Ye ow! Wonderful action, and drama going on. I am looking forward to Anakin's fight with the evil Palpatine, errr, Darth Sidious. I hope there's something of a happy ending, although not too happy!

Whoa - that was intense!
I can only hope Obi-Wan will dispense of Dooku as quickly as he did Grievous and go to Anakin's aid.
Of course, that would leave no one to protect Padme...
Great update

I liked how Grievous appeared from nowhere, but that wasn’t as good as Dooku showing up. Kenobi certainly has his hands full! And Anakin’s determination is definitely on the spot. Well done!
Ohh, more action? I'm in!

The Hitman
Chapter Thirty
Padme’s heart assiduously pounded within her chest. Its prolific throbbing emphasized the incalculable anxiety coursing through her diminutive frame, whilst she frantically moved through the populous streets of Coruscant. Her benevolent chocolate orbs frustratingly stared past the countless beings obstructing her path, in an effort to find a quicker route to divert the danger following her. Grievous’ callous vindictive words continued to resonate into her every thought…Anakin was in danger.
The courageous senator gallantly fought to banish the atrocious images that lurked deep in her mind, images of her true love suffering at the hands of the merciless Emperor. Try as she could, she couldn’t eradicate Anakin’s lifeless cerulean eyes, whilst she watched him die in her arms. Padme gasped, and reflexively clutched her pulsating heart, as it threatened to teeter upon seizure. Throughout her professional career, the Rebel Leader had fought with such incomparable bravery, and selflessness, that even her rivals had commended her. This was a unique experience, for the first time, the fear of loss bludgeoned her soul. For the first real time, her heart was dictating her actions.
And it was because she loved Anakin more than life itself.
Padme froze and stared ahead. Two Imperial troopers, their weapons held firmly by their sides, were approaching in her direction. The diminutive beauty stealthily manoeuvred herself behind a tall humanoid couple, and meticulously studied the two clones. Her adept instincts had already confirmed that her presence had not been detected by them, and she needed to use the opportunity to escape. Padme’s unwavering brown eyes remained adamantly fixed upon her potential captors, as she perceptibly placed her hand over the laser gun hanging from her right hip.
The tactical Rebel leader easily evaded the two Imperial clones, and quickly gained speed. She needed to find Anakin at any cost, and then help Obi-Wan.
“You fools!”
Grievous’ rasping voice immediately captured Padme’s attention, causing her to look back over her shoulder. The towering monstrosity had used his superior height advantage to seek her out from the distance, and was now reprimanding the two clones that obliviously passed her by.
“Capture the target now! Failure is not an option!” He ordered ruthlessly.
Padme felt the sudden influx of adrenaline surge ferociously through her feminine body. She forcefully pushed her way past the endless mass of intergalactic beings congregating on the neon illuminated streets of Coruscant.
“Please, get out of the way!” She shouted. Padme’s thoughts briefly fell upon her dear friend Obi-Wan. Wasn’t he fighting Grievous when she left the scene? The horrific fact that the droid general had once again manifested himself made her heart sink further, and she silently prayed to the Force that the noble Jedi Master was safe.
*****
The terrified occupants of the spacious bar aggressively pushed past each other, chaotically trampling several feebly built beings, whilst they escaped into the shimmering narrow streets of Coruscant. Obi-Wan sinuously crouched, allowing Dooku’s humming scarlet blade to pass inches over his cranium. The Force harmoniously cocooned the Negotiator, and therapeutically nullified the physical damage Dooku’s devious Force push had caused to Kenobi’s respiratory organs. Obi-Wan imperceptibly flicked his wrist, parrying the crimson arc upwards, and allowing himself the opportunity to regain a vertical stance.
Dooku knowledgably sidestepped, gracefully rotating his wrist in a circular motion to thwart the calculated retaliation by the Jedi Master. Obi-Wan refused to relinquish the momentum; he shifted his weight forward into his quadriceps, lunging and adding more velocity to his strikes. Tyranus easily parried the blows, outstretching his right arm, and flicking his wrist with the minimum of effort.
Kenobi briefly thought about Padme, and the desperate situation she must been in and quietly asked the Force to protect his good friend. She was resourceful in almost every aspect, and knew how to face any type of adversity, but with so much hanging in the balance…this was their gravest hour.
“Master Kenobi.” Dooku sneered, as their blades continued to clash with pulsating energy. “Your thoughts should be here and now. Senator Amidala will be taken care of, I assure you.”
Obi-Wan sternly stared back at Dooku. The Sith lord would use any possible tactic to gain unanswerable leverage against him, and as a Jedi, it was critical that he did not give into any emotion. Kenobi tensed the sinewy tendons in his biceps and forearms, and adroitly spun to his right side, teasingly inviting Dooku to attack his lower back and spinal column. Dooku obliged with a powerful horizontal arc, sinisterly aimed at his kidneys. Obi-Wan gritted his teeth, dexterously moving the shimmering sapphire sword over his left deltoid, and intercepting the dark lord’s attack. Kenobi launched into the air, spinning around and delivering a scintillating round house kick across Dooku’s regal jaw.
