I think the formation of the rebellion in particular is self-evident. It might appease fans to show some of the minor characters like Arkbar gather around a table and forge an alliance--but it isn't necessary to the story. It is clear in "Revenge" that many in the galaxy would resist and oppose the new imperial government. Bail Organa makes this much clear. So it is natural to assume that they would gather together and build a militant underground organization.

Yeah, I'm not so much talking about unanswered questions (so I probably shouldn't be here should I?!) More just letting the viewers see and experience really crucial aspects of the story, rather than immersing them in tiny details. The whole OT was about the cause of the rebellion. I thought its formation deserved a bit more coverage in ROTS than it got. Sure, we know what happened, but it would've been nice to see it expanded on a bit, in light of its later significance.

Beyond EU, we might get a better explanation of his character in the upcoming movie and/or TV series.

Darth-Seldon posted: There will be certain plot holes or persisting discrepencies. With that said, some of the nuance of the Skywalker family story is what is lacking. There are certain things which have gone without explanation. Leia's 'artificial' memories of Padme are just one of those.
-Seldon
Perhaps I'm drawing my own conclusion to fill in the plot hole, but I just kind of took her memories as a sign that force sensitive children could potentially have greater levels of consciousness at birth...or at least that's the answer I satisfy myself with so my head doesn't explode.

I know it has its own thread ...
but I really love the 3 second moment Leia and Vader share in the carbonite chamber. It's big time #$$# and no one really cares about it.
Also, I wanna know why the heck that Imperial Officer just let's Bossk act like he owns the joint on the bridge.
Sorry, the "It's Vader's little personal brute squad ..." excuse is not enough.
The Imperial Navy ...................... for God's sake -- Vader backers need to lay off, give me a real answer.

Okay...this may be simple or answered somewhere but I haven't found it yet...The red and black face painting of Darth Maul and how it seems to match the ceiling painting on the Tattoine home of Anakin as a kid and Luke's home...is there significance here or just visual echoes that tie one movie to the next? Or are they really as close as they look? Seems like a painting like that on a ceiling is difficult and should have some significance.

Oh, I care. It's my favorite passage from the film, the kinda thing that screams out "TO BE CONTINUED!"
Only it wasn't.

cool .... good to see somebody sees it as big as I do. Why was it it not followed through on??????!!!!!!!!
Even though I acknowledge JEDI to be better than ESB --- I do concur with the "ESB is better directed, has great subtle moments, etc." line of thought, that have always made it the 'critic's choice'. There is no debate there.

Hey, there's no one who has more of an investment in that passage than me. It's just brimming with Greek connotations. I actually went to the absurd length of writing an alternate Ep. VI, just so that twisted father/daughter relationship could be properly addressed.
God, I love Empire.

Luke having a familiar feeling on Dagobah has always intrigued me, but seems to be largely unanswered.

Did Obi-Wan really know what hes was talking about?
In Episode III he and Anakin have a discourse that goes something like this:
"Only Sith deal absolutes."
"Don't make me kill you."
"I'll do what I must."
"You will try."
I thought this was interesting contradiction to Yoda and Lukes discourse in Episode V which goes something like this:
"I'll try."
"Do or do not, there is no try."
Now that second excerpt sounds like Yoda is dealing in absolutes to me.
What's going on here? I thought it meant that either obi-Wan doesn't know what he's talking about or Yoda is a Sith.
