Well then.

 

On Friday, I went to a baseball game and they had this amazing Italian ice. I shared the root beer flavor with my friend. It was so weird because it was like a thick ice cream but made of ice. Like WOW...

 

I've had a burger with peanut butter on it before. It wasn't American peanut butter they used on it, so it wasn't ungodly sweet, the way it melted on the patty was heaven, in a gooey burger form topped with bread and butter pickles and a couple rings of raw onion. I indeed thought it sounded kind of gross reading the menu but it ended up being really interesting and delicious.

 

Sith is so much cooler..

 

But there are no Sith in the OT. At least they're not called like that. Perhaps the word "Sith" might appear in the novelisation, but the film hasn't been redubbed for sure... they are never mentioned...

Hmmm. You're right. I just researched that and it's not true.. however, there is a lot of debating about it.

 

At the time of the OT, I think Sith was essentially just a fancy title that Vader took when he fell to the dark side. Otherwise he was a dark Jedi.

 

When Zahn wrote the Thrawn trilogy he believed the Sith to be a race. He original wanted the nogri to be Sith.

 

The Sith was originally a species of red skinned humanoids who were native to Korriban. The Dark Side tradition later took that term and used it to name a group of Dark Side users Anedon
Darth_wanderguard I read that Lucas wrote that Vader was a Dark Lord of the Sith in one of his revisions (4th draft in January 1976).

 

I know, I just said Zahn assumed that when he first wrote the trilogy, like he also assumed in the clone wars the Jedi had fought against the clones.

 

I thought I read that at one time, where the Nogri were to be Sith, now you've reminded me who said it. Anedon

 

I'm glad that's false. Even when they're the big bad guys, I can't imagine anyone calling themselves "The Damned." As a matter of fact, I've always liked the bad guys that truly enjoy what they're doing. They're not and flat out angry all the time. Bond villains are good at that. Auric Goldfinger ("No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!") is a good example. The bad guy calling himself damned means they think what they're doing is wrong, IMO.
