    I found out that both Darren McGavin and Don Knotts passed away on Saturday.

    I figure both deserve a mention here, if only for Kolchak and Mr. Limpet, repectively...

    Agreed. Both with a long career and at least a small influence on the Science Fiction and Fantasy community.
