Darth Null
    Halls - Colony

The wave hit him, but did not bring him to his knees. For once his weight was of good use, as he pressed himself against the unleashed power.

Raging he leaped up and after the enemy. And the second gangway seemed to sigh in pain under his weight, as he set down. An angry wave of his hand and the door the Jedi had just vanished behind opened. Another slash of his saber, in even grater anger and the gangway came crashing down on those laughing beneath. The sound of their amused voices drove him crazy. Their joy was unbearable, ubt he woould take care of them later. First Krelwaak. He would not fail. He would kill the Jedi.

"WHERE ARE YOU, COWARD!?" He screamed and with his red blade stormed into the corridors, behind him. "Where ARE YOU!"

Ulec laughed. "Very good. You are truly worthy of our power, young brother. Truly worthy." And with a grin he looked to the door. The others were gone again. Even Kant was nowhere to be seen. "Now we must obviously take care of one more. One that will be harder to kill, I expect." Ulec grinned and knelled beside the Dug.

Alarm. The alarm suddenly rised and the hangar went dark. The Sphere was gone. The light with it. And then a red warning began to blink, as Darth Cruor could see how blinking lights, vents, automated systems stopped working near the huge exit to space. Ionized gas. He knew it´s effect too well.

Darth Null did not see any of him. But he heard him. Above. The Jedi had made it one level higher. He was on his way somewhere. To someone. And He was almost gone . . . Darth Null had to hurry. The laughter, the laughter . . .

    Darth Null
    The Colony

Above, he was going up. Oh, good. There was less places to hide up there. Darth Null moved his fat, bulky body with as much speed as the force allowed him. Feeding on his anger, his frustration. Where was everybody else? Where?

Steps, leaps, jumps he moved higher and higher, the world becoming an irrelevant blur before his eyes. Where? Where was Krelwaak?

Unleashing his power to push back door, to destroy everything in huis way he kept on looking. Laughter echoed through the halls. And he answered it with raging screams. Screams. Ripping apart his world. "STOP LAUGHING! STOOOOP!" He screamed out and his blade began slicing through walls, through doors and celings. As if destroying the colony would make the laughter end. Somehow he was sure, not even that would work.

    Darth Cruor
    The Colony, Hangar-2

He saw the signs and he knew what it meant. The gas was entering the hangar. He, a man made of machine parts, in a nebula existing of ionized gas. A death trap. Darth Cruor did the only thing he could do. He ran. Into the direction of the deadly entry in gas form. He was shielded, surely. But among such a concentration? After the fights of the last hours? Somewhere it would enter his system. Make the well balalnced system of artificial body parts fail and ditsurb the careful system that made him life. It would become a poison more deadly than any substance he could digest. And he wouldn´t survive it for long . . .

Waving his hand violently, he opened the cockpit of the nearest fighter and activated every last bit of strength to speed his body. Pulling it into the air and towards the cockpit of this fighter. He would make it into a shielded ship, or he would die.

And he would not die near this thing.

He would not let it have him.

As Ulec knelled beside him, alone with the ancient Sith for the first time he merely nodded.

"My old master Darth Null." he practically spit the word master, and no service was given from his lips to the name. It was time he did his duty, if there was nothing left to envy of his old master besides time...then it was his duty to remove time from Null along with whatever else got in the way.

"Yes." it was a single word but the knowledge behind it was of how hard a kill that would be. He had seen his master fight many times, and he had very few moves his master didn't know about. Hard in a way didn't quiet meet the extent of the darkness that awaited such a confrontation.

Note - Once more for all of you. We are almost at Sct Three and therefore I will avoid colliding with my brother-games finale and we are on hiatus until 133 ABY - The Dark Odyssey is over (or we all lost all our characters there) and then we´ll finish this one . . . as you all play over there now, I think that shouldn´t be a prob.

Darth Cruor ran and leaped into the air. And as he was flying through the cokpit of the fighter, almost ripped open by his paniced call on the force, the signals began blinking inside his eyes. The blade of the Ithorian. Such a fine cut now allowed gas to enter his usually well-shielded self. And his left arm lost his lightsaber, as it died. His chest made humming sounds known, as the backup system went online and as he hit the seat of the ship, no visible yellow clouds around it, he felt his sight flicker. Black and White followed as he slammed down the sealing of the cokpit. but the cloud was inside to. His voice could not command the ship to filter. His arm activated the controls and hit the menu, but was then falling down like a piece of metal. That was what is was now. Black and White grew darker. His left eyes died down. His neck hurt. Then it was dark.

