Summary - Yoda and Sidious feel the birth of the Chosen Ones who are brothers, The chaos starts from there

Prologue
It was said that they were brothers conceived by the force. It was said that they were to be the most powerful entities in the galaxy. It was said that for either light or dark to succeed one would have to kill the other. It was said that the love of a parent would be the anchor of the light. It was said that the lust of power would drive the dark. It was said that the choices they made would shape the future.

As Jedi Grandmaster Yoda sat in his meditation chamber he contemplated the prophecy of “The Chosen Ones” which was told to him by his dying master when he was but a padawan. A long time had past since that moment, 800 years to be exact but Yoda remembered them clearly. His Master had told him that the brothers would be born in his lifetime and he would help to shape and guide there futures.
Yoda was not aware of who would protect the light or follow the dark but he did know that the shadow was also aware of the prophecy. In his mind Yoda could feel the darkness rising but he could not pinpoint where or who the shadow came from. This proved that the Dark Figure was certainly a match for even him.

Ironically not to far away a Senator from the system of Naboo was thinking of the same subject as he continued his plot to destroy the Jedi Order. The Senator was well aware that hiding in plain sight made the Jedi not even suspect him of being suspicious. Senator Palpatine had another identity, he was the Dark Lord of the Sith known as Darth Sidious.
Much like Yoda, Sidious had been told of the prophecy of the brothers by his master, it was later that evening after learning his masters final secret that he had driven his lightsabre through his heart as he slept.

As both Masters of light and darkness meditated on the prophecy a shift occurred in the force. To the Masters it felt like an explosion as two incredible powerful creatures were born. The brothers had arrived.
One was born on Tatooine and the other Alderaan. Yoda dispatched Jedi Knight Qui Gon Jinn to Tatooine to locate the child. Luckily for Yoda, Jedi Padawan Xanatos Crion was completing a mission on Alderaan and was ordered to investigate and find the second brother.
As Yoda acted Darth Sidious smiled knowing the Jedi would bring the prey to him and he would do what he did best, which was watching, plotting and waiting.

Chapter 1 – Fights, Punishments, Decisions
“Let her go, Anakin” The young male demanded but upon seeing that his words were no use he repeated them with more force.
“Let her go” Finally Anakin let the female go and turned to confront him.
“Or else what Oafi Wan” Said the young boy.
Obi Wan was only concerned about helping his friend Bant who was always being pushed around by Anakin and his friends.
“Just leave her alone, if you want to pick on someone, pick on me.”
“Okay I’ll do that” Anakin shouted as he launched himself at Obi wan. As the boys were fighting a crowd started to build up. Even though Anakin was taller and stronger, Obi wan was quicker and this made the fight quite even, at least until Anakin’s friends got involved.
“What is going on here?” Demanded the booming voice of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn.
As one would imagine the crowd quickly dispersed so it was just Anakin and Obi Wan.
“Well, I won’t be waiting here forever, what is going on here?” Qui-Gon persisted as both boys put there heads down. Neither said anything and waited to see how the legendary Master proceeded.

Moments later they were in front of the Jedi Council who looked on without surprise that these two boys were in front of them once again.
“Initiate Skywalker, Initiate Kenobi this is the fifth fight that you have had this year alone, if this behaviour continues not only are you likely to be cleaning the floors for the next few years but neither of you will become a padawan.” Stated Jedi Master Windu. He then turned his gaze to Yoda who always seemed to let these boys get away with their discretions far easier than other initiates.
“Control, Control, Both of you must learn control” The small Master demanded.
Both Anakin and Obi Wan kept there heads down and didn’t say a word. Regardless of who started the fight or the circumstances leading to there many altercations they both were punished equally.
Yoda then proceeded to hand out the punishments to the duo. Both were assigned to clean and tidy all levels of accommodation at the temple. Obi Wan had the extra punishment of being banned from the archives, Anakin was banned from going down to maintenance. These areas were the boy’s favourites so the punishment was a punishment. The boys were dismissed by the council and told to go to the healers ward.
Once Anakin and Obi Wan left the council chambers Master Jinn who had witnessed everything spoke up.
“What are we going to do with them? They are causing chaos, I remember having arguments when I was there age but nothing like this.”
“They are both nearly 10 years old now and no master will be willing to train either of them if this continues.” Plo Koon pitched in.
Yoda sat quietly through this. He knew why the rivalry between the boys in the last few years had escalated. On Tatooine news of a slave female dying reached him, her name was Shmi Skywalker, the same day on Alderaan a woman with orange tinted hair had died. Her name was Lydia Kenobi. Yoda had felt the surge from both boys as their mothers had died. Subconsciously the connections between the mothers and children were broken and an enormous amount of pain had been let loose in the force.
“Masters they need” Yoda explained. “Control there impulses they must.”
As the Master soaked in the words of the Grandmaster, Mace Windu spoke up,
“It will be easier to find a Master for Skywalker, he is more advanced in his classes and communicates better with fellow initiates and padawans.
“I will take Anakin Skywalker as my padawan learner, stated Qui Gon Jinn. “I have stated in the past that he is the most gifted initiative I have ever seen, I believe him to be the chosen one.”
Yoda’s ears perched up at this, unlike the prophecy given to him by his master there was another prophecy where there was only one that was chosen by the force. The vast number of Jedi believed this to be true.
All of the council seemed to agree with Qui Gon’s request but they turned there heads to Yoda for conformation.
“Your apprentice, Skywalker will be.” Qui-Gon smiled, bowed and then proceeded to exit the chamber.
“What of Kenobi, he will find it difficult to find a master.” Stated the soft voice of the Master Adi Gallia. “I considered him myself before Siri found me”.
“Know of a Master, for young Obi Wan, I do” Said Yoda with a smile.

