Wow! This is such a satisfying story! Anakin's New Jedi Order--what a twist! I hope Obi-Wan goes with him. I appreciate your sharing your writing talent with us and look forward to seeing where you go with this.

First off never worry about having to take some time away to deal with real life, secondly your readers will always be interested in this story- it is fantastic. Absolutely amazing update, Anakin sure did drop a bomb on the council - only time will tell what will come about from it.

Yoda watched the young Jedi and his wife leave. There was no surprise on his ancient face. There was no expression written there at all.
Could he be in shock?
Yoda's reaction has me worried for some reason...

Oh boy! That was some update. So will Obi-wan be joining his Friend, and will he and Anakin ever inform the Council of what the Force showed him? I can hear Mace now: WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE WAS CREATED BY A SITH LORD!?!
As to my last post, I haven't had surgery yet, cause the doctors are still arguing over what's actually wrong with me, and now I find out I have an additional problem that may also have to be operated on. I hate doctors.

Hey great story, just caught up on the reading now. I've read a few similar stories but this one is by far the best.
It actually had me enticed and anxious to find out what's coming next, which the other stories did't. I feel that this actually distinguishes a good story and writer from a mediocre one. I'm not insulting other authers, I'm just praising this one. If this was a book I wouldn't be able to put it down. Continue with the good work. Hope you find the time to.

Some shatterpoint indeed! Though I understand completely where Anakin is coming from. The reason the Jedi were able to be defeated in ROTS is for the very reasons you had Anakin telling the galaxy. Awesome job so far!

I know how RL can keep you busy and writer's block on certin stories can happen as well. Take you're time write more when you can and if you find you can't you did leave the story at a good drop off point.
I really enjoyed this last part Anakin making his own order of jedi didn't see that coming but happy he has taken the clones with him so they won't be punished for something that itsn't their faults.

Well, more real life news. This year I'm starting Graduate School. And I'm moving onto residence. It just seems that a lot of lightning changes have been happening during this time. But, let me just see if I can continue this a little bit more.
*****
"The Senate is already asking us where the clones have gone."
The exasperation in Mace Windu's voice was very apparent. Obi-Wan rubbed the pit of his forehead, and wondered when the bleariness in his eyes would disappear.
"It's as Anakin said, Mace -- the garrisons on all the worlds have been disbanded. Hopefully the local planetary defenses will be enough to --"
"It's gone far beyond that," the Korun Jedi Master sighed, "blast it, Obi-Wan. It's that same Skywalker recklessness all over again."
Obi-Wan looked very tired, "What else is new?"
"But it's gone far beyond. Far beyond that," Mace Windu paced around the private chamber that the two of them were in, "It is completely insane. The Senate was worried that the clones would turn on the Republic, and along comes Skywalker who takes command of all of them and moves them to a location we don't even know about. Relations with the Senate are still very much strained and then this ..."
"Bail Organa will hopefully set things to rights when he wins the Chancellorship. He is our strongest supporter," Obi-Wan stroked his beard, "and as for the Senate, it will be very busy dealing with the damage done to their own image, negotiations with the former Separatist worlds, and the rest of the chaos Palpatine left us all."
"Including the problem of the clones!" Mace Windu's jaw clenched, "Doesn't Anakin understand how makes us look?"
"You heard him that day, Mace. He is no longer part of the Order."
"And that is even worse. Obi-Wan, we can't even sense where the clones are."
Obi-Wan considered, "He must be masking them."
"And the fact that he is powerful enough to do that disturbs me. Should in fact disturb us greatly."
"What are you saying, Master Windu."
"I ..." for once Mace Windu seemed at a loss for words, "Obi-Wan, ever since Anakin's speech at the Temple quite a few of our ranks left with him."
"Including Depa."
The Korun Jedi Master decided not to respond to that comment, "Our ranks have already been depleted by the War, and now we're being divided. It's just like ... another Great Schism."
Obi-Wan's feature's remained neutral, but his eyes turned stony, "Master Windu ..."
"Come on, Obi-Wan! He has the most powerful army in existence since Ruusan under his direct command, and at least half of our Masters and Knights, and the Padawans that chose to join them. He is recruiting people beyond the age limit. He has completely ignored our Code, even discarded it, and he is beyond our influence. And then, we find out that the Sith made --"
Obi-Wan stood up, "I would not complete that sentence if I were you, Master Windu."
"Enough."
The two Councilors turned as Master Yoda hobbled into the room. The ancient Grand Master looked at both of them sternly.
"Solve this issue anger will not. Saved your Padawan, Anakin did Mace. Dark, he is not," Yoda sat down in a nearby chair, "Saved you, he did already before if remember you do not."
The Korun Jedi Master's words seemed to catch in his throat. Then his features softened, "Master Kenobi. Forgive me."
Obi-Wan sighed, "No forgiveness is required, Mace. This has been a very trying time for us all."
"Talk to your old Padawan, you must Master Kenobi. This information you will need as more difficult times come."
Both Mace Windu and Obi-Wan turned to the Jedi Grand Master, having caught a strange tone in the other's voice.
"Master?"
Yoda sighed, "Always in motion, the future is. Change with it, we must. With it, I must. Soon, my own announcement to the Council I will make," his large eyes looked keenly at them through his ancient face, "resign as Jedi Grand Master, I shall soon."
There was complete and utter silence in the chamber.
"Master Yoda?"
"Heard correctly, you did Masters," Yoda's voice softened, "do well, you both will in these coming times."
"But Master, we --" Mace Windu's voice broke, "At this time ..."
"Need me, you no longer do."
"But Master Yoda," Obi-Wan's face was aghast, "that is not true."
"New, younger leadership the Council needs now. A fresh mind, a fresh eye, always necessary they are. Into retirement, I will go. Meditate on the mysteries of the Force, I will now," Yoda smiled, "In peace, I was born. In peace, I will now return."
Yoda got up, and the other two Jedi bowed. The Grand Master walked over to Mace Windu first.
"Mace," he spoke softly, "convene a special session of the Council, you will soon. Predict I do that you will be Grand Master. Lead well, will you. Hard you have always been, my old Padawan. But more flexible, more open will you become as you take your destiny. Remember -- hardness breaks, but the willow reed always bends to come up again.
"Obi-Wan, talk we will soon. Dreams, we must discuss."
The ancient Master winked, and Obi-Wan wondered what he meant. Dreams ... And then he saw the bearded figure of Qui-Gon Jinn in his mind's eye. Yoda seemed to understand this, and he smiled at the younger Master. Then he turned, and finally left.

Wow, what an update! Yoda retiring, Anakin recruiting more sensitives, and Mace worried about another Great Schism? I think that Yoda (as always) knows far more than he's letting on!
Great arguement between Obi-Wan and Mace. I could see it playing out perfectly!
Only time will tell what will happen here!
Good luck with everything going on in RL. Sounds like you may need it!

Thanks Darth_Leia_6669. Yeah, everything's been all hectic a bit here. And yes, this will be most interesting if I can see it through. To the bitter end.
