Fun-loving SHM seeks spunky SHF for an off-the-wall epic romance or just a really good noogie. I can leap tall buildings in a single bound and have brought galactic peace to at least three anthills. I need someone just as crazy as I am. Must adore Ewoks.

Dear SWF,
Hi there! I'm the SHM (single human male or single hot male, either one works) of your dreams. I guess I'm a SWM, too, though I've never seen someone identify themselves by skin color. Oh, to be a Zeltron and be a SPM (Single Pink Male). We've got a couple of those at my work and what they lack in personality, they make up for in color sense!
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a career guy like you and I don't mean to brag, but a lot of girls think I'm a hero. There's this cute Princess who sometimes thinks I'm something special and I can get that in writing. Besides being the save-the-galaxy type, I'm a friend to animals and a wicked prankster.
I'd like to see if we can have something magical between us. I don't know how well the whole "must despise Ewoks" thing will go. I've never met one, but I hear they're cute little fuzzballs and how can those be bad?
Longingly,
SHM (You can also call me Wes)
011922ai2.doc
Hello, Wes,
I must say that I was surprised to attract someone of your caliber. I have been bombarded by missives from uptight Grand Admirals and lonely Sith Lords, but never one from a genuine hero.
I must admit to being a governmental lackey who happens to enjoy her work. I believe that it comes from having followed in my father's footsteps. This is something of a family business and I assumed his responsibilities when he died two years ago. I know that he would have liked to see me happy, but alas, I have not been able to settle down.
I enjoy a challenge. I enjoy weapons training. What sort of work requires you to save the galaxy on a regular basis and curry favor with Princesses? My work takes me far and wide, but my main office is on Imperial Center. Would this be a long-distance relationship?
As for the Ewoks, count yourself fortunate. They're bloodthirsty little pestilences who have no concept of loyalty and refuse to learn Basic. It is offensive to all sentients who recognize humanity as the natural ruling species.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
SWF (You may call me Ysanne)

RK_Striker_JK_5--LOL, I founded the Wes/Pink 5 'ship and now the Wes/Ysanne 'ship. He hasn't married to our knowledge. I figure he's got something like baggage. I'm glad you like it a lot. There is a great deal of possibility for this anonymity. Thanks!
SithGirl132--Thank you. The crack!ships can be fun. Glad you're looking forward to more.
Alexis_Wingstar--LOL, thanks! Yeah, it's...yeah.
Dana-Skywalker--It could just work and explains a lot of why Wes didn't go back to Rogue Squadron when they were having to fight Isard. I like unique. Thanks for finding it to be a riot.
Meredith_Kenobi--Thank you! It took about five minutes and too much sugar for me to come up with the premise. I'm happy you like it.
BrentusofGath--Wanna bet? Just wait until the ending.
reagan64--LOL, I figure it might be fun to see if one was playing the other or the other way around. What if she sat around going "Hmmm, I wonder what kind of Rebel scum would be attracted if I put this in..." Thanks!
Jade_Max--LOL, thanks! Lines in this are already giving me spinoff ideas, such as why Isard hates Ewoks.
Laine_Snowtrekker--LOL, thanks! I hope you do.

Dear Ysanne,
What's the weather like where you are? It's early summer here and the skies are as blue as your eye. I went to Imperial Center once and don't remember much about the weather except there was a lot of buildings. I don't like that much. I grew up on Raltiir and most of the buildings never broke the ten-floor limit.
I think of you every time I'm out in the forests, since I wonder if you miss seeing trees. Do you ever get lonely surrounded by all that duracrete? I think I'd want to go camping. If you came to visit, maybe I'd take you for an overnighter by the lake south of base or we'd race each other to the top of those mountains that I have to clear every time I go on patrol.
Or maybe I'd just take you out for a romantic night on the firing range. I just recertified as a sniper and it makes all the girls swoon at my manly aiming tactics. (If you run into any stormtroopers, tell them girls think it's a major turn-on, so they'd better learn!) Have you ever done sniper work. I know you prefer doing things long-distance--space battles, relationships, etc. I treat my DC-15x like a baby. Call me sentimental and old-fashioned, but I like this one and I got a pretty good deal from this Rodian about six months ago. I think you'd like it, too.
If I had the chance, I'd blow off training exercises this morning and bring you this cute little flower we've got around here. It has a weird defense mechanism where if you grip the stem too tightly, it spits water in your face. I think you'd get a kick out of it. When was the last time you laughed?
Yours,
Wes
020222ai2.doc
Dear Wes,
It is winter here. I have not seen a tree in six months and even then, it was because I was meeting a coworker at the Senate Arboretum. The skies are as grey as the duracrete, but I have no time to be lonely. Work is intensifying and I am surrounded by people who do not understand my need to accomplish great things.
I have not been camping since I was a young girl, before my father learned that nothing mattered more to him than his work. I think I have become like him and in some ways, that pleases me. Still, I should like to see your lake by moonlight and see just how steep of a climb it takes to clear the mountains.
I imagine that your skills as a sniper make you a formidable opponent. I find that to be more attractive in a man than most.
As for when I laughed last, it was reading of your desire to make a botanical product spit water in my face. I enjoy your paradoxical idealism. Do you have a holo that I might keep for myself?
Yours,
Ysanne

