Said chick became a big rooster and now we have a natural alarm-clock waking us every morning.
And they don't have a snooze button!

No and some wild roosters in our village act as alarmclocks. And even the wild birds nesting in my garden awake you before dawn beginning to feed their babybirds.

That black fluffball was inspired by a black rooster I see every morning going to work and a chick with a white eggshell as a hat.

Entry 14
Today I went with Alwin to the small town of Alladea to get supplies from the spaceport.
Alladea has a spaceport and it is not as hectic as the one in the capital. The Jeditemple sends regularly transports to their agristations and most land near the agristations but the transport Cas was expecting would be landing at Alladea spaceport.
It was a red and white Jedi transport and was carrying droids and some technical supplies. One of those supplies was at my request and it is for Alwin. And the other package is for me.
When we returned to the agristation we unpacked the two items and the Alwins face lighted up: a training lightsaber and for me one as well.
They are training-lightsabers; because the fully working sabers can only be constructed after mastering of making the components and travelling to Ilum for a lightsaber-crystal that the Jedi-apprentice will see in his quest.
I am teaching him the ways of the Jedi and lightsaberpractice is part of that. As an initiate he had those in the Jeditemple but I have a feeling that it can become handy for him if he continues the practice.

AzureAngel2 I fear Alwin will need those skills...
He uses those skills but that's after he has met other Jedi. In my diary of a firefighter and diary of an exile those stories were told in 2007.

Entry 15
A week ago we went to Alladea for the fair and some fun.
The Alladea firedepartment was giving a show and Alwin saw that and became enthralled by it.
Seeing this Firechief Mick Robi asked us to come with him to the firestation and we saw all the equipment they are using.
Alwin was asking about everything and showed his great knowledge about many items.
Mick Robi was impressed and asked him if he liked to stay for an entire shift in the firehouse.
Alwin didn’t have to think twice about that and I returned to the agristation alone.
A day later a red firetruck came to our station and the first who exited it was Alwin.
And that got us a Caf-break with exiting stories from Alwin and the firefighters.
After that we showed them the station and Alwin gave a demonstration on Nazir.

An early wake-up call from an arriving transport and by early I mean 3 in the morning and that’s before any activity like Nerf-milking is needed. Alwin was awake of course because he knew who was coming. Master Ekiway and he will take a new Nerf home for the Children’s farm. One of the old Nerfs had died and he wanted to replace her.
And it is Alwin’s birthday and I think Master Ekiway remembers that as well.
He did and Alwin got holovids and a beautiful multitool from him.
Alwin is 14 and looking younger than his age suggests.
We spent a nice time with master Ekiway telling us about the life in the Jeditemple and only the Separatist Movement is troubling me.
And the Senate is bickering as usual and the newest item on their agenda is the Militairy Creation act.
