Sth Bend, IN 08-31-01 Meeting!

Our next meeting WILL be and RPG meeting. Next Friday, August 31st. All are welcome! Our gamemaster Knnos returns to South Bend today, so he should be ready to play by Friday I think we will be rolling up new characters, but I'm not sure.

This is Commander KnnOs, back from shore leave. I have things all ready to go but I didn't want to start off a new campaign, there are MANY things left to be done out in the Elrood sector. I'd be happy to welcome NEW players, but for you three plan-wreckers, I think keeping your current characters is fine. Unless you really wanted to switch over and do a Dark Side campaign or something. My vote there is no because I've got some things planned in the Elrood sector I never got to use with my RPG friends at home and I really want to see how they work out.

 

Friday sounds great to me. Maybe Our GM will have even learned wookie by that time.
Knnos you did get the book by Ben Burtt, correct. If not I will bring it. And did you get a vehicle?

 

forgot to mention that in all likely hood I will be working until 5:00. After work I can just jump unto the bypass and be there by 5:30 at the latest.

While I DO have my car here in SB, I'm only supposed to use it for school things and going to get my prescriptions every month, can I get a ride?

Also on a related note I need everyone to help me grab a copy of the Rebellion Era Sourcebook next month, if you see it buy it and I'll reimburse you.

This brings up a question of mine, I saw the announcement for the NJO Sourcebook, the question rapidly becomes "will they do a Sourcebook for the NR era?" I hope they don't through the baby out with the bathwater over a few bad books. Then again, I'd rather see them devote an entire Sourcebook to the X-wing Series, comics and novels. We'll see what happens, eh? Maybe I should make a poll about this...

Uhm... actually I was going to ask you for a ride. I seem to have forgotten that I am having some minor surgery on Friday, so I now don't even know if I will be able to make it. I seem to be paying someone to selectively apply an acid to parts of my feet. I have a feeling that I will be unable to drive on Saturday because of this. but if I can get a ride I should be able to make it.

Pray for the best on this surgery.

Ya, what a rip off. I was thinking about getting a Suburban. 15 MPG That is going to suck on long hauls.