Meredith_Kenobi--LOL, glad you liked that. It's very romantic coming from Wes.
Onoto--Don't feel guilty. It was a pragmatic/irritated thing that was supposed to be mildly amusing. Thanks!
SUGARBANTJINN--Thanks! I'm glad you like it that much. I thought of it because they both have slightly twisted ideals that they think are for the greater good, but on opposite ends of the spectrum. Plus the dare required that this be between a high-ranking Imperial female official and a Rebel, so I had to choose between her, Leonia Tavira and Daala. Of course I went with Isard.
brodiew--Thanks for the compliment and the confidence. LOL, they really do have a contrast of styles, which is what is so much fun for me. LOL, I'm glad you loved that deadpan and Ruthless was amusing for me to think of. Will do.

Dear Ysanne,
Happy Sweetheart's Day! Will you be my sweetheart? I guess that's something of a pointless question, since you're still writing to me every week, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I guess we'll have to take a raincheck on the camping trip indefinitely. We just moved again (It's hard being a galactic man of mystery, doncha know?) and this place is HORRIBLE for camping. I've never been to Tatooine, but my buddy Luke says it's like Tatooine without the charming tourist attractions. Desert, desert, desert all around, plus we stick out like a lump on a glass plate with our base.
Then again, from that holo you sent me, I wouldn't mind me and you doing some sunbathing one of these days. Things have been pretty boring on base, because they tightened security. On the other hand, we've been involved in a lot of battles, making progress one star at a time, so things aren't too bad.
I hope you don't have someone to hold you tight tonight because I'd rather be the one to do it.
With julaberry cream pies,
Wes

Dear Wes,
Happy Sweetheart's Day to you. It would be easier to be your sweetheart if I knew where to find you. Fortunately, there are not many planets with 'desert, desert, desert all around.' Maybe one of these days I could come for a surprise visit. I'd like to meet you personally.
My work is all-consuming at this point, so I am glad to have a kind of respite in the form of our relationship. Wear your sunscreen and write often so we both survive the boredom.
Yours,
Ysanne

Re: Rebel investigations
Director,
My congratulations on the progress you have made on the behalf of the Empire. Your ingenuity in gleaning information from such a willing subject without wasting taxpayer credits on lengthy interrogations is nothing short of commendable.
I am concerned that you are becoming too attached to the subject. Since you have identified him as Lieutenant Wes Janson of the infamous Rogue Squadron, I have noticed that his warrant has been changed from 'kill' to 'capture and question.'
Do not forget that he is one of the enemy. Regardless of what may or may not have developed, your primary duty is to the Imperial good. Make use of him and then do not hesitate to dispose of him.
His Majesty,
Emperor Palpatine

Re: Our little secret
Lieutenant Janson,
Thank you for keeping us apprised of the situation. I had my doubts when you proposed using her interest in you to misinform our enemies, but you have proved yourself well. We will be letting you know if we have further instructions for distracting "Ysanne."
We encourage you to maintain your current pattern of correspondence so as to not arouse suspicions. On the other hand, be sure to keep an emotional distance. This must only last as long as it profits us.
Lieutenant Tomis will be contacting you shortly. She is the agent assigned to the project and takes her orders from me.
Sincerely,
General Cracken
030222ai1.doc
Dear Wes,
It seems out-of-character to contact you first, but it has been nearly a month since we last spoke. I hope you have not been bored to death.
How are things? Are you still surrounded by the desert or have you moved to the proverbial greener pastures? I am still alone among the duracrete and thinking of you every time I see the Manarai Mountains.
You mentioned that you have been involved in many battles. Is that a reason for your silence?
Yours,
Ysanne
030222ai2.doc
Dear Ysanne,
I am typing this one-handed, as I broke my arm on my last mission and we don't have an on-base bacta tank. Sorry I haven't written in a while, but as you guessed, I've been too busy being a hero to do much writing. I'll make it up to you soon.
I'm sorry you're alone. What sort of thing do you do for fun? Have you tried bungee-jumping? There's nothing more enjoyable than that, except maybe vaping a few squints before breakfast.
I took a holo of me and a few of my wingmates at our new base. You'll be glad to see that we now have trees.
Fondly,
