Barely. Her lightsaber swatted the bolt into the floor, where it dissipated in a shower of sparks.
“Enough,” she said, thumbing off her saber and clipping it to her belt. Using the Force, she sent a message to Han—little more than a tap on the shoulder, really—telling him to get down. After a moment’s hesitation, he did.
With both arms outstretched Leia let loose a thunderstorm, overwhelming the lobby with blue light as streams of Force lightning snaked their way up stairs, across catwalks and along every surface. She was angry—downright livid—about this situation, and the angrier she got, the more powerful her lightning became, and it spread further and further.
In her Sith days she had been taught that power and anger were one and the same, and feeding one made the other stronger. She remembered gaining understanding through power, and she remembered allowing her emotions to run free instead of trying to tame them. Above all else, she remembered being
strong.
She missed it.
Before long, the lightning storm found its mark. Tagge screamed as the electric judgment enveloped him, revealing his silhouette and overloading his cloaking generator. Her enemy revealed, Leia wasted no time redirecting all the lightning at Tagge.
Into
Tagge.
His body was broken down, ravaged at the cellular and molecular level in every possible way that cells and molecules could be ravaged, and even in some ways that were thought to be impossible. Tagge’s pain was so great that it left a stain in the Force, in a manner akin to the way red Corellian wine would stain a carpet. His screams continued for a few moments even after his body was disintegrated. The screams were primordial, and they were terrifying, and they were blood-curdling, and they were...interesting.
Leia smiled.
“Let’s go, Han,” she said softly. “It’s time to finish what we started.”

Well Tagge learned one thing, don't make a Force-sensitive and one with the know how to make use of the Force livid as it was not the brightest idea. Well at least Leia is still around along with Han to keep tabs on her. Wonder what happens now.
Good update, thanks for the pm and look forward to more

Very intense action there.
I loved seeing Leia come to Han's rescue for a change.
“Let’s go, Han,” she said softly. “It’s time to finish what we started.”
Great update

