So NV 1st Southern Nevada Jedi Draft

Ya well the problem is figuring out which two jedi to pick that would work good together. I like NJO teams but if you don't have Luke then you're screwed.

 

Why is Vergere not on the list?

 

Also since I came up with this idea I think that entitles me to type in bold right???

We can't add Revan because he doesn't have a story, his story is based on individual choices... how the heck can one judge that?!?

The original Jedi Draft game in the Star Wars Community has been locked, maybe permanantly. Last Draft, I believe it was locked twice, for 24 hour periods. The Mods were also considering not letting them do the current draft because of the problems the last one had. While I'm quite sure we won't have the kind of problems they did, let me make a few suggestions to keep in mind when posting.

1. This is a game. If you are taking this little game so seriously that you'll mudsling and lie and insult your other GMs to make the Judges vote for you, you aren't welcome in this game.

2.Keep a lighthearted attitude, and never criticize other people's points of view. If someone says that Anakin Solo is the greatest Jedi of all time, don't flame that person if you disagree.

3. The Commish will handle GMs who do not make their pick on time. It's not cool to come on the boards and see several posts from people you consider friends saying "Where is so-and-so?!? HURRY UP!" Also, if someone goes over their 24 hour limit, you must wait for the Commish to post the updated draft order before the next GM may make his/her pick.

Listen... I've seen those Drafts get very tense, but that is because some of the GMs have huge Egos and always consider their team as best. We just need to keep in mind that a little compitition is good, but it is just a game. And with that...

They locked the draft because the commissioner was being a tyrant and degrading me for no reason. I am sure that we will not have those problems here because everyone seems nice enough and because I think the commissioner here doesn't have favorites and will treat everyone with respect. So lets have fun and enjoy the game.

wow, after reading through the posts on the SW Community board, I have come to the conclusion that I don't know near enough about the Extended Universe to make a good judge. any GMs want to trade positions? otherwise, I am going to have to step down as a judge anyway.

 

I'm worried Steph won't be able to make her choice today, because she's at the Ren Faire......but since i know what her first choice pick is, i'll go ahead for her...if this is against the rules....uh....sorry......

Acthar, dude, I gave three online resources in the first post to find more information about Jedi you don't know about. Plus there's always Google. I was judge once before, and trust me, those sites are invaluable. I don't think you need to step down.

And, Petra, this is against the rules, since who can really tell whether that's really her pick or not. Picks need to be posted here or come through me. Does she have a cell phone with her? If you PM me the number, I can make a real quick call to make it offcial.

It's not that hard to judge. Try it out and then if you don't like it then we will find a replacement.

I'm sorry I couldn't accept Luminara's pick, and her time has expired. There's a reason all picks not made by the player must be made by the Commish. This keeps people from saying things like "KleptoKlown told me he picks Jocasta Nu." and messing things up for the other GMs.
