    ORDER CLOSED

    AN-H-15 Summer Flight Helmet Mock-up

    Sarnia is getting the pattern, and she & I will be working on making these for everyone. Once we have more intell, it will be announced.

    Spats

    I have the pattern for these, once I know how many people will be participating, I'll find the material and start working on cranking these out. I think it's going to be much easier to get once batch of materials and do the sewing all at once. After I get the first one made, I'll make the final call on the availability. For those that want to sew on their own, I could also put all of the materials together and pass it to you that way. For this project, I'll make the spats at cost.

    Boots

    Israeli Scout Boots are available for $23 each (Men's Sizes 8-11), and we can get a group rate on the shipping if a bunch of us order at once (as apposed to $17-18 each by ordering separately through other sites).

    ZOO - Size 9
    AR - Size 9
    Sarnia - Size 9

    *Once I know how many pairs, and the sizes, I'll get the shipping amount and put out the price to everyone.

    Duster

    Consists of 2 white lab coats. The end of one is cut off and sewn to the end of the the other to get the almost floor length duster. It is then dyed with Tan Liquid RIT Dye. *See Camo Pattern for further intell

    Flak Vest

    Pattern is available, and Sarnia is working on possibly providing this item.

    They come in a pack of 5 pair. Based on their order form, if we order 10 total, then the cost will be 43.76, or roughly $5/pair. Not too shabby.

    Glove order interest list:

    • Bill

    Also, Zoo and I were talking about the possibility of making a crew served weapon. Something along the lines of this:
    [image=http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/thumb/0/0e/Hothbattle1.jpg/300px-Hothbattle1.jpg]

    It looks like something that could be made out of parts from Home Depot pretty easily, and would make for a good focal point for group photos. [face_devil] Is there an interest in making a tripod mounted heavy machine gun?

    Yuppers... To the AOL addy

    And I think the reason would be that it could be your only royal costume that's flippin' easy to wear [face_laugh] ;)

    :D o_O ...possibly. [face_laugh] Actually, the blue tatooine poncho one is pretty easy to wear. So is handmaiden Padmé (from episode 1) - even though it's HOT (having your arms and legs wrapped up to the mid-joint kinda sucks). ;) But, yeah, it's these friggin' headdress and petal-cape bits that get complicated. 8-}

    Okay, chalk me up for a bed-pan.

    d'oh!! :oops: I need your aol address. :[face_sigh]: thought I had it, but I don't, and I don't remember it off the top of my head.

    Until I actually get my HANDS on a pattern, see what it takes, and figure out fabrics I have no way of even estimating how much.

    As soon as I know I can let you know=)

    There's always the subdued pink paratrooper version - http://www.outinstyle.com/p-CF-WOMENVINTAGE/RCO-3996.html. ;) And, hey, we have/are seamstresses. The real broads can be accounted for. :D

    Obey, if you want the girls to wear those, then you have to wear this. Fair is fair. :p

    How about I just get a kilt instead? ;) :)

    Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that it has the words "Brazillian" and "Speedo" in the link? [face_laugh]
