topic 1: in both the Jedi Quest comic and Jedi quest: fight for truth by Jude Watson both have Obi-Wan and Anakin looking for Anakins lightsaber. so is jq a comics adaption of jqfft. Do they take place at the same time or what?

topic 2: JQFFT cover did someone merge Jake Lloyds and Hayden christiansons faces together on a scanner or what?

 

1 - Kinda like SotE. Both tell the same story from different points of view.

From the summaries on Darkhorse.com it sounds like it's the exact some story. How dissapointing.

 

I still havn't read the novel.

Its cool that they are doing a comic/novel multimedia thing again. I would love to have a VP (or some other NJO) comic adaptation.

 

a multimedia thing is when the stories each tell a different aspect of the same story, from different points of view.

To just make an adapation is not very Original, we got that with TTT adapations.

No all 3 of SOTE gave us different sides to the story, for instance we learn what the fringers, and Bounty hunters were up to in the comic.

we got some background and the survival of dash render, and other expansion's to dash's side of the story in the video game.

We got the Movie Hero's point of view in the Novel itself.

It requires special software.

 

The software isn't too hard to find. I have seen it for only about $20-$40(don't remember exactly). Check out a computer/electronics store like BestBuy if you are interested.

 

there are actually several programs that can do it, some do it better than others.

OK, RP,JQ re both 13 but on the cover of Rogue Planet Its Jake Lloyd, and on JQ its Hayden Lloyd (or Jake Christianson)

It's the JQ Anakin. When RP was written Hayden hadn't yet been named the choosen one. They'd have blended that image too if they had known what Anakin would look like at the age of 19.

 

He's 12 in Rogue Planet.

Actually, there is another that features Anakin between E1 and E2. The JA special Edition is half pre E1 and half post. It was a good book but nothing major happened.

 

oh yeagh now i remember that one so three out of 4 Uno wat books have him 12-13, geez hve him be like a teen like 16, No more 13 books because my sister thinks that Hayden Lloyds cute. So one book where anakins 12 its Jake Lloyd, When hes 13, its Hayden Lloyd, But in JASE, hes 13 and its HC, Jude Watson wrote both books but had ifferent illustrations, thats it she has mpd. One wants 13 to be HL and one wants it to be HC, but hes thirteen and personality 2 wants him to look the same from 13 - 19. P#2 is insane

 

Actually, Anakin makes a cameo in Emissaries to Malastare (he's still 9 though).

He's also in the new game "Racer Revenge" in which he's 17.

Its not out yet, right?

Its the sequel to "Racer," the pod-racing game that came out with the release of TPM. Its dosn't fit very well into the timeline, as Anakin is racing on different planets in the pod-racer he only uses once. And the fact that in TPM its the first time he wins.

So, don't expect Racer's Revenge to fit any better. Would the Jedi let him race professionaly? Its still an intresting concept for a game, and Anakin will look like Hayden.

 

Maybe they'll make an adaptation of it if they ever do that Jedi Quest ongoing series?

 

On the same topic, but a slightly skewed offshoot:

Am I the only person who read the Jedi Quest "novel" (to use the term somewhat loosely) and, at first reading, thought the whole vision sequence had left us with the notion that Anakin's saber was somehow red instead of blue?

I had to re-read that section and flip through latter parts of the book to make sure it wasn't. I'm not sure if I was just reading too fast (as I tend to do with these kinds of books), or if it was just some sloppy wording on Watson's part.