    Soundtrack - Masters

Darth Null raged through the floors. And suddenly the blade of the Jedi Master was there. Hitting the floor right next to him and cutting where Null had stood a second ago, only to fly bakc into Krelwaaks hand again. The Jedi turned and entered a security zone, heavy gates gliding into the walls . . . and Darth Null saw inside someone else. Small. A Dug. Malignedy. "Shut the doors, shut the doors!" Krelwaaak screamed. "Now!" Obviously Malignedy and Krelwaak where allied. Obviously his own apprentice had betrayed Darth Null.

Malignedy saw nothing of any Jedi Master, nor did he hear the voice. He was standing there, next to Ulic. And the ancient Sith smiled. "Yes." The Dug spitted out. "Yes." Ulec repeated and grinned. That sort of grin Sith had when they were up nothing good.
The doors behind Malignedy glided into the walls and the long corridor he had used himself before was illuminated in red, as his Master came charging. Out of his mind. Rage incarnate.

"Wait." Ulec grinned. And looked down on the Dug.

"Yes." Ulec repeated and grinned. That sort of grin Sith had when they were up nothing good.

Malignedy had seen that grin many times, but never had come to trust it. Too often it not only led to the wanted success, but also the death of the other near the smile.

He did not have much time to dwell on this, as the doors rose behind him. Rose to reveal to his half turned form the charging rampage of his old Master. Bathed in red, he appeared to have lost his mental faculty, being lost to a rage that consumed him.

In that moment any envy that might have resided concerning his old Master dried in that sight, leaving merely husks of pity for once had been present. For the old, cold, and bitter being that once been so much better, but now had come so low.

"Wait." Ulec grinned. And looked down on the Dug.

This wasn't going to be a betrayal, this was a mercy killing. "Hmmm." was his only reply. He would have to rely on speed and agility to let his Master weaken further, to make his body betray him so that mercy and pity could do their work. Brute strength would not decide this battle...

    This act of pity.

The last part is by LordT. He asked me to add it. I would pity Null, but hey . . . he deserves worse :p

    Darth Null
    Command Center, Colony

Th bug had betrayed him? This little pathetic dug-thing had DARED to betray him? Krelwaak prepared to defend himself. The great Jedi Master. The Weapon Master. The feared Krelwaak. But there was no preparation against Darth Null´s rage. A scream that made the colony tremble escaped his throat. The scream of an angry, wounded, cornered animal dedicated to kill as much as possible before it´s inevitable death. And he charged. Towards Krelwaak, towards his traitorous apprentice. Towards the traitors and betrayers of his whole life. All his life he had been lied to, deceived, pushed into positions he did not dare to refuse. They had refused to accept his destiny. Had kept him from the greatness he deserved. It ended now. He would kill them. Both of them. All of them.

And a leap forward with speed nobody expected from his bulky body made his red blade crash into Krelwaaks. The Jedi almost collapsed under the impact of his strike. Darth Null screamed on, his fould breath reaching for his enemy, as if it was enough to kill him.

Slowly pushing the man to his knees. Except . . .

. . . there was no man. Nobody was there in truth and for Malignady there was only a Sithlord who had reached him in incredible speed but was not able to bring his blade down. As if blocked by an unseen force. "Now." Ulec smiled. "He is yours to take." He added.

He had brought up both blades, his own Shoto, and Kant's. Preppared to perform a running battle to wear down his Master until he was but a quivering blob on the floor unable to block the kill stroke.

    The attack never came.

His Master ran, leaping faster than he could ever remember that bulky form possessing. And then froze, inching forward with the blade as if against some great resistance that wasn't there. An evil voice whispered now, and he ignited Darth Askenis blade, holding it parallel in an open palm before hurling it with the force beneath his Master's blade to pierce the fat one's heart.

Never destroy what you leave to decay, let it's own destruction befall it when able, in this envy is sated through years of watching it progress. That is what he had been taught, but for his Master...well in this situation, the memory would have to serve enough.

    Music - The Embrace

The bulky Sithlord was radiating anger and power. More than he had ever had. His scarred features seemed to shift into something inhuman as his blade came down and never reached Malignady. Actually he had never tried to strike his apprentice. But Master Krelwaak, who now stared at him. He felt the pain in his chest. And the galxy exploded in pain. But before he died, before his soul slipped out of his body and into chaos, eagerly awaiting him, Darth Null felt something else. A slight pull to his most inner self. A gentle summoning, like a dark gravity of the soul. And he collapsed, his body no longer alive. His soul felt a chill. Like arms of ice laying around it. It enveloped Darth ulls existence and his lat conscious thought was the realization he was feeded upon. He was taken. Absorbed. Digested by something cold and deadly. It was a prison for the soul. It was . . . the cold and deadly embrace of the Sphere. It was death. Stretched into eternity.

