It is only natural
It was artificial. It was debris from the Death star spiralling down towards the green moon. It was caught in the gravity of the moon. It was huge.
On Yavin were two friends wandering outside in the forest.
One was Han Solo
The other was Luke
Both wanted to take a short break before the celebration started.
Luke knew that Artoo was being taken care of by the technicians and Treepio fussing over him and all those technicians. He smiled;
‘Treepio and his cocky voice, calling me Master Luke. Only a few days ago I had been a moisture farmer, being cared for by my aunt and uncle.’ A tear escaped his eyes.
‘Yes and Ben Kenobi, who had been in reality, in an other reality, a Jedi Knight. Struck down by Darth Vader and leaving only a robe and his lightsaber. But I had heard Ben’s assuring voice that I could use the Force to guide me and yes it was as if Ben was still there. Somewhere up in a tree?’
Han knew that he would get his credits to pay his debt to Jabba the Hutt. But that princess! She was lovely and he wanted to stay around for some time more, wanting to know more about her. She had suffered a great loss. He saw that in her eyes, her beautiful brown eyes.
One hour ago they had crossed a stream in the vicinity of the temple that had become the base of the rebels. They were now on an island in the middle of said stream. An island covered by small trees and bushes.
It was artificial. Its target was the island. It was not so huge anymore. Most of it had been burned away by the friction in the atmosphere. Only one part remained.
Luke was admiring the small trees. He saw a furry creature disappearing between the tree-leaves and smiled. The smile disappeared when he saw other animals and all were starting to panic.
Luke said “I have a bad feeling about this.”
Han said “what kiddo, some animals making a ruckus. That doesn’t count to me as having a bad feel...” and the rest what he wanted to say was drowned by the noise of something crashing through the wood and setting some of the trees on fire.
Luke yelled “that was my bad feeling. Now we are on an island and the whole island on fire.”
Han said “you are exaggerating. Only a few trees.”
Luke muttered “a few trees. Man the whole island is on fire in a minute and we are trapped.”
Han gave a cocky grin and said “I have the solution to that. Run when I tell you to do. I know something about firefighting” and he drew his blaster and fired it at some bushes, setting them on fire, trying to create a corridor to escape to the river.
“Run Luke, run” Han yelled and he took off after the sprinting kid.
Both reached the river just before the entire island erupted into fire and dove into the water.

Some time later.
Somewhere down stream Luke crawled up on the bank of the river helped by Han.
Both were panting heavily and collapsed on the rocks.
Luke was the first to recover. He saw far in the distance the smoke billowing from the island and smiled. The fire would run its natural course and run out of fuel. But that foolish Han Solo, he could have trapped us in the middle of that island.’
Said person stirred back to consciousness and said “hey Kid we made it.”
"This is definitely not how Obi-wan would have done it" Luke muttered.
Han said “Obi-Wan that old geezer with his hockey religion. What would he have done about it?”
Luke said with a snug sounding voice “use the Force.”
Han said “yeah, yeah and can this Force get us back on time for the celebration. We are now in an unexplored part of the forest.”
Luke said “yes, follow me” and he began to walk.

And somewhere up in the trees a Force-ghost smiled. ‘Yes Luke this way, let the Force guide you.’

I don't usually read stuff with Luke and Han, but I'm really glad I did this time!
