Use fractions and a strange Roman/Arabic numeral combination in your film episode numbering.

    :D

We already have such a thread.

    But anyway:

Keep the time lightsabers are ignited in the fanfilm according to the whol movie's lentgh. That means: When there`s a 2 hours Star Wars with 10 minutes of lightsabers you should avoid getting more than 60 seconds of lightsabers in a 12 minutes fanfilm :)

    Use whiffle-ball (R) bats for lightsabers. :)

    Guilty.

(It makes rotoscoping really hard, and you end up with lightclubs instead of lightsabers)

Pfft! Nuts to that. The lightsaber:film ratio should be approximately 1:1.

This is things NEVER to do in a fanfilm. And didn't we already have a thread kinda like this a little while ago?

..Then again, why am I complaining about redundancy on THIS forum, of all places?

Never use fractions in a serious fanfilm title.

Never have your characters quote from the actual saga unless its 'May the Force be with you' or 'I have a bad feeling about this'. If you don't know what I mean, go watch Dark Redemption. If you don't roll your eyes at the lines you shouldn't be writing any kind of script at any time.

Never CG characters such as Jango Fett or Darth Vader. Not even ILM can make that look perfect. Call up the 501.

Never mispronounce names like Boba Fett. Its 'Bow-buh' not 'bob-ah'.

    More later maybe...

    or not.

lol. In any case. I think it is actually a good idea to have "I have a bad feeling about this" at least once, seeing it is said at least once in every SW movie (new TV spot for ROTS confirmed this)

I agree. "I have a bad feeling about this" should be in your film. So long as it's not forced and actually fits the story. I love this line.
