Wow. Holy hell. I never thought they'd ever actually do it, but they actually did it. While I'm personally more excited for Star Wars Resistance, I'm unbelievably hyped for everyone who's been hoping this would happen for years. I hope it's everything you guys want it to be!

called it over a year ago. That they would announce something big for the 10th anniversary. But didn't expect a tv show, thought more of a movie of sorts.

Just announced by Dave Filoni at San Diego Comic-Con during a 10th anniversary celebration of the beloved animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be returning with 12 all-new episodes on Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming service. Created by George Lucas, the show first aired in 2008 and became an entry point into Star Wars for an entire generation, following fan-favorites like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala, while introducing major new characters like Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. Its stories were complex, its heroes and villains were perfectly imperfect, and its look was captivatingly beautiful. It became a multi-Emmy winner and is now regarded as essential Star Wars.

I think that’s why they’ve done it. Sooooo excited. Just wish they had kept the old animation style for continuity.

I wonder which other 2 arcs are being saved? I hope they aren't the other 2 Ahsoka arcs I would rather see other stories focused on different character such as the Dark Disciple, Son of Dathomir or the Bounty Hunter arcs.

We won't get Dark disciple or son of dathomir since they were already adapted. My bet is bounty hunter and another Ahsoka arc for the other 2. Maybe the rex/r2 or the yoda arc?

I can't care less for moar asoka. she alredy has more than enough episodes.
And she also has her unfinished story arc adapted in a book.

I would be happy to see Dark Disciple and Son of Dathomir (because Pykes).
