IMO it would be more interesting if it wasn't. Especially because if anyone in the galaxy would have access to that kind of information, it would be the Emperor, and then he would know right where to look.

^ ^ Hey, that's a good point. The little fella just seems so at home there. Green froggish humanoid, swampy environment: it seems like the obvious conclusion to draw. But since the Emperor would doubtless seek him there if it was known as his homeworld, we might as well postulate some other swamp world as Yoda's home.

I've never thought that Dagobah was Yoda's home. I always assumed that Yoda chose it for it's obscurity. And what the above poster said, that Palpatine would think to search for Yoda on his homeworld, makes a lot of sense. So I doubt that Dagobah was Yoda's home planet.

I think the only real questions I still have are "Where did Darth Maul and General Grievous come from?" They were just kind of "thrown" into those episodes...and we know nothing about them...other than what some EU book might tell...and event in books, they only graze over the general story...

I agree, although I always thought it was known that NO one knew which planet Yoda was from...
Having said that, I will mention that that is an interesting idea-that Dagobah IS Yoda's homeworld...that cooouulld work...if it's true that no one knew his homeworld...

Leia's visions of her mother still perplex me. What was the relationship between Palpatine and Plagueis?

Yes, but for those people who like to keep SW a purely cinematic experience, it's still unanswered.

It was basically confirmed in the ROTS commentary by Rick McCallum.

Leia's memories of her mother weren't satisfactorally addressed in ROTS. However, when she was born, her eyes were open and Luke's were closed.
As for the Force Ghosts, Qui-Gon instructed Yoda and Obi-Wan to study how this could be achieved while they were in hiding. It required compassion, which Anakin showed by saving Luke just before his death. It still bugs me that this crucial scene for the saga was not in the film.

I have resolved that not every question can have an adequate answer and some issues will remain a mystery. The reality is that these are six movies that were developed from '77 to '05. There will be certain plot holes or persisting discrepencies. With that said, some of the nuance of the Skywalker family story is what is lacking. There are certain things which have gone without explanation. Leia's 'artificial' memories of Padme are just one of those.
Personally, I would like to know the details of how Qui-Gon learned to become a force ghost--and how Anakin became one without the "special training" that Yoda mentions in ROTS. There are probably other issues.
I'm content with what has been explained. Some things will remain in the dark.

Yeah, I'm not bothered by the fact that certain things will remain unresolved. The thing that frustrates me a bit sometimes is that really crucial things like those mentioned about get glossed over really quickly in the films, but we get to spend I don't know how long watching a pod race unfold in minute detail.
"What do you think about this stuff about the formation of the rebellion George?"
"Ah, cut it out. It's not important."
