A/N This is an ROTS story, from Anakin's perspective on Vader's actions. That might sound confusing... but enjoy.
Behind Blue Eyes
I watch as I do terrible things. I am horrified at each atrocity I commit. Yet in the years since my fall I have not stopped the plummet. I linger in the shadows of evil, waiting for a sign of light, for I am a prisoner to my own black heart.
It started that day in His office. He was pleading with me to help Him. He said that it was her only hope. I imprisoned myself that day behind bars of hate and malice and fear.
My hate for the ones who have the power to do everything, but instead do nothing; My Malice at the ones that have brought me to this level of desperation; My fear at the thought of losing her.
All of these things trap me. From my cell I cry out in horror, but I am silenced as a new shadowy presence makes itself known. I shrink back from its pale hand as it grasps the bars of my cage. Its grin is horrible and its eyes are dead. I know now that this is who I have become… Vader.
I watch as Vader leads legions of evil to what had been my home for so many years. What follows is fire and death.
They fell to his blade one by one.
The death of ones that I knew…
They looked at him and knew he was their doom.
The death of ones I had trusted…
“Master Skywalker, there are too many of them. What are we going to do?”
The voice of the youngling trembled, Vader ignites his saber and all I hear are the screams.
The death of ones that had trusted me…
My eyes burn, but no tears will come.
I watch as Vader slaughters the men that had conspired with Him. They are helpless against his might. Only one remains.
“The war is over. Lord Sidious promised us peace ... we only want . . . “ Vader cuts him down in mid-sentence.
“You misunderstood, He meant in pieces.”
Vader’s voice is cold, so very very cold.
I see my wife, she hurries to me and I wrap her in my arms. She is my joy and my life. I can feel the life of our unborn child within her.
All is right.
All is as it should be.
All is wrong.
Vader is with her now, and I am once again locked away. He is angry at her, she doesn’t understand what has happened.
Then we both see him. I cry out in joy, Vader cries out in anger as Obi-Wan descends the ramp. Vader argues with him, he is infuriated, he thinks that she led him here on purpose. Vader lashes out at her.
I watch as he strangles my wife. I beat on my cage, I yell at him to stop. He releases her and confronts the man he is truly angry with.
The battle wages far and wide. Two men alone battle each other. The destruction they bring to the place is massive.
Vader jumps and flips onto the man’s platform. The fighting continues again until he jumps toward the safety of the black sandy edge of the lava river. He yells at him.
“It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground.”
I tell Vader that Obi-Wan is right, he cannot win.Vader has nothing but contempt.
”You underestimate my power!”
Obi-Wan his voice was pained, his words echo my own.
”Don't try it.”
Vader follows, and Obi-Wan cuts through him at the knees, then cuts off his left arm in the blink of an eye. Vader tumbles down the embankment and rolls to a stop near the edge of the lava.
He struggles to pull himself up the embankment with his mechanical hand. His thin leather glove has been burned off. He keeps sliding down in the black sand.
Obi-Wan’s voice is filled with anguish.
”You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. It was you who would bring balance to the Force, not leave it in Darkness."
I hang my head in shame wishing I could tell him I was sorry.
Obi-Wan picks up Vader's lightsaber and begins to walk away. He stops and looks back as Vader screams at him.
“I hate you!”
Obi-wan face was a mask of pain.
”You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you.”
His eyes bore into Vader’s, looking, searching for something, anything. If the eyes are truly the windows to the soul, then Obi-Wan didn’t see me beating on the other side trying to get out.
If you all like it I will continue it as soon as possible.

It was interesting to see things from Anakin's perspective - how he choose to be overwhelmed by 'Vader' until it was to late to stop falling deeper.
All is right.
All is as it should be.
All is wrong. This says so much with very few words, yet rings true.

Awesome perspective here. I loved the way Anakin is described, and how he feels behind Vader’s hate. I’d love to see more!
