Hi everyone
- You haven't really seen me, I'm not really here!!! I haven't been here in a year, and truthfully I felt my time was up. But I've just had some of the best news ever, I've managed to qualify for the North American fitness championships this November. It's a fitness competition featuring some of the best shaped bodies on the planet, and I'm going to be one of them!
I was advised that in between my rigorous training that I need to do something that relaxes the mind, so that I don't lose focus, and the next few months are going to intense for me, but I can't wait! So....the only thing that I can do that is not physically demanding is writing, so here I am. Unfortuanately I'm only going to post when I can, and it is a short story so only a few posts. Sadly DRL won't allow me to come back properly and this truly is a one off, but something I always wanted to write. If anyone does decide to read, let me if you want me to PM you.
First Blood
Chapter One
A powerful beam of sunlight ricocheted off of a freshly chipped edge of granite on Padme’s grave and flooded Anakin’s eye with burning warmth. It had been nearly seven years since the clone wars traumatically ended Padme’s life, stealing her last breath as she whispered in her husband’s ear that she would love him forever. Everyone had lost something during those tumultuous times, for Anakin it was the gravest of them all. His tousled golden hair fell roguishly down his chiseled features, whilst he silently stared at the markings announcing Padme as a beloved Senator, Sister, Aunt, Daughter and Friend. He silently cursed himself that his relationship with her was hidden from the galaxy and most importantly, had they met under different circumstances, she would still be alive and in his arms.
Anakin struggled to push the debilitating lump down his throat, and vanquish the awakening pain that had lain dormant in his heart for so long. He swiftly spun on his heel, refusing to submit to the agony, and walked out the Theed cemetery and into the quiet streets of the city. His unshaven face and dirty brown tunic illustrated what he was, a vagabond, a lone drifter, whose identity was lost to civilization, allowing him to walk amongst those who he had once protected famously with his life, his passion, his skill. Anakin Skywalker was the Chosen Once, a Jedi Knight who fought gallantly to defend the republic from the treachery of the separatists.
Skywalker walked along a narrow pathway, leading him down to the edge of a lake. A small smile finally crept upon his otherwise emotionless face, as he saw two girls playfully running around a cottage. Sola, Padme’s eldest sister walked out to the veranda, a frown appeared upon her face, whilst she observed Anakin approach their home.
“She’s not here.” Sola stated to Anakin, as she ushered her daughters into the house. “She died many years ago.”
“I know.” Anakin replied, understanding immediately the reference was about Padme.
“All of that fighting that you Jedi did in the name of the republic. She lost her life for it.” Sola scolded.
Anakin quietly nodded, and outstretched his arm, gently placing a wooden snippet into Sola’s hand.
“I just came by to give this.” He stated softly, before turning around and walking back the way he came.

