I don't think these refs can tell you the actual difference in those calls.

 

and then the no call on that last shot for spain. sure they're peeved.

point guard problems for spain. wish the refs would let them actually play the game.

All of the "It's a trap" references are waaaaay funnier at close to 3 a.m. Teehee.

Shot clock violation on Spain. I'd say good defense, but man, things are looking sloppy.

 

that was a good no-call. Looked like too much shooter-initiation of contact to me.

 

We should've planned ahead and had an AIM chat about the game.

yea, i know and agree. but that's been called almost every time i've seen anything similar so far. more inconsistencies by the refs.

Great first quarter, but dang that was a lot of fouls. At the rate they're going, they could foul out the equivalent of an entire team!

LOL! yea, you could say that. however having the depth to compete with the US is... somewhat impossible i think.

So, now that I'm semi-awake and can see the screen, I've noticed that Spain's ball movement has suffered a little bit in the second quarter and USA is anticipating more of it. I can see them shifting a little here or there. Pretty sweet. Way too much for 3 a.m. analysis.

Oh, and there are more fouls. Like you didn't already know or anticipate that.
