Chapter Eight - The Battle of Utapau

IC: Dade Leviathan played by MarcusDade

Dressing himself ? thankfully ? Dade Leviathan, Marcus Rand to these Twilight Knights, considered what he was to do. They were clearly mostly in their teens, grappling for the Twilight in a way which could only be considered naive, not understanding the gravity of their decision. He idly wondered if he had ever met their founder, this Kogun Shay, who had abandoned them until the right time to rebel became evident ? when the Sith emerged from hiding and were the most taxed. Dade had discovered the Twilight Grandmaster had died at Hapes, that much these Twilight Jedi were aware. Without him their position seemed obvious ? defend the Utai and Paun?s to the death. But this system was not without its history in the dark side, as the fortress of Darth Desolous and the capital of Lord Tyranus? Confederacy of Independent Systems. Dade, with a much older and more accurately attuned sense in relation to eddies and currents in the Force, found himself drawn down into the sinkhole. He didn?t have much time ? the Sith Imperials had mined the system, and would be amassing a task force shortly.

Dade wondered about this ?Vincent Mikaru?, realised he was practically a clone of a same named man back on Sekot. The Twilight Templar was not Kage at this time, and he believed communicating with the older version would only expose Sekot?s new location ? moved since the Sith-Imperial War had broken out, his senses in the Force told him. Dade was old ? centuries old, as a matter of fact, but he aged remarkably slowly, a year for everyone else perhaps aging him an hour or two. He had been a Jedi, and then a Sith ? yet not a tool of these One Sith. They were a new threat ? not to him or the Templars, of course, but they would become so if they targeted them. The Jedi and Sith were just as inclined as each other to meddle in the Twilight, and Dade had no time for either schismatic sect. He paused, and looked up, suddenly detecting what had drawn him down.

Dade idly wondered if Darth Tyranus would have found this, if he?d survived Coruscant to regroup at Utapau. The Templar pulled down the Sith Holocron of Darth Desolous from its shadowed perch, and rolled his eyes, unimpressed. These irritating baubles made the Sith rabid, and he idly wondered what he could achieve with it. Tucking it into a fold of his robes, Dade made his way back to the command room, feeling reinvigorated by the short trek into the catacombs.

?Alright ? I know what we need to do. And we?re going to do it my way, or you won?t receive my help at all.?

He is Dade Leviathan and this is the Sith-Imperial War.

Somewhere on Coruscant, the New Year?s celebrations rang out. It was 129 ABY. The year of Betrayal was over. What would follow?

IC: Li Sal played by Sinrebirth

?Alright ? I know what we need to do. And we?re going to do it my way, or you won?t receive my help at all.?

Li Sal rolled his eyes at that. ?Typically ? first you fall from the sky and now we have to listen to you. Because clearly we couldn?t have defended ourselves, planned this for three years, without your intervention ? we?ve mined the system and amassed a fleet ? sixty reconditioned Rendilli Dreadnaughts from the Utapau Fleet. Enough to engage, what, three of those new Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers??

?Then what about afterwards?? said Dade, shrugging, the Koudminshu not particularly attached to what happened to these youngsters, and their toys, after all ? he was Dade, not a nursemaid. ?This ?Darth Zeron? Kev-Mas fought against,? again Dade wondered about the links of these youngsters to his own Templars, as if the Force had created this parallel to teach him something, but he pushed it away. If he didn?t concentrate, they were all going to get killed ? Dade wasn?t fully healed, and he could hardly protect them, like he perhaps would have been able to a few days ago ? ?Do you think he?ll just roll over once you blow

You've got people who even know the outcome going "Does Vincent die!?!" :p I don't know if thats a good or bad thing Sinre :p I do like it, aside from a few bits and pieces that makes me want to spam you with wiki links, but eh, it doesn't detract from the story in anyway. Its very good. Also, about Alastor's bit earlier, you should warn the galaxy to be afraid, very afraid. :p

Chapter Nine - The Battle of Alsakan

IC: Cavan Shenn played by Rilwen_Shadowflame

The Zeltron Sith known as Cavan Shenn, a young man in an adults body, bounced towards the bridge, followed by the Sith Athame, himself a man of similar age, shook his head, leaving the bedchamber and wandering after Cavan, who had awakened him with news that they were to shortly arrive in the Alsakan system.

Tasked by Lord Ky?el with ruining the negotiations between the child Princess Sia Fel and the Galactic Alliance, they were to ensure that the Princess was terminated. Aboard an ancient Trade Federation megafreighter, the vessel secured some time after the Killik Crisis and escorted by seven ?Galactic Alliance? frigates, the force had struck at Csilla to draw them into the war early last year, and since then Cavan had been held back, learning from his Master Lord Ky?el ? the Chiss.