Ulec grinned as he saw the fat body of the Sith fall to the ground. "Well done, my young brother." He hissed, his yellow eyes piercing the Duk. Next to him Kant appeared now. Completely healed from the crushing of his body he had suffered only a quarter hour ago. "Powerful. This one was extraordianry powerful." He said, his tone now cold. Ulec looked at him and nodded. "A very good catch." The Sith replied. Then turned to Malignady again. "The machine man and your Master are dead. You are an impressive Sith, my young brother. Now, only one is left to kill. One and the power the Sphere shall be yours, as you shall be the Spheres!" He hissed and his yellow eyes seemed to glow even more.

His master was dead, his advancement secured by what had been made a simple act of mercy. Ulic spoke and the words fell like seeds on hard ground, this was not a praiseworthy act, nothing to envy except the destruction of an envy.

    The Memory was worthless.

He projected emotions, feelings that where not his own. Being a liar among Sith and getting caught required great skill. It was as though his body would radiat pride now, mingled with disappointment. Always add a bit of truth, and most will miss the twist, much like a small hidden bone coated in food and gone unnoiticed...until the consumer lodges it in their throat.

Kant returned speaking much as the Sith, although in a way the Sith had never since his first appearance spoken as one. They were as ice, they were cold. He had only known cold like once, when in the presence of a Sith with the focus of a necromancer on death. "Who is left?" is asked a bitter questioning tone.

Those eyes that glowed, those words, but...they were just memories...

    Command Center

His life flashed befor e his eyes. A born Sith, raising through tier ranks, mastering the Dark Side, serving on Roon and eventually become it´s master, only to be degraded by Darth Atavus. The fall. The humilation. The years of teaching and then his death by one of the fools he had tried to make a Sith. A traitor. A Jedi. The force. It was all betraying him. he had been meant to be greater than any of them. Jealousy. They had betrayed them because they knew he was . . .

He felt the Cold Embrace and all his existence turned to a drained, eternal suffering. Even the screams in his thoughts, in his consciousness were consumed. But there was no void to take him. It was an cold deadly hunger that was feeding on him.

The Sphere. Was the last thing he ever felt.

Taking his soul. And the world turned to suffering.

Ulec had smiled. It was this smile of a man who had enjoyed killing for most of his life. Looking down on the Duk his yellow eyes gleamed for a second and he hissed his words. "Isn´t that obvious?" He asked. Kant said it aloud. "The Jedi Master. Krelwaak is still left." He Said and folded his eyes. Then the lights had gone out. When Malignady ignited one of his lightsabers to illuminate the room they were gone. Both of them. All of them. He was alone. And the station was now dark.

It was dark everywhere. Maybe the ion cloud hat hit some essential energy lines. Or Darth Null´s rampage had destroyed something of greater importance to the energy circuit. But both was unlikely. The most logical possibility was somebody had shot the system down. But not the whole system. A single corridor Malignady found was still illuminated by cold industrial lamps. It lead to the machines section, if the old huttese signs were to be trusted. And from it´s end noises could be heard in a station, that was remarkable silent, otherwise.

    [image=http://screenrant.com/images/enterprise-corridor.jpg]

No guide was there, no whispers. As if the Jedi was something the Duk had to do alone.

The processor feeding his brain with information had jumped alive. Neither sound nor visuals . . . sight and hearing, so to say, had returned, but obviously Darth Cruor was alive. And restored. Repaired. Worked on. By who? He did not know.

But as his hearing returned it seemed to be a droid who spoke. "Is he alive?" "Statement: Obviously he is." Another droid answered. "His hearing should be restored now."

There was asilence. A humming. A silence. Bristling elictricity. "Statement: I know you hear us, unknown Lord." Another hum. "Official Statement: Welcome aboard the Invincible."

    Darth Cruor
    Aboard the Invincible?

He saw the emergency display. Someone was deionizng him. He couldn´t have done it himself. His system was not meant to do so. Then there were voices. Droid voices. Welcome? Aboard the Invincible? Darth Cruor wanted to answer, but could not. His body still numb and abscent from his consciouness. The Invincible? What kind of ship was it? The droids had alled him Lord. They knew he was Sith. Not hard to guess. If one knew Sith. And there was only one source of Sith that he knew from aroun here. Those who had appeared four thousand years ago. Those who had killed this Kant and his sith companions. And how did Sith travel 4000 years ago?

