Brilliant. Worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi.

Awesome stuff. I've always loved the parallels of Star Wars. It's one of the most intriguing things about the saga in my opinion.

Excellent parallels. If it one thing that I give SW (both OT and PT) is that it keeps to a common theme!

Also, the shot where Anakin looks up with hatred in his eyes after his mother has died, just before he kills the Tuskens, mirrors the shot of Luke looking up after lowering his head at seeing the homestead destroyed, and his aunt and uncle dead. Of course, Anakin's is in the dark with firelight on him - but Luke is outside in the daylight.

Nice work, _dArTh_SoLo.

This makes me view the Saga with more admiration and respect than before.

Ah! There they are!
The senate is the most obvious one.
To see just what state the galaxy is in, all one has to do is look at Coruscant in an establishing shot.
Sith in TPM, dark at night.
Beginning of AotC - Clouded and foggy.
End of AotC - Lightning clouds start to gather as Dooku's sip approaches. Then it enters and the sky is red. This continues into the clone launch.

It's not what this thread is for I know, but it helps to reinforce the senate parallel.

Well, I'll just pick out my favs. from this 2nd set of excellent pics (thanks again to _dArTh_Solo happy :

Obi Wan looking at Luke (after Owen's/Beru's tragedy):

Obi Wan probably would like to know with concern/looking for some sort of answer what this young boy will say (who is walking up to him from after the discovery of Owen/Beru’s death).

Luke then realizing that there is really nothing left as his foster parents, so to speak are dead. Luke then resolutely decides or promises that he’ll become a Jedi, like his father who in truth he is only told about.

Luke at the same time, has no idea, how exactly how his journey would be to become a true Jedi. .

Then look at Ep. I (mirror yet somewhat role reversing):

Anakin is asking with concern what will happen to him, as he basically has nothing left really, since Qui Gon a foster parent, if you will and the only one to believe in him is dead. Anakin is looking for some sort of answer.

But in this case, it is Obi Wan who is telling Anakin, what exactly will happen- that he’ll become a Jedi . Obi Wan tells Anakin, since it was a promise made by him to Qui Gon who in truth told him to do it .

Obi Wan has really no idea how Anakin’s journey will be like to become a true Jedi.

My other fav. I'll get back on that. Hope no one fell asleep trying to decipher, what I was trying to say.

Morgan, those were some amazing comparisons. While I was aware of a few, there were several I hadn't noticed before.

Beautiful.

The only two that were truly odvious are from the Lars moisture farm. The real reason I posted those is to get a sense of how the shots differ from the two pictures....and really the dinner scene is just shown from the opposite side of the table in AOTC from ANH.

An eerie memory of the past gives me chills, since that is where Anakin made HIS proclomation....the become the most powerful Jedi ever.