Tarkin was the regional law enforcer in the small town of Hope, in the mountainous regions of Naboo. He had been posted there for several years, and as quiet as the town was, he relished in the knowledge that the law was being upheld because of him, and his team. Tarkin was pristinely polished, and immaculately dressed in his green uniform, as he walked past the town’s inhabitants and towards his personal speeder.
“Good Morning Sherriff.” A local lumberjack walked past him, whilst he sat in his speeder.
“Morning…did you take a shower today?” He derogatorily asked, before speeding off to do his daily route around the perimeter of the town. Tarkin immediately slowed down when he noticed Anakin walk into the town. “Morning!”
Anakin paused and nodded his head.
“Morning.”
“Are you visiting somebody around here?” Tarkin questioned.
“No.” Anakin shrugged his shoulders.
“You do realize that looking the way you look, and wearing those clothes, you get a few people rattled up around here. Where are you heading?”
“North.” Anakin replied disinterestedly.
“Let me give you a lift, I’ll make sure that you head in the right direction.” Tarkin stated.
Anakin didn’t want a confrontation, and it was clearly obvious that the Sheriff was looking to stir something up. He sat in the speeder, and allowed Tarkin to speed off.
“So where exactly are you heading?” Tarkin asked curiously.
“Theed spaceport.” Anakin said.
“Theed is south; you said you were going north.” Tarkin questioned.
Anakin ignored the relentless questioning.
“Is there any place where I can eat around here?” He asked innocently.
“Sure, there is a diner about half a day’s walk away from here.” Tarkin smirked.
“Is there a law against me getting to eat something here?” Anakin asked.
“Yes. Me.” Tarkin replied aggressively.
“Why are you pushing me?” Anakin asked.
“What?!” Tarkin asked annoyingly.
“I said why are you pushing me? I haven’t done anything.” Anakin said.
“Firstly, you don’t ask the questions, I do. Secondly, we don’t take kindly to drifters like you. This place doesn’t need you, beside you wouldn’t like it. It’s boring.” Tarkin stated.
“Boring…” Anakin repeated.
Tarkin stopped the speeder on the outskirts of the town, and in the complete opposite direction of Theed spaceport. He allowed Anakin to get out.
“Theed, straight ahead. I hope this ride helped you, and a piece of advice. Clean up and have a shave, people won’t harass you then.” Tarkin smiled, and turned to head back to Hope.
Anakin stood at the foothills of the rural mountains, as the clouded sky above slowly rumbled with impending rain. He had been ditched in the middle of nowhere by the sheriff just because of the way he looked. Skywalker took in a deep breath, and began to walk back towards Hope.
Tarkin noticed Anakin coming from behind. He stopped his speeder in front of the vagrant.
“Where are you going?!”
Anakin refused to answer and kept walking past him.
“I want to see you identification” Tarkin demanded, as he pulled on Anakin’s arm. Anakin reflexively pulled his arm free. “You’re under arrest.” Tarkin announced, pointing his gun at Anakin. “Now put your hands behind your head! Put you hands behind your head, now!”
Anakin silently looked at Tarkin, before placing his hands behind his head.
“You try to be nice to some people, and this is how they repay you.” Tarkin stated, before quickly searching Anakin. “What do we have here?” Tarkin pulled a cylindrical hilt from Anakin’s tunic. “A lightsaber. What are you doing with a lightsaber?”
“Hunting…” Anakin replied.
“What do you hunt with a lightsaber?” Tarkin asked. “I’m taking you in.”
Tarkin had not realized that he arrested the hero of the Clone Wars, a Jedi Knight who was not going to stand down.

It's great to have you back if only for a short while, but your writings have been missed. I look forward to reading more. BIG congrats for making the finals. It's a great feeling, isn't it? To know that all your hard work has gotten you here. I know the feeling as I show Quarter Horses at the national and world class level.

- Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked the start!
MoAngel
- It's good to be back, if only for a few days.
Thank you for the kind words, and yes it is a terrific feeling, almost surreal.
I still can't believe that I got my invitation to compete on such a huge stage!
I always knew deep down that my dedication to fitness would bring me to this point in my life, and now I am eternally grateful that I have the chance to live my dream!
KELIA
- Yes, Tarkin and everyone else will find out what happens when you draw First Blood against Anakin! Thanks for the kind words!
Hi everyone
- I'm still over three months out.
The competiton is in November in South Florida, but I am at 7% bodyfat already, with the aim to cut down to 4% by November.
It's going to be tough but I'm really excited. I hope you guys enjoy the next post.
First Blood
Chapter Two
A shimmering azure radiance emanated from the plasma binders cuffing Anakin’s hands behind his back, as Tarkin’s metallic enforcer stick incessantly prodded his back, guiding him through the dual doorway of the law enforcement facility. Anakin silently looked around at the unfamiliar faces, contemptuously staring at him, judging him without knowing any better. Tarkin smirked at his fellow comrades, his chest swelling with a moment of pride that he was nobly upholding his duty by keeping the quiet streets of Hope clean from vagrant debauch scum like the one he had just brought in.
A blue humanoid with piercing red orbs noticed the two arrivals from behind his heavily buried desk, and stood up to greet them.
“Tarkin, what have you brought in today?” He stated dismissively, as he thoroughly examined Anakin’s unshaven chiseled features.
“Thrawn, I want you to book this individual for resisting arrest for carrying a deadly concealed weapon.” Tarkin stated, placing the lightsaber hit in Thrawn’s hand. “He said he uses it for hunting.”
Thrawn looked vindictively at Skywalker.
“What do you hunt? Bantha?” Thrawn laughed, before taking over from Tarkin. “I’ll take him downstairs and get him checked out.”
“While he’s down there, clean him up, he smells like an animal.” Tarkin repulsively remarked, before relinquishing authority of Anakin to Thrawn.
Thrawn and Tarkin were old friends, who had gone through the ranks together. Both had an insatiable appetite to purposely control everything that fell within, and sometime beyond their jurisdiction. That feeling of control fitted perfectly with the responsibilities both had not only undertaken, but had abused to certain extents. Thrawn continued where his affiliate had left off, prodding Anakin in the lower back, as he pushed him down the stairs.
Anakin looked back intensely over his shoulder at the sadistic individual, but remained within his limits. It wasn’t the first time he had been in hostile conditions; some of the deep terrain prison camps where he was tortured barbarically by Separatist forces would send pulsating chills down the spines of those who heard the stories. Skywalker had been to Hell and back, pain had become not only his companion to the loneliness he felt away from his beloved wife Padme, it had also become his solace. Thrawn allowed a few of his minions to hold Anakin whilst he remained cuffed, as the Chiss opened up a crimson holographic data pad into the ambience.
“Your name…” Thrawn demanded.
Anakin stared past the arrogant humanoid at the several durasteel bars running vertically parallel over a small ventilation shaft. His thoughts immediately raced to the torture chamber on Kessel, where numerous enemy personnel poured animal waste over him, as he resisted their interrogation sessions. Their sickening laughs easily suppressed the questioning from Thrawn.
The blue Chiss agitatedly placed his enforced staff under Anakin’s chin, aggressively forcing him to lock eyes.
“You better talk to me…I’m starting to dislike you, a lot.”
Skywalker stood firm in the face of adversity. Telling his name, as harmless an act as it could be would be him succumbing to a bully, a tyrant. All those murderous soldiers were unable to break him, today was going to be no different.
“Take him away; he needs to be cleaned up!” Thrawn ordered, instigating his subordinates to take Anakin towards the shower.
The crew watched on in amazement as Anakin removed his shirt, showing visible scars traversing his entire chiseled torso. The lacerations were so deep, that they had permanently mutilated the once flawless bronzed flesh of the Jedi Knight.
“What has he been into?” Once asked subordinates asked in both horror and curiosity.
“I don’t care what he’s been into.” Thrawn replied coldly, before turning to Anakin. “Turn around and place your hands behind your head.” Anakin quietly obliged, only to be sadistically bludgeoned in the lower back by the Thrawn’s enforcer staff. Skywalker gasped, as he collapsed to the ground.
“What was that?!” A concerned staff member asked.
“Tarkin said to clean him up.” Thrawn kicked Anakin in the ribs, whilst he lay defenselessly on the floor. “So, clean him up!”
They stripped Anakin naked, and blasted him with a water hose. The intense pressure of the water forced the Jedi Knight against the wall, he momentarily thought of pushing through with the Force, but his tolerance had still not been breached. A few moments later, Anakin was partially clothed again, and held by Thrawn.
“Time to shave him.” Thrawn laughed.
Anakin’s eyes almost immediately became illuminated in fear, as the minion sharpened the razor blade before him.
“I don’t’ want you to cut your own throat…” He joked.
An intense flashback blinded Anakin, he could see and feel the lacerations on his body burn a bright crimson, as a torturer mercilessly carved his sculpted chest from side to side. He could see the tears falling from his beloved wife, whilst she ran her delicate fingers over them, her face cringing as if they had cut through her instead.
Anakin let out a primal scream, the Force voraciously surged through his body, allowing him break free of Thrawn’s hold, and deliver a pulsating roundhouse kick on the individual holding the blade. Thrawn picked up his enforcer staff, and challenged Skywalker to attack. Anakin easily blocked the initial attack from Thrawn, intercepting his fist, before inversely rotating, and following through with a potent side elbow smash across the jaw of the blue Chiss. Thrawn nearly buckled under the weight of the shot, but Anakin kept him upright, delivering three powerful punches into the midsection, finally allowing the beaten opponent to seek refuge on the cold floor.
Two more came at Anakin, in an attempt to overwhelm him with their numbers. The intense warrior curled his upper lip into a snarl, tackling both down with almost not issue, before knocking them out cold with elbow and forearm smashes to the side of the cranium. Anakin raced up the stairs, and straight into the main office confronting several terrified staff members. The Force ran through him, as his unyielding blue eyes caught sight of his lightsaber on Thrawn’s desk. He opened his palm, allowing it to magnetically bolt into his hand. Tarkin had heard the commotion from his private office, but before he could intervene, Anakin dropkicked him over a desk.
Anakin ran out of the facility and into the now bustling town of Hope. His ran into the middle of street, and forced a civilian off his speeder, and using it to get out of the immediate area.