Darth Cruor concluded the only logical explanation. He was on board the ancient Sith Warship. It was called the Invincible. And it had most likely kept itself going for all those years, manned only by droids. He was much better in it than he thought. Revealing the truth. His definition of himself as a tool, a sharp blade wielded by his masters was slowly questioned. After all, it looked as if he had been the only Sith making sense of all that had happened.

It was a stillness like one he had never before expierenced in all his years, the silence of the moments...of being alone in every sense of the word, not even the force shed the humm of life he was accustomed to feel. It was quiet and it was cold.

Igniting his blade merely confirmed it, he was alone.

Only the redness of the blade, lurid and illuminating like glowing blood painting all scenes it found with itself. Possibilities for why danced in his head, but in the end he did not care, he simply kept moving, kept painting the halls red, killing the silence with a steady hum of his own short blade.

There was some light, some walls that resisted the lightsabers taint, a hall filled with the bright cold glow of industrial lamps. Shutting down the blade he followed this new, yet still freezing lights, followed the new sounds, heading where if sight could be trusted, into the very heart of the machine section. One of the few places where a life of noise was yet being born.

Onward and down he continued, his mind briefly wondering at the guest that had greated them when they first entered the station, the one that they had first killed. What was a life that never left solitude? They might have done it a service, and for some reason that thought gave him a bit of perverse pleasure as he continued toward the sound, unignited blade in hand.

The noise lead the small Sith deep into the engines section. Dead like everything inside the ancient colony, they seemed to have not worked for a long time. Even a rudimentary educated man knew that this was odd. The Colony was obviously powered. Yet, these reactors were surely not the source of that power.

Bodies were down here, or to be more precise. Skeletons. Nikto and humans. Wearing robes and cloth. The deeper down Malignady climbed, the colder it became. But the sound was present. Always. It had been different in the upper levels, as it had sounded like a hum. But coming deeper, one could hear it were actually pulses, running through the machines.

For a second Malignady could see the a flash of light below. But it was gone immediately.

"I wondered what took you so long, Sith." He suddenly heard a voice from behind. As he turned around Krelwaak was sitting leaned at a wall behind him. The Jedi Master looked terribly . . . drained. As if he not eaten for month. "So, you were spared, yes?" The Jedi Master coughed. "I would have bet it would keep your Master for the supper."

Then everything went dark. And only a second later hte world returned in pain. Crushing into the reality of Darth Cruor was pain, noise, scent, vision. All at once, like a second birth. When he had coped with his return, he felt his right leg was stiff now and his right arm had been taken away. "Sir, we could not deionize it, we need to replace it. But your technology seems to be very . . . advanced. We are afraid we have not met any Sith Lord since our good Lord died in the confrontation with this terrible entity." The Droid explained and his dientical comrade passed him. Darth Cruor realized he was not in a MedBay, but in a hangar. Small fighters around him, inclduing the one he had used to get here. Auto-piloted back to his mothership. The only light was a dimmed red. This ship had operated under emergency energy for a long time. And it was indeed an ancient Sith warship. Filled with ancient warmachines from long lost conflicts of other ages . . .

Looking at the Jedi Master he could feel the passing thoughts in his own head, the knowledge that he had just passed down a Gundarks hole to land in the nest, to find a preppared meal waiting.

It was what would be a delicious feeling in most circumstances because he had seen himself as a young Gundark in the nest. The situation was ripe for it, with the lone lit corridor being the hole, the Jedi being the one prepared as the meal, but there was something...off.

With a wave of a hand he pulled out three half thermal detonators, before spinning them to aim back toward himself. They flew by each aimed at a seperate spot, two on the dead reactor and one down to where he had seen a light a moment before. Precautions where still needed.

"Killing three Sith Lords takes time. Especially if you are merely an Acolyte, although that no longer fits for one whose killed Sith Lords." Raising a hand he rubbed his jaw slowly, "But you are an meal now yourself, if only of spirit to it. While it seems to want me to take your place...though from your looks..." he left that unfinished sentence hang in the air as he kept alert for what would next come frome the force that he now sat within.

    The Hangar of the Invincible

The pain was trembling through his artificial body. The last natural part of him, the nervous-system rebelling against his body. Then he calmned down. Patiently he did not resist the agony the mistreatment had brought him. The Dar Side alone had helped him survive this. Who had deactivated the shields? Was someone else over there? The Jedi Master, probably? Or had his brotheres betrayed him?

