1/2 Scale AT-ST for Halloween...

What a great night!... wow... By no means was I actively counting... but... Only served about 200 kids... but that's because so many forgot to get anything...

over 500 people came by to check it all out...

4 Jedi, 1 Stormtrooper, 1 Imp Officer, 2 Droids and 1 AT-ST...

Me and Styrofoam guy went ahead and scratch built a half scale AT-ST... of course we ran out of time and didn't get it completely detailed... which we will still do... but I think it was pretty sweet...

While we were building it was pretty cool... but when we first put that "head" on the legs... a chill ran down my spine... it was AWESOME!...

1" foam insulation Foam (Body and details)... 2" Foam insulation Foam (Feet)... 1/2" Plywood for the legs... minor framing with 2x4 (about 8 feet total)... and the rolls from Christmas paper...I believe the total cost was under $300... and about 60 hours I think... over 6 weeks...

(The droids were built by Styrofoam guy of FanForce Toronto... and yes they are fully remote and working... you'd have to ask him)

Fantastic! I bet the kids (and adults) loved seeing that. Does it come apart easily for storage because it looks too tall to fit anywhere?!

WOW! My husband and I have AT-ST driver costumes, it sure would be fun to take a picture in front of that in costume. My husband would love to have one of these.

C4 is not an event I can make it to... it will be standing over our FanForce table at TT21 in Toronto... then appearing at SFX in Toronto...