7%! Well done... When I was a boxer 15 years ago that was as low as I got. I hated being hungry when I had to make weight. Dont endanger your health to get to 4%... But I have confidence you will do your best.
thanks for the PM. Keep me on this list please.
I like how Anakin refused to give a name. Tarkin has too big an ego to let him go. Let the slaughter begin.

Whoa, I think Anakin's been pushed over the edge, beyond his breaking point. This will be anything but good for the city of Hope. Good thing they didn't think him a Jedi, even with the lightsaber as a big clue. Perhaps some of that famous Skywalker darkness will be rained down upon those who would do anyone harm.

I'd say Thrawn got exactly what he deserved!
It doesn't surprise me he let the little bit of power go to he head.
Now, I just hope Anakin can get somewhere safe...
Great update

Had sometime, so I decided to get the replies in!
Ocelotl_Nesto
- Thanks for the encouragement!
You were a boxer?!
Cool!
One thing I am not doing is getting hungry, in fact I'm eating all the time.
The trick is to cycle your macornutrients, use the glycacemic index to balance hormonal responses in the blood. I've got the science down, since I have Masters Degree in it. The hardest part will manipulating sodium concentration in my body, and flushing out the water to appear lean and hard on stage.
Now that is going to be scary! LOL!!!
I know the ramifications of what I am doing could seriously affect my health and stop my body from working properly, so I've got be careful because I know I will be vulnerable.
Yes, Anakin did not give his name, it's almost liking bowing down. Lets see what happens next!
MoAngel
- Yes, Anakin has been pushed, and pushed, and I think he is going to be doing some pushing of his own!
Is the City of Hope ready for what is about to happen?! Thanks for reading!
KELIA
- Yes, Thrawn got it alright, and probably should have got it a long time ago!
LOL! Thanks for reading!
Hi everyone

