Is white rum white because it's filtered more and distilled, and brown rum brown because it's filtered less and made in a barrel drawing clolour/flavour from the burnt inside?

I don't think milney is quite aware of the history behind blank threads in these forums, especially back from the UBB days.

Perhaps explaining the significance of it might help

The original FanForce forum was hosted on a UBB message board system, and it was apparently really easy to make blank threads. I've never tried it here on this board system, but it's supposed to be much harder to do.

Doesn't look like it's that hard though.

But more to the point of tradition, it was a sort of test to see who could figure out how to get into a blank thread, seperating oldbies from newbies and nerds from geeks.

It really is kind of obvious when you think about it...
