Disclaimer - Lucas owns Star Wars, I'm just a fan with a story to tell. 
Summary - This is a what if? In this Anakin and Padme did not end up together, and it is glimpse into how Anakin might have lived his life if he never got his Angel. And plus I haven't written anything angsty, so I decided to give this a go.
When My Heart Bleeds
“I can never be yours, Anakin…”
An unrelenting furnace burgeons deep within my heart, its nauseating tendrils rapaciously pierce through my soul, silently taunting me as I hear your voice seal my fate. I immediately turn my broken eyes away from Obi-Wan and the rest of the council, as they deliberate on the Separatist strong hold in the outer-rim, hoping my impetuous reaction went unnoticed.
My heart begs for mercy, pleads with the sinister pain to liberate it from its imperceptible prison…to let it be whole again. Your angelic voice reverberates incessantly around me, scorching me with the corrosive truth. A truth we both knew. A truth that even our love had to bow down to…we could never be one. I indiscernibly gasp for breath, the pain rapidly becomes unquenchable, whilst I visualize your broken chocolate orbs stare up at me with love and regret as you say good-bye.
I shift uncontrollably within my capacious robe, and ask the Force to free me, only to remember the warmth I felt when I held you in my arms. Only one place could give me sanctuary, and I anxiously count the moments to end of the Council session. The Force reinvigorates my resolve as I enter the training chamber…my home.
I liberate my lightsaber; its passionate azure power inundates my body, completing me and deceivingly filling in the conspicuous absence that haunting lingers in my life. My taut muscles move with exquisite precision, as I adeptly twist and contort the sapphire blade with the blessings of the Force. And then it happens…I see her.
Her benevolent brown eyes, her vibrant chocolate curls, and her soft milky flesh. And I see you.
“Padme…”
My trembling lips whisper your name, and the familiar resurgent pain ravages the resolve I so gallantly fought to erect. The female padawan walks past, her gaze silently acknowledging an unspoken bond between us.
My cerulean eyes cower and I turn away, determined to train even harder. The sweat pours profusely down my face, and I taste it, whilst it accumilates on my lips. Its tastes different than before…and then I realize they are my tears. It’s the brutally agonizing reminder that the only woman I ever loved was taken from me because of the oaths we both took as Senator and Jedi. The one place which I called home is where I think of my angel the most.
Night falls upon the majestic terrain of Coruscant, as I stare out through the Jedi Temple and towards 500 Republica.
One day I will balance the Force, and on that day I will be whole again.

As always you write such amazing stories! 
I could imagine that Anakin wouldn't ever be the same if he and Padme didn't end up together.
Poor Anakin going through the torture of remembering her and trying to fulfill his destiny at the same time.

oh man, tell me that was a teaser and there's more to come. I know the description said "vig"... but I know there's more! The use of first person perspective was a nice switch from the third person in "Hitman".

I can imagine Anakin would be just that haunted had they not gotten together.

Oh, this is wonderfully angsty and so well written. I agree with one of the other commenters in saying that you have really mastered writing in the first person. Well done and thanks for sharing!

randomangel22 - WOW!!!!  Thank you for the kind words!  I guess Padme was a part of Anakin, and when she died in Canon, a part of him died. Whereas he became Vader in the movies, I wanted to show a quick glimpse into his life where never got his Angel, and still had his destiny to fulfill.
Vivid_Scripts - Thank you for the wonderful reply! I didn't really write this to be anything more than vig, but just how Anakin would face life without Padme in it. I liked the change from what I am writing with Hitman. Thanks! 
KELIA - Thank you!  I guess there are too many things that would remind Anakin of Padme for him to ever forget her, even if that is what both of them would have wanted. At least in canon, he shared some of his most cherished moments with her.

Darthana - Thank you for reading! I would love to write about Anakin and Padme becoming one, but I guess sometimes it doesn't always end that way, and I just wanted to show that Anakin truly loved Padme, and would probably have seen her in something everyday.

Well, this is definitely angsty, so insofar as you were trying to make Anakin sound like a tortured youth, you definitely succeeded.
Edit: Whoops. Wasn't clear on the rules. If you want some concrit let me know!

AaylaSecurOWNED - Thanks for reading! I'm not really a good writer, I just wanted to explore this possible AU. I guess Padme completed him, and when he did lose her in ROTS it would have haunted him. This is just a what if had he not turned.

Anakin’s heart isn’t the only one that’s bleeding.
Ouch . MY heart is bleeding as well.
 BEAUTIFUL but SOOO PAINFULLY SAD.