He had just returned from another mission that the council had sent him on. His body was ravaged with pain. He had only just managed to get the Senator he was chosen to protect out of a very dangerous situation. Once the Senator was presented in front of the Supreme Chancellor his mission was over. He had been a Knight now for six years and at thirty years of age he felt much older. Yoda had given him some very testing missions since he was knighted and now he felt in need of a break. He was on his way to stand before the council when he passed the Room of a Thousand Fountains he heard a cry. As he entered he spotted the hunched figure of a boy that he had come to know very well.
“Obi Wan” He said softly.
“Xani” Said the sniffling boy who tried to hide the fact that he was crying.
“Come here” Xanatos requested as he held his arms out for the boy to come to him. As young Obi Wan settled into the older mans embrace Xanatos asked “Whats the matter?”
“Another fight with Anakin” The young boy sniffled. “This time it wasn’t my fault, he was picking on Bant.”
“Then you did the right thing, you protected someone who was unable to protect themselves.” Explained Xanatos gently.
As the boy continued to cry softly into the chest of the young knight unbeknownst to them the force was singing to the ears of the small green Jedi Master that watched on unnoticed.

I think Xan and Obi-Wan will make a good team. But which is the Chosen One, or are they both?

Excellent first posts, and I love the fact that there are two chosen ones. 
I always believed Obi-Wan was chosen to guide the last remaining jedi to defeat the darkness.  He was chosen to bring balance and I am
going to love this story

Chapter 2 – Thinking Back
As both Masters stood at the side of the annual lightsabre tournament arena they allowed themselves a small glance and smirk at each other.
“Another year, another final.” Qui Gon allowed himself to say.
“Yes, let’s just hope they do not burn the place down to rubble.” His former padawan said with a smile.
“How is Obi Wan progressing?” Questioned the Older Master gently asked.
“He is progressing well, he is doing extremely well in his studies and his skill with a sabre is more than I had at that age. He sometimes lacks the confidence to extend himself fully but tries to be the best he can be.” Stated the proud Master who knew if it wasn’t for the boy he could have been on a much darker path.
“Anakin finds his studies hard but he is trying. It is in the more physical forms of training that he excels in. As you know only to well it is only Obi Wan that can match him with a lightsabre in there age range. I believe that he is on the right path to being the greatest of us all.” Qui Gon completed with a proud look.
After Qui Gon had finished what he had said an invisible wall went up between the pair. This was turning out to be a constant problem. The way they taught their padawans was as different as they were themselves. One always stressing there importance, the other quick to keep things simple and balanced. It was in these times that both always travelled back to when they were both the task of finding there future to be padawans.

Tatooine 13 years earlier –
He had arrived on the dreaded planet of sand to nearly be blinded by the light that was emitted by an uncontrolled presence. Using the force he was able locate the presence. He now stood in front of what seemed to be slave accommodation. As he gently knocked on the door he was greeted by what seemed to be a lady that was in her thirtieth year although she seemed much older.
“Can I help you?” Enquired the slightly cautious female.
“I am Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn”
“A Jedi” the female said in awe.
A loud cry of a young baby prevailed from inside the property. The female allowed Qui Gon to enter the small property while she went to cater to the child. When she brought the baby into the room the Jedi Master was mesmerised. As the gentle mother softly got the child to calm down.
“What brings you to a slave hut on Tatooine?” The young woman asked.
“The grandmaster of my order felt a shift in the force and informed me to travel to Tatooine, through my investigation I have been able to find that the shift is…..your son.” Qui Gon stated peacefully.
As if knowing what the Jedi meant the female simply said “He has special powers.”
“How so?”
“A few nights ago I woke up to him giggling and as I looked over I saw cup balancing above him as if he was playing with it.” The female put her head down fearing the Jedi would not believe her.
Qui Gon was intrigued he had never heard of such power at a few days old.
“The Force is unusually strong with him, that much is clear. Who was his father?”
“There was no father that I know of... I carried him, I gave him birth... I can't explain what happened. Can you help him?”
As Qui Gon was about to answer a loud knock and an angry voice could be heard outside the property. A small flying creature followed by a short human male entered.
“Shmi, Shmi it is time for your baby to be tagged?” The nasty creature stated.
“No, No you will not tag Anakin” Shmi screamed and put herself between Watto and her baby.
“You have no choice, you and he are slaves”
“She does have a choice” The booming voice of Qui Gon Jinn filled the room. “And she has chosen to give the boy to me.”
“Who are you” Question the now startled Watto.
“I am Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn.”
As she slave master scurried off. Shmi and Qui Gon agreed that it would be better for Anakin is he was taken and to be trained as a Jedi. Qui Gon promised Shmi that he would return to try and free her. As the heartbroken mother who had just let her child go for a better life stood at the entrance to her home, Qui Gon turned and asked;
“What is his surname?”
“Skywalker” Shmi said simple.
Later on his ship Qui Gon had taken a small blood sample from Anakin and had tested for a midi-chlorian count the results blew him away. The results were of the charts and over twenty five thousand. In his mind he thought about the child apparent conception and the midi – chlorian, an incredible revelation came to him.
“He is the Chosen One”

