I am Sith and deal in absolutes. It was all mine or it was never mine.
    I chose 'all mine'. [face_mischief]

But I suppose I can whip something up for you to be fair, Kronos.

I wonder if the was the sort of cake Morticia and Gomez had at their wedding. Probably did.

Maybe it's Bible related, as in the Lord saves his Divine Mercy for all humans, no matter what the evangelicals say.

Divine Mercy is basically Jesus' undying love for us. If you google it, you'll learn more than I can tell you but it's Catholic. The movie was about the special image that was painted after a nun received visions of Christ but I couldn't see the subtitles bc my glasses suck so I kinda maybe fell asleep.

Ahem Darth_Elu I am the headmistress here.

EVERYONE: What do you like and dislike about Darth Maul? What changes could Lucas have made to him?

Maul? He's a klutz. My wife and I read Shadow Hunter. The only thing we could agree on was that he backed in to each and every victory he had in there. He almost lost his life but was saved by Sidious in the end. Just sad, really.

*raises eyebrow at Halle Dray* My, my. Well, excuse my comment then.

greyjedi125, I am rather curious as to your response to Ishy's statement regarding Maul.

I disagree that he was a klutz and honestly, he should have survived into Episode II at the least IMO. His death in TPM was just a tad too early.

I've always enjoyed Maul, more so now with his arc in Rebels. He may not be a completely consistent villain, but that's what I like about him... and his fighting skills.

My only big complaint was his initial death in TPM (agree Darth_Elu) but that's disappeared since he was "resurrected" in TCW.

Maybe if Shadow Hunter had been written better I would like him more. He's got a cool look. And that double bladed lightsaber was certainly new and interesting. I just see him underestimating his enemies right down to underestimating the capabilities of OB1. "Oh, he's down the shaft. I'm going to **** with him." So, OB1 is the only Jedi that can do a force-assisted flip while calling another weapon to him?

I liked that he was a decent lightsaber duelist, and I liked his conversations with Asajj and Savage. I was sorta hoping he'd be more like an Uruk-Hai type berserker as Vader's personal assassin. BTW, can I join the official Sith Trials RP now? If not, please let me know when and what the storyline is so far. Thanks. :)

His death in TPM was very very poorly written. Maul's skills clearly show he had enough time to react from that maneuver by Obi-Wan. That was a writing/choreography fail in my opinion. And yes, his survival into TCW and Rebels is now around. I like Maul and wanted him to survive, but really…it doesn't make much sense how they did it. Am sadly against it and don't want to be. :(

I have loved him setting up his own Rule of Two and his Rebels appearance on Malachor was stellar.

That Sidious had to smack him down in person was excellent.

It's about on par with how Palpatine slaughtered all the Jedi in his office with attacks a padawan should have been able to defend. Lucas is just not a good director in general.

    *Sheev spins into discussion*

Maul had a lot of wasted potential IMO. It changed when they reintroduced him into the Cartoon but still, if it weren't for that, a lot of wasted potential.