Cavan was a paramour amongst the Sith, hardly taken serious, but immensely dangerous for it. Having slew his fair share of Jedi during the first year of the war as part of his training, Cavan didn?t need to be taken seriously ? his reputation preceded him in the Sith. Infinitely pleased with himself, and wondering when his cartoons would be on ? he might have to record them if the battle dragged on. As he checked his chrono, pain filled him, and Cavan suddenly felt a massive loss, his master ? a father-figure for him ? wrenched from him.

    Snap-hisss

Cavan looked back at Athame, still panting with pain. In a child like fashion Cavan blinked, saw as Athame held the lightsaber pointed at the Zeltron. ?You?re still going to betray me after I showed you all my stuff??

    ?You knew??

?I received a message from Lord Ky?el the moment we decanted the edge of the system. The last leg of the run now, remember?? Cavan waved the piece of flimsiplast, dabbing his eyes. That episode of Wookie Moon was particularly insipid yesterday, wasn't it?? Cavan didn?t let the heart and stomach suddenly in his throat stop him. ?And you didn?t answer my question, honey.?

?Yes,? said Athame, unmoving. Cavan grew deadly serious, knowing full well that he was getting angry. Hopping from foot to foot, he leapt away as Athame slashed at him, grabbing his lightsaber and comlink and speaking to his droid commander. ?OOM-14 ? open fire on any Imperial or Chiss vessels upon reversion.?

Athame yanked the comlink from Cavan?s hands, and held it to his ear. ?Hear that? It?s static. I?ve jammed it ? I am a Maleficarum, a Sith dedicated to ending your personality cult. I believe the last orders to OOM-14 were to open fire on Alliance vessels, perhaps?? Athame smiled, evidently pleased with himself. He?d come a long way from assisting the Twilight Jedi in rebelling, back on Utapau. He?d departed almost immediately after victory, and here he was now.

?Oh really,? said Cavan, who?d never even met Darth Krayt. ?Whatever.? Cavan leapt forward, and in a graceful exchange, leapt past him, rolling and coming up on all fours, blade held in his mouth. Athame blinked, and Cavan flashed his eyes, bounding forward. He tugged back on his head with the Force, the rest of his body darting forward, Cavan gliding across the floor. Athame dumbly slashed down, and Cavan knocked aside the blow and cut, splitting Athame in half as he passed between his legs.

    Victory.

And, with that, Cavan popped to his feet and rushed to an escape pod. Cavan Shenn was about to be unleashed upon the galaxy, and he needed to get down to Alsakan quickly ? firstly, because the Federation battleship was likely to explode in the next few minutes, but, also because, if he didn?t hurry he?d miss his cartoons.

Then he?d deal with his father?s murderers. He?d understand. He always did.

He is Cavan Shenn and this is the Sith-Imperial War.

Somewhere on Coruscant, the New Year?s celebrations rang out. It was 129 ABY. The year of Betrayal was over. What would follow?

    Chapter Nine

    The Skirmish at Drongar

IC: Darth Procella, played by JEDI_TEEGIRLOO

Drongar was an ancient Sith world, and, now, the site of a communications hub manned by Darth Procella ? otherwise known as the Saarai-Kaar of the Jensaarai to the public ? and Darth Illumin, a flirt if there ever was one. However, that second title of Procella had resulted in the Jensaarai tracking her down and making an effort to kill her.

A pointless effort, at that, she?d concluded.

Sintell, the Jensaarai whom had months ago met with Grandmaster Skywalker to discuss the Sith assaults planned for Qiilura and Dorin, had the golden-bladed lightsaber of the original Saarai-Kaar in her hand, twirling it in a guard. Six other Jensaarai were all over the two Sith, retreating deeper into the dilapidated freighter. Danger surrounded Procella, heightening with every moment, with every step she took, filling the Force with a promise of death.

With a scowl, Procella reached out to her younger partner, and twirled about, battering two blades aside and flicking a kick out which sent a Jensaarai to the ground, landing behind Illumin, back to back. ?We?re being lured towards something,? said Illumin, growling over the lightsaber duel.

Procella nodded, but then noticed that five of the seven Jensaarai were on her side, towards the Fury-class assault ship they?d docked. She flicked aside a flurry of blows, the Jensaarai moving to block Procella?s escape from the ship ? but not directly. And then the Sith recognised that the danger was increasing even now. With a grimace, Procella finally realised the truth ? ?There?s a timer. A bomb, most likely.?

?Ah,? said Illumin, in part because he finally understood, but also because he?d just lost his saber ? and the hand attached to it ? to Sintell. Procella sighed. ?Hopeless, Illumin.?

    ?Sorry.?

?Not as sorry as you will be.? With a flick of her blade, she decapitated him and gestured, throwing the head at one of her foes and then kicking out behind her, pushing the young mans body into the path of the other two, dumping them to the ground. Pushing off the corpse, she slashed in two one Jensaarai and then rolled under a strike, running. Behind her, the six Jensaarai reached out for her, grabbing her in the Force. Procella was no lightweight in the One Sith, but she certainly hadn?t been trusted enough to learn techniques that would enable her to beat off six Force users.

