Title:
Untold Vision
Author:

Timeframe:
Between AOTC and ROTS
Summary:
An unnamed Jedi Padawan has a vision while she writes. She didn't intend for what was said to be said, she has no memory of ever writing it. It remained untold for years before it was found by an investigator after the Purge.
Notes:
I honestly have
no
idea why I am posting this. It hasn't been betaed or anything of the sort, I only just finished writing it about 5 minutes ago. I was frustrated that I couldn't think of anything to write, so I started writing whatever words popped into my head. It's rather pathetic how Star Wars obsessed I am since I originally didn't plan to make this SW fanfic, but it kinda evolved on its own.

To Whom It May Concern:
This short document was found in the Jedi Temple nearly four years after the Jedi Rebellion. It was originally written on the back of what appears to be an old bit of leather. The reason for this remains uncertain.
The parchment was found nearly untouched by the fires underneath a mattress in one of the living quarters.
The original document is now being held off display at the Galactic Museum.

When something wants to be written, when there are words banging around in your head, sometimes the best thing to do is simply write. It doesn’t matter if it makes any sense, nor does it matter if it’s about any particular thing. In my case however, it is not only words that I see, but images, feelings, sounds, and emotion. I don’t know how I see things that can be felt, yet I do. The problem with seeing these things is they are next to impossible to put down on paper. They are begging for me to try, I can’t ignore them any longer.
I see colors. Many colors as bright as the sun, some as dark as a starless night. They swirl together, colliding yet staying apart. Black and white, a battle of light and dark. Each stain each other until there is a sick gray puddle, slowly mixing in with the other dancing colors until all is gray. All is uniform, nothing is unique.
A haunting medley plays all around me. Voices mix with instruments, so many I can’t pick any apart. Screams of terror, screams of joy. Laughter, crying, wailing. I hear them all. They can’t be blocked out, there are always there, waiting for someone to listen. The music builds, sending chills down my spine.
When an emotion is written, you know the feeling is strong. If an emotion is not written however, you know that it is beyond word’s simple capabilities. The feelings that are rushing through me fall into the latter category, emotions that I have never before felt. Fear, anger, and hate. All emotions of the Dark Side. Yet I feel peace and contentment as well. Light, Dark, and all else rolled into one boiling emotion. Elation, confusion, grief. Pleasure, pain, guilt, and manic. Many emotions acting as one, trying to tell me something.
Battles form before my eyes, men dying, children screaming, widows howling. I see children taking up the weapons of their fathers, fighting an unseen enemy in white. Lightsabers of all colors twist through the air, blocking energy bolts before all goes still. A morbid silence fills my head, the dancing gray color fades away into nothingness, the music and voice abruptly cut off, the emotion pauses. My heart stops.
A blanket of black stretches before me, covering the ground as far as the eye can see. The sky overhead holds no stars, the moon a pale white. Sounds of heavy breathing fill the air, and I know I am dying. I can’t breathe, yet the sounds of breath flowing past a mouth continues. An agonizing scream startles me as a pit filled with lava opens, threatening to swallow me whole.
Slowly, emotions begin to trickle through my body yet again. Pain, suffering. Fear. Loathing. A raspy breath fills the now huge canyon of molten rock, a mechanical breath flowing in and out.
The monster of all monsters swiftly travels across the canyon, clad entirely in back. The breathing comes from his warped face, dark unseeing eyes, mouth bared in a permanent grimace. I see him killing those he loves, mercilessly killing the inn ocent. As I write these words, it all suddenly retreats. A brilliant white light blinds me as I feel my heart painfully starting its beat. All is now well, color trickles through the gray once more. The music, joyous this time, softly plays.
When something wants to be written, the words will take hold of you, using you as their instrument until you no longer know what it is you are doing. Listen to what they say.

If you are not using the army, I should like to borrow it for a short while.

This was very unique and exquisitely written.

If you have to choose between tears and laughter, remember that laughter burns more calories.

Awesome! So very like what I always think about, you've done a great job of expressing them!
Slowly, emotions begin to trickle through my body yet again.
That line is so awesome to imagine.