He would probably never find out. With a sigh he turned his attention to the droid. "With entity, I assume you mean a huge Sphere of light, do you?" He asked. "What did happen here?" He wondered, then he shook his head. Droids had no understanding of the msteries of the force or the Sith in that regard. "Are there any records of my predecessors?" Asked instead to the two droids. Strangely he felt secure. On this ship, dying amidst an ionized Nebula, he felt save.

The Jedi coughed out and slowly raised to his feet. "It can´t feel you when you´re here." He said, ignoring the Sith´s comment. He seemed not to have heard them, actually. "Here it can´t manifest. None of them can." He said weakened. The smiling. "Or maybe they just don´t want to. Making me feel save, before they come for me." He turned to the Sith Acolyte and sighed. His hand went to the ballustrade to support him, as weak as he was. But in the force he was still strong. Malignady could feel it. A true Master. A Jedi Master.

"Do you hunger for it´s power? Did you know it all began with Sith hungering for it´s power?" He smiled. "All to fitting, if it now ends that way. Don´t you think so?"

Above them a rumbling sound was heard. Krelwaak´s head snapped up. "Have you brought any others with you?" He asked. His alien eyes narrowing.

The man did not hear, or he did not care. If it were not for the Jedi Master's presence in the force he would have called him weak, a pitiful swine lower than his master had been if such a thing were possible.

"Do you hunger for it´s power? Did you know it all began with Sith hungering for it´s power?" He smiled. "All to fitting, if it now ends that way. Don´t you think so?"

His throat sac expanded and receeded a couple of times as the Jedi Master spoke, for he spoke of most interesting knowledge. Knowledge in many ways was power, but for now he merely stuck out his tongue for a moment as he thought.

Above them a rumbling sound was heard. Krelwaak´s head snapped up. "Have you brought any others with you?" He asked. His alien eyes narrowing.

"What my Master did not kill, I did. We are alone." Slowly he stepped toward the opposit railing, gaining some distance between him and the blades Master. "It has asked me to kill you, just as the One Sith do, all speak with one voice. What do you speak of? Be clear, or I must do as I have been instructed."

He was not bluffing, his grip on the unignited handle was kept tight, knuckles paleing as he stood there staring at what all called to be killed. But he had killed his Master, now it was his time to make the decision...could he use this?

    The Colony
    Near Reactor

The Jedi Master turned his head slightly and on his alien face appeared a strange grin. "Kill me? Haven´t you listened? They can´t reach you here. Or me. It would be you against me. All alone. Do you have any idea how many of your kind I´ve killed? How many? And once I got past your friends up there, once I managed to escape this colony with what is rightfully mine . . . I´ll kill you all." He said and his own hand fell to his lightsaber. "They never wanted to replace me. They simply try to kill me. Because I never wanted what they offer you. I want it all. The true force. In it´s pure form. The Sphere is mine." He hissed. "MINE!" He added then. The sound from above came again. This time nearer, less diffuse. Growing louder. Krelwaak grinned and suddenly it seemed to be Darth Null´s voice, calling Malignady by his familiar and most humiliating nickname. "You little BUG!"

The droid looked at the Sith. Almost like it was curious. Which was impossible. It was a machine. Not unlike Darth Cruor, only a machine. "Answer: The Holocron might be the object you do desire, Master." The leader of the two droids said. Then added. "Question: Shall I bring you to it? We secured it with us." And the second droid did look at hte first as if surprised.

    Darth Cruor
    The Invincible

A holocron from the age of Lord Revan. What a price it would have been under different circumstances. Darth Cruor felt itches in his artificial nerves, still. But looked at the droid directly. "Bring me there." He said and his hand went to his lightsaber. Only to realize the weapon wasn´t there. "Where is my lightblade?" He asked the droid.

Then he realized it could be in few places. Had they takne it from him? Why?

Maybe they did realize he was not from there Sith Order after all.

"Speculation: You must have lost it, Master." The droid said. "Suggestion: Follow me, Master." He said nad now Darth Cruor saw that he was indeed not only inside a hangar, but the small windows outside of it were frozen. Obviously this hangar had been all that had been left energized. A third droid appeared behind a an ancient Sith Fighter. This one was wearing a weapon. "Suggestion:" The Second Protocol Droid began now. "Why don´t you take this guard?" He asked. The first protocol droid looked at him, then added: "Correction: Protector."

The Second droid met his partners gaze. After a moment htat seemed to last far too long it turned it´s head toward Cruor again. "Correction: Indeed I meant Protector."
