I imagine that if they're using Moore's tactics, the truth of the matter has been manipulated, distorted, and otherwise lost. I won't dispute the hilarious irony of the situation, though.
For Michael Moore Hates America, there's actually a whole segment relating to Davidson (Michael Moore's home town) that basically dealt with manipulation, where they initially had only mentioned part of the documentary they were doing (one aspect of it looks at basically how America really isnt that bad, looks at just in the Flint area how people are working on improving their lives and trying to live the cliche "American dream") without mentioning Michael Moore. After the interview, there's a filmed discussion between the guy doing the documentary and his cameraman about the issues with what they did, culminating in them recontacting the guy from Davidson they interviewed and apologising and explaining the full premise of the documentary to see if it was still alright to use the interview or not.
There's also interviews with both a documentary film maker (whose name I can't recall) and Penn Gillette about how bias and opinion is involved in a documentary.

I get what your saying Lowbacca, I really do. I actually agree with alot of what your saying when you break it down point for point. He does come from privlege. His family did help him in his career financially. Theres even old world progeny somewhere high up in his family tree that could easily be his bat line. He can be sneaky, arrogant, and manipulative. I just dont agree that his motives and agendas are as close to self serving as your making it out. Robert Kennedy was all of those negatives X20 and nobody seriously doubts his genuineness towards the poor in this country or the tremendous role he played in the civil rights movement. Moore's hearts' in the right place, I believe overall he's telling you the truth - or at the very least posing extremely valid questions to people, no matter how propagandized the delivery is and yes, I do concede, even the message sometimes. - ( Even a leftist like me can think of a million legitamite reasons why Bush sat still for a few minutes that day - thats been blown soout of proportion and its really a loser for everyone who uses it - Bill Maher, George Carlin, Bush haters, 9/11 conspiracy theorists, and myriad of other people I respect. Everyone should just stop citing it. )

Skewing data, misquoting, and taking things wildly out of context is considered "telling the truth" these days?

Luckily for you, I'm not going to reduce myself to attacking you on a personal level. I'm a little disappointed you feel that we can only communicate in a scathing manner, but some things are out of my control.
