    Austrian news reported that one of the airport bombs was detonated directly in front of the American Airlines counter. No news yet about the nationalities of people killed that I could see.

    French Govt this morning said the State of Emergency would not be extended. Looking like it will, now.

    Honestly worried about potential ramifications; French is on a knife-edge at the moment. The head of their intelligence service warned France was one attack away from civil war.

    My friend who lives in the Lyon area has been on vacation in Spain and Portugal and was driving back into France as of yesterday. It's crazy late there and yeah yeah yeah, Lyon is not Nice, I know my French geography, but still hoping she'll check in.

    And definitely not a coincidence that it was Bastille Day.

    I feel like snarking that this could have been prevented by a good guy with a truck.

    Well that is even more difficult to answer than a group of organization that want specific demands met.

    But yes, I shouldn't jump to conclusions that it is a terrorist attack from a specific organization. Too soon to say who right now.
