	Well, this certainly is one wonderful fic! You've got be reeled in. Please add me to you pm list. Just one question, did I miss Mara telling Luke her real name, or did he know and slip up? Or was that an author slip! If it was a slip on your part, I'd keep it in. 	A quick glance in Skywalker's direction showed his expression to be grim - whatever awaited them at the station, it was clear he was not looking forward to it. "I'll defer to you to determine what we need," he said, his eyes never leaving the buildings in front of them. I could almost sense his dread at being there again, having to walk in and see people he knows, that knew him, no matter the circumstances... "Look who crawled up out of the Sarlacc pit." Wonder if he'd like to know how right he is? Funny, either way... The farm people thought that a teenager killed them? Eeek... I liked that conversation between Camie and Luke. Very well done. And... wow. Camie see's it!!! In that instant, she knew that whatever her master's intentions when he had given her the information about Skywalker, the portrayal of him as a cold, heartless killer was absolutely false. All her doubts regarding the matter were swept away and she found herself wondering once again if the Emperor had known he was passing her erroneous information, or if he had been deceived by his informants. 	Nice to see Fixer and Camie make an appearance and I thought you did a great job capturing their characters. Fixer always struck me as more opportunistic than loyal. 	Wow....I have to say this was probably the most powerful post that I have read in a long time! That was simply amazing. I was so spellbound in it, watching Luke and Mara interact with Camie and Fixer. Watching Luke in his friends' eyes and seeing him the way that they saw him was really awesome. Mara is really going to have a tough time with carrying out her Master's wishes. She was not ready for someone like Luke. And their "impulsive kiss" was wow....put in exactly the right place! Great job....oh..I'm just itching for more! ~nabooqueen~

Unfortunately, this fic would definitely make a lot less sense if Luke knew who she was right now. I had never really thought of it before, it would have been very interesting for him to let the bomb slip that he knew who she was - but it definitely wouldn't work in this particular fic. The kiss has been on my mind almost from the time I conceived of this story and I managed to make it happen in almost the same way I originally thought of it, which is definitely cool! Every time, she seems to be softening, she hardens herself again and the farmboy has to do something to break through the shell again. A part of me has always been concerned because the pace is so fast - after all, they've only known each other for 2 days! The time constraints make writing a believable romance challenging. While I believe love at first sight can happen, I don't like it when it doesn't fit and I don't think it does in Mara and Luke's situation. 	Those last two posts were fantastic! I never thought of Lando thinking of Luke in those terms but it really makes sense. I do think his opinion changed when they became closer. However I always thought that Lando was in love with Mara. I think that you were right on with Fixer. I am just sorry that Lucas cut the scenes out with the Anchorhead group. I really can not wait to see Yoda's reaction to Mara. Maybe threw the Force he will see that they are meant to be together. I just hope that he is not on his death bed and is able to have a chat with her. Yet maybe she will listen to him more if he is dying. Sorry it took me so long to reply. 	Excellent posts! Love the Tusken "sacrifice," and the reference to Anakin. Though somehow, I think things might have gone differently if they'd encountered the band formerly led by A'Sharad Hett. Mara and Luke seem to be getting closer, and I think that near miss at Tosche station has made Mara realize that she might have jumped into all this with both feet. DRL has been horrible and I am still trying to catch up. Thanks! I always got the impression that as Lando and Luke were two very different people, their opinions of each other were very different as well. At this point, however, Lando is more in lust with Mara, than in love and I haven't read the books which talk about their 'relationship' so I can't really comment on canon. Fixer I always considered a bit of a jerk, inasmuch as I could think anything about him - the section with his friends in the book was very short after all. His actions did seem appropriate to the type of person I've always imagined him to be, although I will admit I took plenty of liberties with Camie in this fic. As for Yoda, well you will find out his reaction in about half an hour, if you happen to get the PM right away! Tych_Sel posted: Excellent posts!