Procella grabbed Illumin?s corpse and threw it at two of them, and then flicked up his deactivated lightsaber to distract another. A burst of lightning from her hand engulfed the farce, and Procella spun, fleeing to her starfighter. By the time she arrived, a knot of fourJensaarai was hacking her ship apart, and Procella snapped. ?Just how many are there??

Procella fell upon them immediately, a whirlwind of death that only grew more aggressive as the other six joined in. Combat rage took over, Darth Procella allowing her disgust at Illumin, feelings of betrayal for being carted out here to the very Rim, and general fury at the universe. Time became impossible to follow, and by the time Procella stood over the ten bodies, she was exhausted.

    Victory.

    And then, white.

He is Darth Procella and this is the Sith-Imperial War.

    The Myrkr Genocide

IC: Darth Wyyrlok played by LordTroepfchen

Darth Wyyrlok III, Loremaster of the Sith, stood aboard his personal Imperial Star Destroyer and analysed the situation. The Extolled Ones had recreated the Voxyn program with remarkable pace, preparing the resources to recreate the original prototype and clone it. They hadn?t, of course, anticipated that Darth Wyyrlok would unleash a far worse creature ? the Xenly. Dark side mutated Verpine, the Loremaster knew that they were the key to Darth Atavus? power, and thou

    The Skirmish on Ryloth

IC: Ebol Ka?Shak played by LordTroepfchen

While the Sith-Imperial war was raging, other wars came to an end. Ebol Ka´Shak watched Kala`Forn burn and with it all resistance that was left on Ryloth. This was his moment of triumph. Clans had vanished. Ka´Forn and Ka`Sarn would from now on be only mentioned in stories told by old women and he would be known as a leader. A man of greatness. He breathed the fumed air of burning flesh and grinned. If only the young Talon would have stayed. To celebrate victory. He was shaking with anticipation to meet her again. For now every woman of Clan Ka´Forn was his and he was sure he would find something to entertain him in the hour of triumph. He turned around and his grin filled his face, as he brough his massive body into the best cave of Kala`Karn, his new residence. The elder Council was no more. The Clans were now united under Ka`Shaks leadership, and he had not stretched himself.

Then his communication device blinked. The Sith. His masters wished for his attention. He turned it on immeditaely. A Sith he had never seen appeared before him. And didn´t bother to introduce himself.

"Ebol Ka`Shak. I expect you have taken leadership of the Clan into your filthy hands?" The Sith smiled. Did he know this man?

"Yes, I have. Clan Ka´Shak is ready to rule Ryloth and serve the Sith, Master!" He proudly replied.

The Sith shook his head. "That won´t be necessary. Darth Ordon is on his way to assume the position of governer and secure peace on Ryloth. You will serve as his assistant." the Sith stated coldly.

    "Assistant?" Ebol asked.

"Talon implied you could still be useful in that position. Do want to be useful, Ebol?" The nameless Sith asked. Ebol cleared his throat. He wondered if he was alone in the room, right now. Or if explosives were attached or if . . .

"Yes, Master. It will be my pleasure to serve . . ." Before he finished the sentence the hologram vanished. An hour later the Ryloth fleet welcomed a single Imperial Fast-Frigate. And the Twi´lek were slaves once more.

    Betrayal.

He is Ebol Ka´Shak and this is the Sith-Imperial War.

    IC: Ignis, played by Winged_Jedi

They met. Nilenious and Heresi, the two Sith, members of the ?Maleficarum? cult that had been founded by Yu?Dor. The three masters, their names lost to the cults embrace, had died on Hapes, Bastion and Adumar, and now Athame hadn?t reported in from Alsakan. Their objectives completed on Roon and Ziost respectively, they?d successfully distracted the Dark Lord in the Known Galaxy while Yu?Dor started the Nagai-Tof War in the Unknown.

But now even Yu?Dor wasn?t reporting in. Had they lost even her guiding hand?

An explosion erupted in the Sith Temple, the same place where Eydan Skorne had taken another step towards Darth Zorn, and Stormtroopers filed in. Sith Inquisitor Ignis, the ?Eye of Krayt?, strode behind them, and the two men cowered ? defeated.

Ignis had assembled the pieces of the violence, of the Sith faction, and tracked them to their base here, on Ryloth. They had watched as Darth Zorn was born, knowing full well that the Twilight Jedi were due to rebel, and they had possession of Darth Bane?s Holocron ? as stolen by Darth Insipid decades ago. Heresi had cost the Sith their academy on Ziost, and with Darth Mandamus and Darth Tenebrous in tow, the Inquisitor had tracked down their machinations within the Grand Imperial Union and inside Yuuzhan Vong Space, rooting out every remnant of the faction ? Darth Imperi had sought out the head, while Ignis finished off the infants.

?It?s been months, Heresi! Have you lost contact with Yu?Dor yet?? Ignis smiled, softly.

?You know we have.? The two Maleficarum scowled. They had been betrayed, and destroyed. But by who ? only members of the Maleficarum had kno