- I think they picked on the wrong civilian! LOL! I saw you sig, you're on the list!
Hi everyone
- Yay, I actually managed to get another post up. Since the last post I've working to meet one of one goals, 6% bodyfat. And after five weight training a week, three swimming sessions a week, four jump rope sessions a week, three sprint sessions a week, two kettle weight workouts a week, and four bodyweight training sessions, AND modifying a my diet as planned, I've finally dropped to 6%. The amount of work I had to put in was huge! But the difference is mind boggling! I've never been this low, and somehow I'm managing to maintain it. Okay, 2% to lose before November...In the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy the next post. Can Anakin esacpe?!
First Blood
Chapter Three
The almost instantaneous wind aggressively grazed the chiseled features of Skywalker, unsettling his roguish mane, whilst he effortlessly maneuvered the terrestrial vehicle through the streets of Hope. His cerulean eyes were ablaze with an unwavering will to resist capture, as he shouted at the pedestrians foolish enough to stand in his way.
“Get out of the way!”
Thrawn cursed loudly, his feet clumsily pushed through the main doors of the law enforcement facility, as he aimed his laser at Anakin.
“You son of-“
“Thrawn, what are you doing?!” Tarkin questioned, pushing the laser to the floor. “There are civilians down out there, someone could get hurt.”
“Can’t you see that I don’t…” Thrawn spat out before understandably relinquishing his hold on the gun, and his bruised ego.
“Okay, I’m going after him. Get the cavalry to back me up. He’s not going anywhere.” Tarkin stated.
The blustery wind chillingly clung to the exposed flesh on Anakin’s partially clothed torso. His sculpted arms, shoulders, and most of his pectoral region felt the onslaught of the cold conditions. However, he had seen worse. His instincts to survive had naturally assumed control of his state of mind, dismantling the brutal elements that dared to challenge the warrior on his quest for freedom. The inhospitable conditions of the Hoth system flashed before his determined eyes, the venomous temperatures and the outrageous droid count that he battled through to see his true love. This was no different.
A war was a war, and Anakin’s war waged within.
Tarkin initiated the sirens, alerting Skywalker to his presence and his attentions. Anakin looked over his shoulder, his eyes briefly locked upon the menacing orbs of his pursuer. The Jedi pushed on, through the city of Hope and towards the mountainous region overlooking the capital of Theed. The conditions continued to grow colder, as the circulating winds created by the snow covered peaks swept through the path that Anakin had taken. But if Anakin had to brave the weather, then so did Tarkin, how much further could he go?
Tarkin stubbornly stayed in close pursuit, through muddy treks, dense foliage and up the increasingly difficult gradient offered up by the mountains. Anakin saw a narrow path, which his instincts alerted him to, he realized that navigating through it would require tremendous skill and guile, and it was time to see if his opponent was up to the task. Anakin swiftly turned his vehicle off the main path and dexterously passed through, however Tarkin was not lucky. His speeder flipped onto itself, throwing the aging enforcement officer out into the dense foliage. Anakin continued to assail the mountain, but his speeder was not designed for such treacherous terrain, causing it invert upon itself. Anakin immediately got out and continued to run up the mountains.
“You’re finished! You hear me!” Tarkin shouted as Anakin disappeared from view. “You’ve gone as far as you’re going to go!”
Anakin powered his way through the coniferous vegetation blanketing the middle regions of the mountains, his respiratory system struggled to push the freezing air of his lungs, as the wind sheathed his partially naked torso. Skywalker saw an opening where some inhabitants had previously stayed; several pieces of mechanical equipment devastated by the brutal elements were sporadically placed across the now graveyard area. Anakin let out a frustrating sigh, there was nothing to assist him. His eyes immediately caught site of a rough brown fabric large enough to be draped over his body. Anakin ignited his lightsaber and rapidly cut himself out a piece, which he pulled over his shoulders.
Tarkin anxiously waited for the Calvary to turn up.
“Where’s Thrawn?” Tarkin asked the subordinates.
“He’s coming by aerial means, he should be able to scout the target from above.” One of them replied.
“Good, I don’t want us to be out here all night.” Tarkin nodded before looking at the trained canines they had brought along. “It shouldn’t take long to sniff him out, there is only one way off of that mountain, and it’s through us. Let’s go!”
The Force screamed to Anakin whilst he used his hands and feet to climb up the increasingly vertical terrain, he fleetingly looked over his deltoid and heard the sounds of ravenous blood canines growing louder with every passing moment. The warrior continued to assail the mountain until his tracks were immediately halted by a gargantuan rock face, leading straight down into Chapman gorge. Anakin looked down the several hundred feet drop into the ferocious river surging below.
Anakin realized that he had no choice but to go down the cliff face, it was the only way to avoid confrontation with the enforcement officers stubbornly in pursuit. The gallant gladiator dropped to his knees, his mind quickly took in the situation and how best to overcome it. Anakin moved down the rock face, slowly lowering himself down the hulking mountain. The Force helped him align his body perfectly against the cliff, however the mystical ally immediately alerted him to an even dangerous threat ominously approaching through the gorge.
Thrawn sat wide legged in the hovering vehicle beside the pilot, and began to shoot at Anakin.
“What’s going on?” Tarkin questioned as they heard the sounds of lasers. “I want him alive!”
“Hold it steady!” Thrawn ordered the pilot.
“I can’t, we’re in a thermo draft.” The pilot reasoned. “Don’t shoot him; he can’t do anything from where he is. We have him.”
“If you don’t fly this thing right, I swear I’m going to kill you first.” Thrawn threatened, before opening fire again at Anakin.
Anakin groaned as he lost his grip with one hand. He knew it was only a matter of time before Thrawn got him, he had no choice. Anakin leapt off the rock face, his body fell several hundred feet through the air, crashing through the spine covered branches of several coniferous trees. The Jedi screamed in agony as some of spines cut through his right bicep, deeply lacerating it in the process.
“Padme…” Her name reflexively escaped his lips.
Anakin fell to the ground, and used every ounce of strength his battered body could muster to move behind one of the trees.
Thrawn angrily opened fire; he was fuming at the knowledge that Anakin had once again thwarted his tyrannical onslaught. Within an instant, Anakin unleashed his lightsaber and effortlessly deflected the blasts back the hovering vehicle, causing it to lose its balance. Thrawn screamed as his body fell out, crashing into the rocks below, killing him instantly in a pool of his own blood. The vehicle escaped, as Anakin moved the rocks to where Thrawn’s deceased body lay. He looked at him, before removing his jacket.

