Hi. We like you.
Even though you dislike Torchwood, your Arteta love might save you!
This thread isn't about me.
It's about Chris.
OMG there's one more? I apologize
Hi Chris (non-caps)
The OTHER one with a fanny pack - but no kids.
Hi Chris with no kids!
I like Chris 1 and Chris 2, not to be confused with Thing 1 and Thing 2 who are totally cool but completely wierd.
Hey Chris! Looks like we're both on at the same time. I realize it's almost 2230 where you are, just thought I'd say hi. Been having fun, I presume. But really, what's been the most fun for you here so far?
Please feel free to answer sometime after tomorrow.
So how are you, Chris?
Good day at work?
Happy about Everton's loss?
Had a good Monday, actually. Spent a mite too much time checking Everton fansites in the hopes that at some point they might announce the signing of Manuel Fernandes - driving myself crazy reading all the contradictory rumours. Still, day ended with some new books being commissioned. Always positive. Dinner was hastily purchased from the local purveyor of fish and chips, and Everton's nascent title challenge looks to be on the rocks.
Be a great signing if you can get him.
So what part of publishing do you work in? I know you mentioned you see a lot of copy for sports related items, but now you mention the books. Is it mags and books that you deal with?
Thankyou, my friend.
That has just made the decision for me, regarding dinner.
Chish and fips FTW!
[Obi-Wan] Possibly... [/Obi-Wan]
Heh. That sports comment wasn't in relation to my work, it was just in reference to what I read for myself.
It's book publishing. I do a lot of work on books for academics and professional sorts. I'd love to mention some of the people we're dealing with, but I can't! If I say more than I have, I'd worry about having said it. That's not to say it's anything secretive, it's just I'd rather keep my mind at ease.
I was just curious.
I work within the catalogue business, but recently I have also been involved with the publishing department in my agency, and have worked on some internal mags for other companies, so I just wondered.
Ah so it's you I can speak to about typos in the Argos catalogue!
I can see CHRIS has been busy with ALL of us!
It's not fair that Bri isn't here for me to play with!!
No but you can certainly speak to me about those in the Harrods catalogue.
No more funny faces with tongues attached to them for you, Mr Everton!