Alderaan 13 years earlier -
“Damn Troll” Muttered Jedi Padawan Xanatos Crion as he walked out of the royal palace on Alderaan. He had just completed his mission of protecting the young prince Bail Organa when he received a message from Yoda. The small master had charged him the task of finding a baby that had been born with great power.
Xanatos was due to meet his Master on Telos when Yoda had called. In a way he was relieved that the mission had been cancelled as he was slowly becoming disgruntled by his Master. At times Xanatos could feel the hate bubbling under the surface. He found it hard to live under the cloud of being the Padawan of Qui Gon Jinn.
A pulsating scream brought him back to there here and now, he was a in a small village just outside of the royal city. From what he could observe was an argument between a father and his daughter. As the argument continued he silently followed until they were on a bridge next to a waterfall. Xanatos could now hear the conversation taking place.
“It must be done my daughter.” Said the gruff words of the father.
“I will not allow you to kill my child.” The determined desperate words of the daughter and mother.
As the argument continued Xanatos could feel through the force the glimpses of a baby in the arms of the father. The child was strong in force, that much he could tell, not even Yoda’s light burnt so brightly. “This must be the one.” Just as he realised this was the child he was charged to find a terrifying scream could be heard as the male appeared to throw the child over the bridge and into the waterfall. Jedi instincts taking over Xanatos leaped of the bridge and used the force to slow the child’s descent. Just as they were about to make contact with the surface Xanatos caught the baby and used the force to protect them like a shell.
After realising he was still alive the Padawan made his was to some rocks. He then unwrapped the blanket the child was wrapped in and in that moment all the anger and all the disgruntlement left him. In the blue eyes of this baby boy the young Padawan found his hope, his saviour.
“You are lucky to be alive young one.” He said softly to the surprisingly calm child.
The only response he received was the child tiny hand wrapped itself around one of his fingers. As he made his way back to the bridge he was greeted by the girl who had mothered the child.
“You saved him, Thank You so much”
“It is okay, Miss?”
“Kenobi” The young girl answered.
“Why did your father want to kill your son?” The Padawan enquired.
“He thinks that a child born out of wedlock is immoral, he thinks a child born to a fourteen year old is even worse.” The young girl whispered.
“What will you do with him now?”
“I will put him up for adoption, I am unable to care for him as he needs but I will not abandon him.”
“My order could adopt him, I am a Jedi.”
“He has the force?”
“He is very strong in the force, even now his light shines through”.
For the next few hours Xanatos and Lydia Kenobi discussed the Jedi’s adoption of the boy. Xanatos had also come to learn that the boy apparently had no father as the girl had remained to have been “untouched”. He decided that he would take that up with Yoda.
As Xanatos allowed Lydia to say goodbye to her child a vision came to pass in his mind. It was him on a planet dominated by acid and all he could see was himself duelling what appeared to be his Master. From there he had seen his betrayal of the Jedi and his evil plot for revenge. In the end he saw his eventual death at the hands of Qui Gon Jinn. The vision then split away and he saw himself training with a young man that was short, muscular and incredibly graceful. He saw himself and the young man fighting against countless adversaries and finally once again he saw his death at the hand of a man that he in the future he would know. One death marred in betrayal, one death in glory. It appeared to Xanatos that the finding of this child had given him purpose, had given him hope, had given him life.
As he took the child from his mother he heard her whisper;
“Goodbye Obi Wan Kenobi”
As he walked away the child cried out obviously for his mother. Xanatos tried to calm him by saying;
“Hello Obi Wan Kenobi, I am Xanatos Crion and I will die to try and protect you.”

The Here and Now –
The booming voice of Master Windu brought both Masters back from there thoughts.
“For the fourth year in a row in the junior padawan division final we have 2 time defending champion Anakin Skywalker against former champion Obi Wan Kenobi.”
Both Masters held there breath. Seconds later the dual had begun.