The impeccable trajectory of the kick stunned Tyranus, forcing him to lose his senses for the briefest of moments. Obi-Wan quickly crouched down, and swept his opponent’s legs out from under him. Dooku felt the air violently escape his lungs, as his back and cranium thunderously hit the ground. The sickeningly tendrils of the dark side penetrated his flesh, eliminating the calamity that fleetingly surged through his muscles, and immediately alerted him to the inevitable danger. Dooku moved his lightsaber over his body, as Kenobi dove on top of him with a venomous strike. Tyranus repeatedly punched Kenobi in the damaged intercostals and diaphragm, forcing the warrior to fall beside him.
Kenobi coughed up blood. However, he had no time to concentrate upon his injuries, as Dooku’s red plasma swords moved in a shimmering red arc down towards him his jugular. Obi-Wan parried the shot, as they both lay beside each other. The two opponents synchronously exposed their palms towards one another, forcing them both skid with incredible speed across the floor in opposite directions. Dooku smashed through the legs of a capacious table, while Kenobi went straight into a large sports holoscreen, causing a plethora of vivacious sparks to erupt all around him.
*****
Padme hurriedly moved past the people, and saw an opening to her right. She ran into the darkened alley, which surprisingly was eerily quiet, and void of any possible life. Despite it looking rather unwelcoming, it was as safe a sanctuary that she could find, and it would allow her to move faster. As she continued to go further and further down the path, the boisterous noises and infectious energy of Coruscant’s night life seemed to be nothing more than a whisper in a dying wind. The courageous senator heard the familiarity of footsteps approaching rapidly from behind.
Padme noticed a large garbage disposal container placed against the side of the wall, she quickly peered over her slender shoulder, and made sure that her actions were not seen. The two Imperial troopers slowed down their pace, as they noticed the large garbage container protruding into the dark narrow alley. The diminutive beauty continued to breathe deep and heavy, whilst she pressed her back tightly against the wall. The petite slender figure was advantageous in this environment, as it helped conceal her amongst the casting shadows of Coruscant’s skyscrapers. Padme focused on attuning her hearing, and held her gun vertically parallel to the side of her face. For everything relied on absolute accurate timing.
The Clones braced their weapons, and prowled around the side of the garbage container. They saw a small object that appeared to be a woman crouched against the wall with Padme’s robe.
“You must come with us.” They stated harshly.
Padme revealed herself from a crack in the opposite wall and opened fire on the clones. Both clones fell lifelessly to the dark floor. The Rebel Alliance leader frantically looked around and continued to run through the alley. A thunderous noise forced her to halt her momentum, as Grievous jumped down in front of her, exposing his remaining two lightsabers. Padme courageously opened fire on the hunched villain, prompting him to deflect the blows.
Grievous narrowed his viper like eyes, and rapidly began spinning the shimmering emerald blades by his side, cutting a line of molten magma into the ground, whilst he dangerously walked towards Padme. The noble senator continued to shoot, determined not to succumb to the intimidating tactics of her mechanical rival. All of sudden, Padme heard the sounds of several more footsteps approaching from behind.
She looked back over her shoulder and saw that she had been surrounded by clone troopers.
“The Emperor will be pleased if you would join us.” Grievous sniggered evilly from behind his mask.
*****
Anakin utilized the stabilizer muscles in his lower lumber region, and lithely leaned back, avoiding a potent punch by an Imperial trooper. The Hitman rotated his muscular right arm under his opponent’s, and pushed it upwards, by hyper extending the deltoid and rotator cuff, forcing the clone to stand on the balls of his feet. Anakin snapped his outstretched left forearm aggressively against the exposed face of the clone, pulverizing his nose, and destroying the structural cartilage beneath. The clone screamed in agony, whilst his pupils dilated from the reprehensible pain surging through him. The Hitman crouched slightly, moving under the hyperextended arm, and standing behind him, before breaking his neck with lethal proficiency.
The clone fell amongst the several mass of bodies that the Hitman had used to pave his way to the Emperor. The blood continued to incessantly seep out through the nauseating injury near his lower abdominals, staining his bronzed flesh a viscous crimson. Anakin looked in both directions; he was approaching his destination, it didn’t matter how much blood was lost. He had been there before. He had felt the sickening lacerations that Palpatine had ruthlessly inflicted throughout his existence as a Hitman; tonight’s pain was one that he was willing to accept.
Anakin liberated his pulsating crimson blade and ran past the carnage he had created, as he continued to move forward. Three clones appeared from protrusions in the wall, and synchronously opened fire upon the bloodied gladiator. The Hitman rapidly placed both hands firmly upon the cylindrical hilt, and tensed the vascularized taut tendons of his biceps and triceps, whilst he parried the blasts back to his aggressors. A laser ricocheted against the florescent lighting and hit the first troop, forcing the others to back away. The Hitman was in no mood to hand around. He used the mystical swirls of Force caressing his muscular frame, and strengthened the lateral tendons in his quadriceps and hamstrings. Skywalker exploded forward with stunning velocity, his lightsaber moving with frighteningly devastating precision. The remaining clones fell by his feet.
