Has anyone heard anything about this philosophy known as Jediism? I have little information about it but would like to learn more.

PsionicMasterOrion, Quixie is correct. You need more of a discussion orientated focus here in the Senate.
What do you already know about it? What aspect do you want to examine? Your topic can stay here, but we need to know more about what you are interested in examining. "Fill in the blanks" so to speak.

I know a lot about it, actually. I have a PH.D in Jediism from the Jedi Studies school at Skywalker Ranch. It is the philosophy of being single, focusing your thoughts on Star Wars, and only Star Wars, and making SW fan films on the weekends. You will get your midichlorian count upon completion of the program. Jediism policy and practice 101 is the first basic course towards knowing the good side and dark side, and incorporating that into the politics of today.

Didn't Scientology begin as from a sci fi story, too???? I suppose one has to follow the way the see most clearly. Were they to look, though, modern jediists (?) would see/and read that Lucas actually drew on current religious/spiritual theme taht exist throughout the world.
To create a new religion based on a sci fi depiction of another religion is not just redundant, but also repetitive.

I am an actual Jedi. I believe in the Jediism faith. Jedi have, in no way, any affiliation with Star Wars or George Lucas. We don't plan on making extended space travel available any time soon. It really gets on my nerves when people compare us to Star Trek fans, saying that they should have their own religion and everything. OUR RELIGION IS NOT FROM STAR WARS. Jediism is a religion which requires great commitment. You have to train your mind to watch your thoughts, etc. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.
