I've just stopped by at Maternal Instincts. You guys are doing a great job! I'll try to post some more when I have a chance.

Is anyone else worried that now that we're on page 18, we'll start seeing some more problems with posts not showing up and the page not loading properly? We may need to start the thread afresh pretty soon...

"Mara" means "bitter or sorrowful" in Hebrew...
...just thought you may like to know that. I didn't mean anything by it, honest.

 

And "Jade" means "a discarded woman" in Hebrew(I think). Both names fit Mara very well. BUT this is a Callista fan page, meaning we shouldn't be talking about Mara Jade! Just for the book, I liked Callie better then Mara!

 

But we're not here to diss Mara or anything...

LadyCallie: I was the same way--I loved Callie from the moment she appeared in COTJ (even if it did take me a few more readings of COTJ to warm up to the idea of Luke and Callie, given the fact that I was such a Luke and Gaeri fan. Now that I've "seen the light" I can't believe it took me so long to see how perfect they are for each other LOL!!).

I agree wholeheartedly with you, there, LadyCallie. Callista has always been my favorite EU character, and one of my favorites from the entire Star Wars saga.

 

Please write another story! Lets just rewrite all the rest of the books! Nothing good happens after "Children" anyway
(though I did like "Crystal Star").
It could be about Luke and Callie's problems training their children to be Jedi. That is if they live through "Instincts"! eek.gif

Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I've last visited, but I intend to make up for that.

I've added another scene to Maternal Instincts. It's a dream sequence with Callista and Kara, and it foreshadows what's going to happen in the future... eek.gif

I would love to have a sequel to Maternal Instincts, but as of right now, I have no idea what it's going to be about. I'll worry about that later when we get close to finishing the present story.

Finally, TPM won an award! And deservedly so!

quigon70, Callista's last name is for now "Ming". It's short for Cray Mingla, the woman whose body Callista is now inhabiting. I'm not sure if that's her real last name or not, though. It sounds Asian to me, though.

Ah, and thank you, Darth-Boba-Fett, for providing me with the entertainment I needed today.