Anakin bent down and picked up a laser gun. He stared at the elevator at the end of the wide hallway…it went straight up towards Sidious.
“I’m coming.”
*****
Obi-Wan somersaulted onto the bar, and elegantly maintained his impeccable balance, as he parried a torrential barrage of venomous strikes from Dooku. A sharp piece of fragmented glass had pierced through Kenobi’s creamy tunic and lacerated his upper right arm. Several thick crooked lines of blood ran down his sleeve, and drenched his right hand. Tyranus felt a disturbance in the dark side, its staggering potency almost knocking him off the bar.
It was Darth Sidious, ordering him to engage in the next step of their masterful plan.
Dooku smiled at Kenobi and jumped back off the bar, before hastily retreating out towards the neon illuminated streets of Coruscant. Kenobi was fleetingly baffled by the abrupt change in the Sith lord, and sensing that his hurried departure could only translate into bad news, ran out after him.
The Force screamed out to Kenobi, as several dozen clone troopers fired upon him. Obi-Wan heroically parried the blasts, but the surprise had taken him aback. Tyranus emerged from the shadows, and launched a powerful assault, fuelled by unmitigated hate and anger from the dark side, forcing Obi-Wan to again adopt his defensive tactics. The Jedi Master was pushed further into the street by the insurmountable barrage of attacks.
Kenobi gasped, as he lost his footing and fell into a deep hole. One that apparently had no end.
“It’s seems that’s the end of Kenobi.”
*****
The elevator opened into the Emperor’s chamber, and two lifeless crimson guards fell through, before Anakin walked out. An uneasy sensation immediately avalanched down the vertebrae of the Hitman, convulsing his rippling muscles, as the sinking feeling was now becoming painfully apparent. Sidious was not in the palace.
Anakin curled his upper lip into a snarl, and walked towards the centre of the chamber. He had felt the dark allure of the Sith Lord from the moment he had entered the capital, and had used it to hone in on his ultimate Mark, the emperor himself. However, as he stood in the darkened ambience, high above the skyscrapers of Coruscant, he knew that he stood alone.
The Hitman started opening fire, rotating slowly from his left to his right, blasting everything that stood in his path, including the Emperors’ regal throne. The veins in his sculpted forearms threatened to burst through his crimson stained skin, his rippling muscles shimmered in the light layer of sweat that encased his physique. Anakin pointed the laser gun upwards, and continued to shoot at the ceiling, as he stared at the devastated throne room.
“S-I-D-I-O-U-S-!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“As always, you’ve impressed me…” A chilling voice echoed around the room.
Anakin spun around and noticed a bluish holoimage of the Emperor staring back at him. He discarded the weapon with disgust and walked towards the hologram.
“You were my greatest weapon.” Sidious stated, as his large hood concealed his mutilated flesh. “The Hitman…a mythical legend that struck fear into the hearts of all beings. My Hitman. You belonged to me, to the dark side. And now you seek to extinguish the one who gave you life…because of a pathetic emotion.”
“Life? You gave me life?!” Anakin replied. “You took everything. Everything!”
“I took nothing from you! I only got rid of your weakness. I made you stronger; you were always a killing machine. You didn’t even have a choice.” Sidious snarled.
“You never gave me the choice! You killed my mother, poisoned my mind…blinded me with pain and hate…to serve you!” Anakin clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. “You made me a Hitman!”
“It upsets me to see you this way.” Sidious smiled. “It shows weakness, weakness for a woman whose feeble love is insignificant next to the power that I would have given you. I felt you were irreplaceable…I felt wrong. Your love for Padme will be both your undoing…she is here on Coruscant.”
“Padme…” Anakin gasped. His heart brutally pounded against his pectorals. Padme was on Coruscant, but why had he not felt it? The terrible realization hit him, just as he could not sense Sidious was not in the palace, it was the dark side surrounding him.
“I’m afraid that Padme is all alone waiting for you on an underground train heading to 500 Republica. Once the train reaches its destination, the explosives will detonate.” Sidious said. “Some one as trained in the arts as you, would know what would happen to Padme if that happened? You must hurry Hitman, if you want to save your pathetic love…And if you do survive, my new weapon will be waiting for both of you at your final destination.”
Anakin looked towards to the elevator and ran in its direction.
“Let the hunt begin…” The Emperor stated.
Anakin paused and looked back over his shoulder at Sidious.
“Don’t hunt…what you can’t kill.”

AHHH let Obi-Wan and Padme be alright!!
Anakin better hurry it up over to the 500 Republica to save Padme or Sidious might make good on his word.
I don't even want to think about who's Sidious' next "Hitman" waiting for Anakin.
Great post and thanks for the PM!

It's very... How do I say it? It draws you in.
It's unrealistic, however, in the way that Padme already knows that she's pregnant, as is the whole "make love to me" thing. It would have been more interesting if she had no idea she was pregnant.
So yeah. That's just my two cents.

I refuse to believe Obi-Wan would go down that easily
It doesn't surprise me Dooku would resort to such a desperate tactic, though.
You must hurry Hitman, if you want to save your pathetic love…And if you do survive, my new weapon will be waiting for both of you at your final destination.
Uh oh!