Next installment!!
25
“They’re here,” Motti said as he scanned a security hologram and wiped the sweat from his pale face. “General Tagge has been killed. Along with our perimeter guard. One hundred percent casualties. A massacre. Your sister has grown powerful, just as the Potentate has foreseen.”
“Of course,” Luke said evenly. “It’s all my fault. I introduced her to the dark side. I showed her powers that she never knew she had. I taught her everything she knows about the true nature of the Force. She means business. But who knows where her allegiance lies right now? It’s anyone’s guess. She’s a complete wild card.”
Motti was breathing hard. “We barely have any troops left to throw at her. She’d shear them like nerfs anyway.”
Pregnant with thought, Luke stood and considered his options. “I’ll go,” he offered. “She’s on a rampage. I have to try and talk some sense into her. Some innocent people might get hurt if she continues like this. She came here for me. I’ll give her what she wants.”
The combat information center’s main hatch cycled open, spilling a little bit of light into the pitch-black corridors beyond. Luke figured he’d spend a few minutes wandering through the dark labyrinth, playing cat-and-mouse with his sister and alternating roles between hunter and hunted. But it didn’t turn out that way.
She was already there.
Luke’s hands were trembling as he stood in the dark hallway and faced his sister. He was amazed, intrigued, disgusted, and terrified by what she had become.
In the Force, Leia was a chaotic and unpredictable presence. A churning, flickering maelstrom that constantly alternated between light and dark. It made sense: she probably didn’t even know how to feel. The murder of her unborn children, her tenure with the Sith, the death of Obi-Wan and her parents, and dealing with her brother’s descent into and return from the dark side all combined into one confusing, infuriating, nerve-throbbing mess inside her mind.
Surely she knew it was wrong to feed her negative emotions—and thus feed the dark side—but she must have liked how safe and secure all the anger and darkness made her feel.
He knew there would be no reasoning with her. Not in the troubled state she was in. And there would be no using the Force to dissuade her; she had grown far too powerful for that. She had come here to kill him, and her swift slaughter of the guards proved that no display of brute strength would do anything to change her mind.
Her lightsaber was up, and purple lightning was crackling over the outline of her free hand. Luke had no desire to fight his sister, but he wasn’t ready to simply lie down and die, either. There was still a lot of work to be done in this galaxy, a lot of problems that needed fixing, and he was the man for it. There was no one else.
Only he could handle it.
Luke stood his ground. Snapping into a defensive stance, he centered on her as his father’s green saber crackled to life in his grip. From the onset, Luke understood that this fight wouldn’t be a charade, wouldn’t be a dance, wouldn’t be a cutesy little sparring session.
His sister was out for blood.
Wailing like a Togrutan banshee, Leia attacked with bloodlust in her eyes and a fiery, demonic passion in her movements. She spun, fanning out her saber with one hand and hurling purple forks of lightning with the other, whipping and twirling until the Force lightning combined with her lightsaber to create a single whirling vortex of lethal energy. It expanded out farther and farther, and before long Luke was running out of places to run. He would die if he stood still.
It was time to press the offensive.
Stretching out to the Force, Luke bolted to a wall, ran straight up it and jumped off, flipping through the air until he was upside down above Leia’s head. He stabbed his saber straight down, hoping to nick Leia’s shoulder, cut off a finger or two or otherwise inflict a minor wound that would still be painful enough to knock some sense back into her and take her out of the fight.
His blade grazed the back of her sword hand, burning a little glowing orange streak behind her knuckles. She growled like the wounded lioness that she was and dropped her saber, and suddenly
she
was in the air too, and both her boots made a rather unfriendly communion with Luke’s chest.
Luke’s body rocketed across the chamber, smashing completely through one of the catwalks high above, snapping the walkway like brittle wood, and fell straight down to the floor. He put a hand over his cracked ribs and spat blood and sat up and Leia was
already
there, having swapped sword hands and ready to finalize her kill.
He was done playing it safe.
After letting loose an angry yelp, Luke lunged upwards with a thundering underhand, battering Leia’s saber aside and popping her in the face with his elbow. She stumbled back, twin rivulets of blood dripping from her nose. Now it was Luke who was forcing Leia to give ground, smashing her blade with overhands and sideswipes.
A corner swallowed up Leia’s backside, and misfortune knocked her saber out of her grip completely. Luke’s blade terminated only three centimeters from her throat, and after a tense moment he thumbed his saber off.
“I’m not your enemy, Leia. I’m your brother.”
She looked at him. Something seemed to snap in her mind. It could have been confusion, disappointment, or both. But when she jumped into his arms, hugged him tightly, sobbed softly and told him how sorry she was, Luke knew that it was over.
“He was in my head,” Leia said. “He told me to do things…I couldn’t fight it…I tried so hard…”
“Who?” Luke asked, wiping tears from his sister’s face. “Who told you to do all the things you did?”
In a single sweep, the ceiling—and the hundreds of meters of rock on top of it—was torn from overhead and sent flying up into the sky. Curiously, the sky was no longer the bluish-green that normally surrounded Byss, but was a sickly shade of yellow. Meteors, flames and acid rain streaked toward the ground and pelted the surface.
Apparently coming from nowhere, Shyft dropped through the new opening and landed in a crouch. He rose slowly. “It was me.”
“You!”
Luke yelled as his lightsaber ignited with an energetic
whoosh
. “I should have known you were behind all this.”
“I knew you’d be looking for me,” the Potentate wheezed through his yellow fangs. “You Skywalkers disappoint me. You always bring me the potential for the very best violence—and it always collapses right before delivering.”
“We’re not here for your entertainment,” Luke said. “I think you’ve worn out your welcome in this galaxy.”
Shyft growled and spat black oil. “You’re too late, boy. My midi-chlorians were almost completely depleted. I was forced to destroy all life on the planet’s surface and absorb its energy. I’m more powerful now than ever.”
Luke narrowed his eyes. “You...you killed an entire planet? You really are a monster.”
“It’s nothing you haven’t done before, Lord Pejorus. Or have you forgotten all the atrocities you committed as my servant?”
“I can never be forgiven for that. But I’m trying to do better. If I have to die to stop you, so be it.”
A snarl crawled out from Shyft’s chapped lips, and more black oil oozed its way out. “You could work for me again. Have a new future. A clean slate for you and your sister. You could fulfill your destiny as the Sith Lord you were always meant to be.”
“Never. I was a fool to join you. I was a fool to try converting my sister. I’ll never make that mistake again. You’ve failed, Potentate. I am a Jedi, like my father before me. And I’ll die as one.”
Shyft made a fist, and the whole world began to fall apart. “So be it, Jedi.”

Well at least Luke got Leia's rampage to stop and seemed to cure her chaotic mind. Too bad that victory appears to be short lived since Shyft decided to reappear and causing havok for Luke and good chance Leia as well, though we don't know what she is thinking at the moment
Good update, thanks for the pm and look forward to more
