WOW! I am so excited about this, having read about this show some months ago. I was wishing at the time that it would come to DC, and lo and behold, here it is! Tomorrow I must buy tickets...

 

I saw his show at CIII. He was incredibly entertaining!!

 

Don't recall the tix prices, but there was a group sales option. I'm all for that, if we get our act together soon to get tickets. Otherwise, I'm getting them on my own!

 

Get the group ticket info Eugenia, I would like to try to come down for this.

 

As exciting as this is, I'd rather see the one man LOTR, since I've seen one man SW twice already. We'll see if we can make it....

 

And it's conveniently timed for my birthday, which is 7/29...

The Woolly Mammoth theatre is still around?? I saw Rocky Horror the play there a long long time ago when I was in high school! My parents took me, heh heh.

The 1-man SW is good. Have fun!

 

That was the last time I was there too - for Rocky! I wasn't in high school though... I thought it closed too.

If I can get a head count of how many are interested, I will give them a call to find out the scoop on group tix.

I caution you, however, that it is a trap.

 

What happened to the research on group prices? And which date were we actually going to go?

 

Sorry - got a bit distracted. It turns out, there's no group tickets. A friend of mine is going on the last Sunday (the 30th? 29th?) at 7 pm, and she was buying us tix as a present, if we'd like to make that the date.

That said, I'm sure I can be convinced to go another day, just not that Friday or Saturday - I have no problem with weekday showings, but others might.

I defer to the nerdherder.

I was just about to bug you about that since I responded 2 weeks ago and hadn't heard from you. Target & I are free on the 2nd.

 

I'd suggest everyone who is interested, go on line and grab tix for the evening show on the 30th. As time gets closer, maybe we can meet up for dinner or something before. (I may not be able to meet before, as I'm supposed to go to a belly dance workshop that weekend - only the price hasn't been posted yet so I may not be able to afford it. In that case, the whole weekend is free!)

It's not a big place though. Or at least, it wasn't when I was last there. In the 90's. To see a live version of Rocky Horror.
