Full Series 100+ things we have learned from Resistance

this is a thread made in a similar vain to the one about Rebels and TCW

Name some stuff we have learned from the show and let’s see if we can get it all the way to 1,000. The responses can be both serious and funny

1.) Poe Dameron and Phasma are appearing, perhaps Phasma might even do something

 

2. Oscar Isaac will be voicing Poe!

 

3. It will be 2-D instead of 3-D animated and anime-inspired!
4. Dave Filoni is back with it.
5. Gwendoline Christie will return to voice captain Phasma
6. It will start airing Fall 2018

 

7.) It will be set within 6 years of the force awakens.

 

8.) There will be X-Wings in it.

 

We know that it is anime inspired. It almost certainly will be completely animated using cel-shaded 3D CG, not 2D.

 

Huh, if it was anime-inspired it was be cel-shaded 2D. Not many anime use 3D characters and it genuinely looks awful as it removes a lot of the "anime" and makes it looks like they can't make up their minds between 2D and 3D

 

Maybe you will be surprised then when you see how good it can look when done well with today's technology.

 

Have you seen Berserk, Inuyashiki, Seikaisura Kado? 3D cell animation that's trying to copy the anime art style can look quite bad.

 

9) Don't think about the throwing and the falling over there

 

10) The animation style is objectively much better than TCW and Rebels

 

11.) Ezra has an illegitimate son.

 

12.) The New Republic will finally have a presence

 

13. Rainbow-painted X-wing type ships are a thing.

 

14. BB-8 and Poe will be in it

 

15. We'll see Leia and thats always a good thing

 

16. Ahsoka imposting Gandalf the Grey, hobbit Ezra from Under the Bridge, Thrawman the Blue, and a tiny ring coming from a set of twenty.

 

17.) It is taking the same formula as the last two shows lead characters.

 

18) Dave Filoni likes the number five

 

19.) People also call this show “for” children just like the last two.

 

Now that some actual episodes have come out we can get this truly started
20.) Kaz is the worst spy to ever live in Star Wars

24.) Engines and water do not go well together
25.) People do not know when to say thank you

 

26. Never judge a movie or TV show by a Trailer, Some fans did that because of the last jedi Backlash and Resistance is Awesome and I knew it would be a Good show.

 

27. Neeku talks too dang much.

 

I assumed both Kaz and Neeku would be annoying. But the writers actually did a decent job with them.

 

I love how he takes everything literally