congrats on dropping another %. When this is all done you will need to send a link to the competition.
Back to the story, I like how this is following the storyline (I am glad Thrawn got his due). Now I wonder who will play the Col. Will it be Yoda or Obi?

What an intense action fic, but very emotional at the same time. If we're following the Rambo plot, then Anakin is up against the whole town of Hope in his own personal war. Well done...on both counts....story and body challenge.

First Blood - Anakin Skywalker, AU, Crossover, Short story, 08/18
Loved all the action!
And its always nice to see Thrawn get what he deserves
Though I don't know how good it will do Anakin with Tarkin still on his trail.
Great update

- Thanks so much for the kind words.
It was extremely difficult to drop to 6%, but it was worth it.
I will at the least send you a PM with a pic of myself from the competition, I guess after all my talk...I owe you this. A pic of me.
I'm glad that you're enjoying the storyline, and yes Thrawn had it coming, didn't he?
Yes, who will play the Col.?

- Yes, Thrawn got it alright.
Thanks for the kind words!

- Your words mean a lot, and it will be getting more intense and even more emotional as we delve deeper into Anakin's mind.
And yes, if we are following Rambo, then it truly is Anakin against everyone standing in his way?!
KELIA
- I'm thrilled you enjoyed the post!
Yes, Anakin's got rid of Thrawn, but will Tarkin be following suit?
Hi everyone
- Once again I'm floored by your responses, it really does bring a smile to my face when I read them.
Again, I'm not sure when I can post next, it depends on my hectic schedule, and the recovery periods.
I do plan on finishing this before I prepare in my final week in Atlanta before heading to South Florida. I hope to post for you guys soon, apologies if I don't.
