To answer my own questions...

Me llamo Rachel (Raquel). Hace mucho calor, pero estoy bien. Tengo veinte tres años, y vivo en San Diego, muy cerca a Tijuana, México.
My name is Rachel. It's very hot, but I'm okay. I'm 23 and I live in San Diego, very close to Tijuana, Mexico.

I don't like going to Tijuana. Right now it's not safe.

Hablo un poco español solamente y no le estudié en tres años.
I speak only a little Spanish, and I haven't studied it in three years.

I'm a bit out of practice, so forgive my poor grammar - I'm afraid I've forgotten many of the rules and conjugations.

 

I speak slang Spanish, so I'm really not the expert either.

Anoche voy a ir a Hollywood para un concierto. John Williams y el filarmónico de Los Angeles. Estoy muy emocionada; es siempre un concierto fantástico.

Desacordarse = Debe decir, Olvidarse.

It should read, Olvidarse



Esa es la peor parte del Español, tenemos una palabra distinta para cada acción o situación, al igual que las reglas de acentuación.

That is one of the worst parts of Spanish, we have a different word for every single action or situation, just as the rules of accentuation.

Reglas de acentuación.

Palabras Agudas = El acento se marca en la última sílaba. Solo se acentúan cuando terminan en N, S o Vocal.

Eje. Camión, Avión, Verás.

Acute Words = The accent is placed on the last syllable. Only accentuated when they end in N, S or Vocal.

Examp. Truck, airplane, will see.


Palabras Graves o Llanas = Nunca se acentúan Ortográficamente, pero la fuerza del acento está al pronunciarlas, este tipo de acentos es conosido como prosódico y siempre cae en la penúltima sílaba.

Eje. Plato, Mesa, Silla, Huevo, Carro, Meleficio.

Grave Words = The never have an orthographic accent, but the strength of the accent is on the pronunciation, this type of accents is known as prosodic and is always at the
Penultimate (Not sure is this word is correct) syllable.

Examp. Plate, Table, Chair, Egg, Car, Enchantment.


Palabras Esdrújulas. El acento se marca en la antepenultima silaba y siempre se acentúan.

Eje. Púlpito, Cúspide, Ejército.


Words called Esdrújulas. The accent is placed on the antepenultimate syllable and they always are accentuated.

Examp. Pulpit, Cuspid, Pick or Top, Army.
