So as an offshoot of the German thread, this is a thread for one and all to speak Spanish, ask any questions they have if they're learning Spanish, and learn that important question of "¿Cómo se llama tu llama?"

Like the German thread, I'd say put your English translations under a black highlight.

    ¡Vamonos!

    ¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás?

    Hi! How are you?

¿Cual es tu nombre y cuántos años tienes?

What's your name and how old are you?

    ¿Dónde vives?

    Where do you live?

Una pelicula fantastica aprender los fundamentos en español es este:

    To answer my own questions...

Me llamo Rachel (Raquel). Hace mucho calor, pero estoy bien. Tengo veinte tres años, y vivo en San Diego, muy cerca a Tijuana, México.
My name is Rachel. It's very hot, but I'm okay. I'm 23 and I live in San Diego, very close to Tijuana, Mexico.

¡Hola Sabine y Rachel (y halibut)! Me llamo Bethany y vivo en Philadelphia. Estoy bien, pero cansada.
Hello Sabine and Rachel (and halibut)! My name is Bethany and I live in Philadelphia, PA. I am good, but tired.

Hablo un poco español solamente y no le estudié en tres años.
I speak only a little Spanish, and I haven't studied it in three years.

I'm a bit out of practice, so forgive my poor grammar - I'm afraid I've forgotten many of the rules and conjugations. [face_blush]

Anoche voy a ir a Hollywood para un concierto. John Williams y el filarmónico de Los Angeles. Estoy muy emocionada; es siempre un concierto fantástico.

Tonight I'm going to Hollywood for a concert. John Williams and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. I'm really excited; it's always a fantastic concert.

    Hola,

Mi nombre es Francisco, tengo 36 años y soy originario de Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana, me mude a Puerto Rico hacen como 14 años mas o menos. Como se pueden imaginar, mi idioma principal es el Español, pero gracias a Dios también hablo Inglés.

Para lo de corregir lo que se escribe, podemos empezar con este, Miana, debe decir VAMONOS!!!!

Hello, my name is Francisco Caamano, I am 36 years old and I come originally from the Santo Domingo (Holy Sunday) Dominican Republic, I moved to Puerto Rico about 14 years ago give or take. As you can imagine my primary language is Spanish, but thanks to God I also speak English.

To start correcting what is written here, we could begin with this, Miana, it should read.

    Correcciones: Corrections.

    Desacordarse = Debe decir, Olvidarse.

    It should read, Olvidarse

Esa es la peor parte del Español, tenemos una palabra distinta para cada acción o situación, al igual que las reglas de acentuación.

That is one of the worst parts of Spanish, we have a different word for every single action or situation, just as the rules of accentuation.

    Reglas de acentuación.

Palabras Agudas = El acento se marca en la última sílaba. Solo se acentúan cuando terminan en N, S o Vocal.

    Eje. Camión, Avión, Verás.

Acute Words = The accent is placed on the last syllable. Only accentuated when they end in N, S or Vocal.

    Examp. Truck, airplane, will see.

Palabras Graves o Llanas = Nunca se acentúan Ortográficamente, pero la fuerza del acento está al pronunciarlas, este tipo de acentos es conosido como prosódico y siempre cae en la penúltima sílaba.

Eje. Plato, Mesa, Silla, Huevo, Carro, Meleficio.

Grave Words = The never have an orthographic accent, but the strength of the accent is on the pronunciation, this type of accents is known as prosodic and is always at the
Penultimate (Not sure is this word is correct) syllable.

Examp. Plate, Table, Chair, Egg, Car, Enchantment.

Palabras Esdrújulas. El acento se marca en la antepenultima silaba y siempre se acentúan.

    Eje. Púlpito, Cúspide, Ejército.

Words called Esdrújulas. The accent is placed on the antepenultimate syllable and they always are accentuated.

Examp. Pulpit, Cuspid, Pick or Top, Army.

The Rebel Legion PR Outpost has an activity tomorow in one of the malls called San Patricio Plaza. The 501st Legion PR Outpost was invited by them so that our troopers will face the Jedi tomorow. It will be fun.

(Francisco! It's great / very nice that you visit us!)

Gracias por tú correction tambien. :)
(Thanks for your correction as well.)

No se, que me recuerdo las reglas de acentuación. [face_blush]
(I don't know, if I can ever remember those rules of accentuation.)

Y que estaba la actividad? Jedi y troopers, una mixtura interesante! :D
(And how was the event? Jedi and troopers, an interesting mixture!)

    Mucha suerte, Rachel! [face_good_luck]
