I have a feeling Anakin and Padme are going to have a little talk once they get some alone time- but Anakin really shouldn't be so upset after all that has happened. I'll be interested to see what exactly Bail has to offer.

Chapter 10
“What exactly will our role be in the Rebel Alliance?” Siri asked with concern. “Now that we are considered criminals, we can’t just travel around the Galaxy anymore.”
“We’ll have to wear disguises,” Anakin offered.
“And what to you plan to disguise your lightsaber as?” Ferus scoffed. “A giant glow wand?”
“Enough!” Yoda snapped, shooting a stern glance his way. “A good idea young Skywalker has,” he added with a look of approval. “Know most of the Jedi by sight the Galaxy does not. On missions those Jedi will go.”
“And those of us who are known?” Anakin asked, holding his breath.
Yoda turned an amused stare on Anakin. “Disguised they will be,” he replied. “However, remain here you will.”
Anakin felt the wind knocked out of him. So this was his punishment. ‘It’s what I deserve,’ he reminded himself bitterly.
“Punishment it is not,” Yoda corrected, earning a startled look from Anakin. “A youngling on the way you have,” he reminded him. “Here for the birth and raising you should be.”
Padmé took his hand, squeezing her support, their brief argument forgotten.
“I agree, Master,” Anakin said softly. “But the baby isn’t due for another few weeks -,”
“On schedule babies rarely are,” Yoda pointed out. “Risk missing the birth you will not.” His tone left no room for argument.
Anakin slumped back in his chair scowling.
“Too bad you’re going to miss all the fun, Skywalker,” Ferus jeered.
Anakin kicked him under the table.
Yoda tapped his gimer stick forcefully. Turning to Bail he asked, “Where to start shall we?”
“The first thing we will need is a base of operations,” Bail began. “We won’t be able to operate openly anywhere and if our allies are exposed, we will need to offer them a safe place to go on short notice.”
“Know of a planet, I do,” Yoda replied. Reaching into the pocket of his tiny robe, he pulled out a small hologlobe. With a wave of his hand, a star map hologram of the Outer Rim appeared before him.
“Here,” he pointed, ignoring the startled gasps from the room. “Apatros. No life forms live there, only plants. A perfect place to hide it is.”
Bail blinked in disbelief. “Ah…um…thank you Master, but I thought perhaps we could join you here.”
“No.” Yoda shook his head firmly. “The last of the Jedi we are. Risk being discovered by the Empire we cannot.”
“I can assure you we would be discrete -,”
“Believe you I do,” Yoda assured him. “But many will be coming and going from your base. Unable to withstand Palpatine’s interrogation methods if caught they would be and discovered our hideout would be. Allow that to happen, I cannot.”
“I understand.” Bail’s tone was disappointed.
“I’ll volunteer to go and help set up the base,” Mace Windu offered in a strong voice.
“I…I appreciate that, Master,” Bail replied. “But you should focus on recovering -,”
“My injuries will be fully healed in a few days,” Mace interrupted. “Assuming we will have a medical facility on the base, I can have a new leg attached there. I will only need help with the manual labor.”
“I’ll have a team at your disposal within the week,” Bail promised.
“If agree you do,” Yoda began, turning to Bail. “In charge of the Jedi’s missions from the base Master Windu will be.”
“We are grateful for your assistance,” Bail nodded. “In the meantime, I’ll arrange to have whatever supplies you need delivered here –,”
“No,” Yoda interrupted forcefully. “Know of this location no one can.”
“But you need supplies -,”
“Arrange to have what we need you will. A team of Jedi I will send to pick them up.”
Bail nodded silently.
“Erase from your mind and the minds of your crew this location and trip I must,” Yoda continued, turning to Bail.
“Wha…what?” he balked. “I…I….Master Yoda I don’t think that’s necessary. No one knows I brought you here and -,”
Yoda placed a gentle hand on Bail’s arm. “Trust you I do,” he whispered. “Trust Palpatine I do not. Want to know where you have been he will.”
Bail was silent, unable to deny Yoda’s words. The Jedi Master made perfect sense and who was he to argue with such logic.
“Trust me do you?”
Bail gazed down into Yoda’s calming gaze. “Yes,” he sighed. “But it’s going to take some time to convince my crew.”
“Our eyes and ears in the Senate you must be,” Yoda continued in a soothing tone. “Find a way to send us regular reports you must so plot each course of action together we can.”
“I can have a coded message sent from Alderaan,” Bail offered. “My wife and I developed a personal code known only to the two of us for our more…,” he coughed, “private messages. I’ll have a decoder sent with the first team to Apatros.”
“Continue we will to fortify our base here,” Yoda announced, turning his attention to the Jedi. “When missions come up, assign Jedi Master Windu will. Focus on training the rest of us will,” he gazed knowingly at Anakin. “In time, rebuild the order we will.”
“But Master, how can we rebuild where there are so few of us left?”
“Maybe Anakin and Padmé will supply us with the next generation by themselves,” Ferus snickered.
“Knight Olin,” Yoda’s voice was tight with anger. “Assigned to crèche duty you are. Begin with cleaning the rooms from top to bottom you will.”
Ferus nodded, flushing with embarrassment.
“Search for Force sensitive beings a select group of Jedi will,” Yoda continued. “Bring them here and begin a modified version of training we will.”
“You..you mean older initiates?” Obi-Wan gasped.
Yoda nodded solemnly. “Change the Order must if to survive we are.”

Older initiates are a good idea. Ferus got what he deserved, getting Creché duty.
And Yoda is right about babies rarely being on time.

Yoda was too easy on Ferus. he should have been assigned to clean the bathrooms.
Great chapter. You convey well the seriousness of the situation with Yoda explaining that he needs to wipe the minds of the crew and Bail.

Oh how I love Yoda in this chapter. He is so wise and kind.
Yoda is so right, babies rarely arrive on the ESTIMATED due date. Looks like Anakin had a relapse of immaturity. Padmé will need his support when she goes in labor and who knows if she or the babies will have complications. He’ll regret it big time if something happens and he wasn’t there for them.
I say Ferus got off lightly for all the nasty snide comments.
