ST 154 HD screenshots from TFA (lots of great wallpapers)

Figured I'd share 154 HD screenshots I took from the digital release of The Force Awakens. In addition to aliens and creatures that were only on screen for a split second, you should be able to find some good wallpapers in here.

I posted this on Reddit yesterday (I've added 14 requests since then) so some of you may have seen it already.

That's so annoying how the pictures only load once you scroll to them. Would be nicer if the entire page would fully load on it's own.

Good images, but some of the film's best, IMO, seem to have been omitted.

 

I agree with that. That's probably inevitable though.

 

Thats great! Any chance that you could do one for each frame of the movie then have them playback at 24fps with sound? Or should I just wait for my BluRay tomorrow?

Love to have every frame of the forceback scene.

 

I like the ones at the end of Mark Hamill and I don't even care for the movie. But he looks cool as the old Jedi Master.

 

I wouldn't know Leia or Poe were really in the movie.

I never said it was a storybook adaptation of the movie. Poe is in there but he doesn't really have any cool poses and is mostly straight on headshots or has motion blur and I couldn't get a good shot. Sorry these 154 free images whose exact frames took me hours to compile weren't good enough for you.

 

Relax, I wasn't complaining. Just stating my opinion. Some of the beautiful long, establishing shots, such as the Falcon arriving on Takodana, and a number of others, are missing. That's all. You're perfectly within your rights to choose whichever images you like, though. Thanks for compiling the images you did. Lots of good stuff in there.

 

I tried getting a good one from that scene but the Falcon has motion blur and I never saw any good frames. A lot of these screenshots look like garbage just 1 frame before or after what I posted. They look great in motion but not in a still photo.

 

JJ. That is his style. He is a kenetic filmmaker. The still shots aren't all that good but when in motion, you can feel the movment.

 

I agree that he's kinetic, but there are plenty of great still shots in the film. Particularly on Jakku.
