Chic, IL 1000 days to the best Star Wars movie ever!

OK, OK, they haven't revealed the actual release date of Episode III, but going on Lucas' previous episodes, I am guessing it will be about Wednesday, May 18, 2005. And if so, we are at 1000 days, baby! Tomorrow and we're in triple digits!

 

Hoooooo... 1000 days, I can't. hardly wait.

 

Then again, it's 1000 days til the end of life as we know it. That is, if Lucas forbids anyone else from continuing the saga.


Boy, can I bring people down or what..............

 

Sadly enough, Mark, that's what I tend to think about when someone mentions EpIII.

I feel more sad than happy. That, coupled with the fact that the movie itself will be a sad tragedy, I know I'll be crying when I walk out.

Yeah, it sucks that the Star Wars saga is almost over. I'm just hoping that they go out with a blaze of glory - not with a big pile of Phantom Menace.

Eh, TPM had a way better first impression on me than AOTC did.
I still love TPM. (yes, go shoot me. )

TPM is on the same level as AOTC, as ANH, as TESB, and as ROTJ. They're all special to me for different reasons.

 

Yeah seriously... TPM had it's obvious um... flaws... but it was a great movie...

Do people really hate it just because of Jar Jar?.... or because they expected so much more?... you can't expect TPM to be like the other films, considering the entire movie is suppose to be an expository setup for FIVE other movies...... what goood would a story be if the first 1/6th of the film was action packed or simply energized?... that's not how stories are told........

Well, you can really flame me...
I liked both PM and AOTC as much as I like the original Trilogy....

When I saw Phantom Menace the first time...well I was disappointed..but I went back to see it a second time and LOVED it...go figure...went back to see it at the theater 4 more times...

Same thing with AOTC.....first time I saw it...kinda disappointed....went back to see that 5 more times....LOVE IT!!!

So...

Jar Jar annoyed me at first ...but then I got used to him....

Hayden's acting...Jake Lloyd's acting?...not up for an Oscar...but I thought they both did great....

Amen sista'... I like Jar Jar, even doe GL over did it with him; I stil like the guy. About Jake Lloyd he was a lot better than Cris Hayden.

About TPM; I'm with Synasp (even doe is rated the last one in my list) It did explane a lot of stuff and set up the scenario for the rest of the collection.

About AOTC; the more I saw Cris Hayden the more I hated it. I went to see Star Wars not "90210" or "Days of our Lives". The only thing that did it for me was the battle scenes.

Over all, the CGI and blue screen stuff really SOCKS (taken from the "SockWars" vocabulary)

So if you want to shoot me, or burn me...GOOD LUCK!!!

 

Under 1000 days - .....hmm then the first cirlcle will be complete - and there will be answers...
and more questions....
and somehow I think that it will not be a difinitive end....
I feel like I am drwan to this like a moth to a flame....
